A triumphant cinematic experience -- ALICE IN WONDERLAND is an incredible feast for your eyes, ears and heart that will captivate audiences of all sizes.
I took a gamble on buying this edition when no one had reviewed it yet. I tried several other Kindle editions available and had found them truly appalling in terms of formatting. This however, is significantly better, featuring well structured chapter breaks and all the original illustrations, which enhance the story a lot.

Furthermore, considering it contains both books, plus the excellent Hunting of the Snark, it is a fantastic price.

However, there are still some glaring mistakes, such as some formatting bugs in a few of the poems and spelling errors in places (such as at the start of Looking Glass, where some of the Ls are replaced with 1s - I guess a scanner did the 'writing here').

5 stars for the great price and superior formatting over the other options. -1 star for the glaring lack of proof reading from the publisher.

As ever, Lewis Carroll entertains both children and adults.Having read the book as a child I enjoyed it but did not actually understand the meaning of the subtler bits. Now as an adult the meanings become clear so you get quite a different perspective altogether. Also having viewed different documentaries on TV, various films and other media you get a deeper look into the authors intention.Well worth rereading at any time.

This is terribly typeset. I do not think a human editor ever set eyes on the text. It is riddled with typos and random italics. You would be better off reading the Project Gutenberg books on your phone.

Overall this version is fine, but BEWARE the text is small and has small spacing. My 9-yo, who has 20/15 vision, has trouble reading it. In the picture, Alice is on the left and my grown-up book (Fellside) with regular text is on the right for comparison.

It is a delightful read. It does give one pause to consider what brain enhancing chemicals were ingested. In the manner of eat me, drink me, I wanted the same supply.
Alice is quite petulant and her beloved pussy Dinah as well.
You will regret not buying it!

It was of interest to me to read the related works in this collection in chronological order. They made much more sense that way. The illustrations that were included were quite enjoyable.

5th grade advanced reader is hard to find challenging books that aren't full of sex and yet keep him excited about reading. This collection was one of those that fits in that little niche. He loved it!

Overall well-formatted and edited. Original illustrations are a big plus.

I love the sheer nonsense of it, and it's one of the greatest children's classics.
So why not 5 stars ?
What let's it down slightly, this compilation of all of Alice's adventures, are frequent mis-prints, and the eratic lay-out of the pages, ie uneven margins as if it's been produced on an old typewriter.
Despite all of this it's still fun to read..

The cover makes this edition look like it had all new illustrations, but they are the original woodcuts. Main frustration is that there are errors in the typesetting - such as chapters not in bold and the font changing for a section of a chapter.
Not as easy to read as a children's book as you might expect.

The number of editions for Alice in Wonderland is confusing but I made a really bad choice with this one. It is anything but 'deluxe' - flimsy, awful resolution for illustrations and gives the impression of being photocopied from the original in someone's garage. Avoid.

It's been a while, the last time I read this book was at school many moons ago, still a great book, now I have all three. I bought it for me to read in to work, so far been reading it to mini shorts- with the odd voices place here and there. A lovely book to read aloud.
