I can not emphasize this enough: this boot DOES run small I like everyone claims. I thought for sure these people were crazy. Really?? Order one full size larger?? Yes ladies, at least one full size larger. I almost always wear 9.5. Rarely 9, rarely 10. I ordered 10.5 and with my regular semi-thick socks, they are almost snug. I tried them on with my thick insulated socks and they ARE snug. I would send them back for size 11 if I could get them for the same price, but somehow I was able to get the 10.5 for just under $34 and the size 11 is $129. Since I’m only going to be wearing these for a week during my Christmas holiday in Colorado, I think I can deal with the snugness for the price.
Additional details: I’m 5’10”, 150 lbs, 34” pants inseam, 28” waist, and Scandinavian. Hope this review helps people get their sizing right the first time.

Holy cow, these boots are amazing!!! I wore them in Mammoth in 10 feet of fresh powder with occasional negative degree temperatures, and my feet were so nice and toasty! They’re rated for -25 F and I believe it. I wore a single pair of wool socks and couldn’t have asked for warmer feet. I even bought those little warming packets just in case, but I never even had to unpack them.

These boots were extremely comfortable, the soles provide good grip on snow and ice (I mean nothing will be perfect on ice except maybe metal studs, but these are good!), and the way they’re designed, even if you walk in super high powdery snow and snow falls into the top opening, the bottom part (starting above the ankle) is tapered and the snow never actually falls into the area with your feet, and further, you never feel the cold where the snow is. I had snow pants with the extra powder layer, so if you’re wearing regular pants you might feel it more on your legs, but I doubt you’re climbing in 10 feet of fresh snow with jeans on so it’s a moot point. The snow was so powdery and high that I couldn’t even go snowshoeing, but I did attempt to do a hike wearing these boots, and I was sinking in to about my shoulders with each step. The activity was quickly abandoned, but I spent many hours exploring in the snow and ice, and these boots stood up to the task like a champ. I was worried because they’re a tad shorter than what I originally wanted, but as I stated, the design removes the concerns I had about snow falling in.

I usually wear a 7.5-8 and I read reviews about people finding these shoes to be small or uncomfortable, so I went with a size 8. I rarely have problems with shoes, but sometimes I do find certain ballet style flats to be on the tight side until they stretch a little, so I don’t think my feet are extremely narrow. It’s probably the design meant to keep the snow out that some people find challenging because it feels tight slipping your foot in, but once your heel is all the way in, it’s roomy and very nice, and there isn’t any tightness anywhere. Obviously, everyone’s feet are different, but I really love these boots and the way they fit! They say waterproof on them and I have found this to be true. My feet were 100% dry after hours of trudging through really high snow. They’re also lightweight and kind of pretty, so you can wear them anywhere, from a backcountry snow hike to après-ski drinks at the bougiest resorts.

I participate in Schutzhund and train outdoors at night. While these boots are warm enough for Va/NC weather, they run ridiculously small and narrow. I wear a 9 but ordered a 10. Length would have been ok but they are narrow and make my feet slightly numb when I wear thick socks. Also, haven't tried to clean the mud off of them so not sure how that will go. They are actually cute(in my world) and I almost hated to take them for dog training but ....
Columbia; start making your boots wider!

I usually wear 9.5 wide. Ordered 10.5, still too small and tight. Columbia needs to add wide sizing to their boot line. I will have to send back. I think it's a nice boot. Will have to add arch support for those that need better support. Doesn't have a big heavy sole. More like an earth shoe feel.

I originally ordered a size 7 but had to return for a size 8. So yes they run small. They do keep my feet warm with temperatures around 8-15. I like the way the fit. I love how they are easy to pull on, however I have been wearing my new boots in Montana for just a week and the zipper broke off! There is no way to zip them up here in this weather without the zip! I am still here on vacation and now I don't have a boot to wear in the snow..... I would not recommend.

When I first got these, my first instinct was to exchange them for half or even a size bigger. Glad I gave it a chance.

I’m normally a size 5 1/2 and ordered a 6. They were hard to put on and tight but once you’ve managed to put them on they were comfortable and warm. The more I wore them, the better they fit even with thick socks. I no longer struggle to shove my normal sized feet in. Already tested them walking in snow, rain and icy roads. They kept my feet warm and dry. It’s got good traction too. I do think it is somewhat small. Half a size up worked for me. Got it for a very good price as well. Definitely a good buy.

Just received these yesterday in black size 8.5 and so far, so good. Shipping was quick (ordered 3/2/18, received 3/5/18). Color and overall look is as shown, which is good. Foot went in very easily, no issues with the zippers. I'm usually an 8.5 and fit was a little snug for my liking with thin socks (heels and toes hit right to the ends, snug on the top and sides of the feet), but it feels like they will stretch a bit (like one reviewer said) due to material so I think thicker (ie wool) socks will be fine down the road. I have a pair of the Columbia Loveland Mid Omni Heat in size 9 and it is a little too roomy for my liking even with wool socks. I've been wearing the Heavenly Slips around the office today (on carpet) and they are comfy, very light, warm, but I don't think they are as warm as the Heavenly Slips even though they apparently have the same 200g insulation, Omni-Heat reflective lining, and rated for -25F/-32C temperature. Similar height to the Heavenly Slips: I'm 5' 4", regular sized limbs, and the top of boot comes about 8.5" high from the bottom of my foot. Haven't tried in the cold/snow/rain/ice yet. Will update if any issues.

I currently own a pair of USA size 8.5 Columbia boots with laces that fit well (see photo) and says Omni-Tech Waterproof Breathable on inside label and also Patented Thermal Reflective Omni-Heat. They are really good boots but I wanted some fast and easy pull on-boots. I recommend ordering 1/2 size larger. They are supposed to be USA size 8.5 but my foot can barely fit in with a struggle. I have returned them UPS and I am going to order a size 9 now, as I really like the boot.

I purchased my second pair of these boots since I think they are simply awesome. When I moved back to Canada I needed winter boots that kept me warm whilst walking my dogs daily in extremely cold temperatures. Buying boots that don't contain materials sourced from the depressing and sick animal slavery industry was a must. These boots really are extremely toasty for your feet. They are also extremely easy to put on as you just zip them up and don't have to deal with laces. You have to go a size up as they run small. I wear size 7 and first got an 8 but now I purchased an 8.5. Both work but I got an 8.5 this time since I've worn my mom's 8.5's and they are great with super thick winter socks. I hope they continue to make these boots.

Great boots! Warm and comfortable. I can confirm, based on previous reviews, that it is a must to order yourself 1 size larger. I followed the advice of others and ordered 1 size larger and they are the perfect fit.
