It's an easy read book. However it feels like it kept running out of words so it kept repeating itself over and over again. Sometimes it just gets too boring and annoying hearing fordlandia over and over again.

The product was as expected.

Very slow read...would not recommend purchase to anyone. Only reason I am continuing to read is I am from Detroit and the Ford Motor Car Company has a special meaning to me.

The connection between Detroit and the jungles of Brazil most interesting.

This is a fascinating book about an unbelievable topic: Henry Ford trying to grow a rubber tree plantation in the Amazon! Only Henry Ford dared to that, and Mr. Grandin gives a vivid description as to how that happened. Bravo!
