Most people believe that the true key to becoming ultra-wealthy lies in some sort of "secret," a kind of well-kept secret that's extremely "hush-hush," and only realized by a small amount of the elite, or a privileged few. But, actually, this isn't the case at all. In fact, these super-rich individuals realize that their money needs to work for them and so they learn how to take what are known as "calculated" risks.

The super-rich are definitely not psychics, nor do they have a "magic" secret that they hold close to their own kind. In fact, their real secret lies in the fact that they know what simple investing mistakes should be avoided. And, in truth, these mistakes are common knowledge, even among those investors who are not particularly wealthy at all.

Investing properly is a guided, purposeful tool for building and adding to wealth, but it is not only for the rich. Actually, anyone can get started quite easily, and there are multiple avenues that make it easy to begin, with small amounts to start up a portfolio. Additionally, what differentiates using investment (as opposed to gambling) is that it takes a period of time for the "magic" to happen. Therefore, it is not a get-rich-quick scheme, at all. I want us to be clear on that point from the get-go.

By the end of this book, you'll have a great understanding of what investing is, and you will know how the magic of compounding works too. We'll take a look at other options that you might find useful, so then you'll have the knowledge you need before you get started with your own investing. Again, thank you for joining me here; it's my pleasure to guide you through this important information. I believe that knowledge is power, and I hope that you'll feel more comfortable once you get the real gist of how it all works, and how it can work really well for you.
very glad I go this free, while reading I only took 4 notes, as there was nothing being taught. Many key words had no "meaning" attached as the author didn't tell me the Beginner Investor what they meant. I got this book to be taught all the terms that make up investing that I wouldn't know. Not a good book for those just getting into buying stock online (nor anyone wanting to sell)

While the book is a quick read, I found much of the information to be similar to what is found on Motley Fool. There are rules to consider or live by, rather than an education in investing.

Great book for novice investors. Would be a good read for teenagers to give basic insights on the different ways to invest your money.

Stock market is always unpredictable but it is always advisable to know it before entry and this book meets beginner's expectations.

- lilian_ruiz

Gotta start with the basics, good book for understanding why one should start. Information on which investments to start on.

- remi_carter

I am not totally finished reading book but think it is well written and covers all the areas of trading stocks.
I would recommend it to anyone starting out to learn the basics of stock trading.

- kynlee_turner

I have zero experience in investment so it was good to be exposed to some of the terms surrounding different investment choices. I would say for someone in my own position this is a great book to start with and the next book needs to build on more detail to the many different options we have to invest in. Good luck

To the point, easy to read and understand without any fillers. I recommend this book to anyone who is a true beginner to investing (as stated in the title of the book).

It is what it is! This is a basic look at stock market investing for the absolute beginner and being interested in dividends for another revenue stream, I am very happy with the content. It lost a star for being American and the typos.

- micheal_bennet

Short but ok. The section on dividends was the only one that had significant content. The book honestly mentions that most people don't have access to automated trading platforms

- yahya_jackson

Good book. Easy to read and understand investing for beginner. A lot of good information and advices how to invest.

- mia_garcia

Very thin, tells you mainly common sense and not how to identify any worthwhile stock. At the end it gives you a link to his recommendation of the 10 best dividend stock and when you click you get taken through to Leadpages with a sign up for a subscription

This is book is good one but I think reading this book in electronic devices is not seems me satisfied as I read the book on my hand. it is better to read book directly than reading the book in the devices.author in this book explains in a very good understanding manner to all the every one who is able to read and understand.language of the book is easy to understand.the only thing I am not satisfied with this is reading it in device.

I felt that this is not for beginners... It has so many technical charts and very technical explanation which a beginner like me cannot understand... So think twice before investing in this book if you are a beginner...

- lennox_cook

This book talks about US market. As I am a beginner, I am not sure whether the definitions and explanation provided here fits for Indian market or not. I was expecting to get some technical knowledge from this book but this does not cover the technical aspects in detail. The section which talks about common mistakes is really good. Author has done the research and pointed out real common mistakes which I think a beginner can make.

- kalani_adams

It's a good book for investors. More like motivation material, and a brief introduction to the stock markets. For people who are willing to invest should delve deeper and read more concepts on how to invest, trading fees, taxes and fundamental analysis.. good luck

I took a long time in the beginning to read this book only 15-20% in 5-6 days but after a habit I got rest of it in one day and by experience this would be a great book to know about various investment types and how you can do this. But by the name beginners for investing it does not have all that you need to read before investing, I have to read many more book after this on investment to get a full overview. Thanks!

- kaliyah_price

This is the first book I'm reading about Investing. As a beginner i now have some knowledge about what is what. The author clearly (though not in depth) explains everything a beginner should know as an investor. I would recommend this to my friends. I wish to learn more.

- tegan_ramos
