If you like black licorice, which you would have to in order to buy these, you will love the addictive substances that these babies have built right into them. They were so fresh and tasty that I could not stop eating them. I would like to say the package lasted a week but, that would be a lie. I think the package lasted 2 days cause I almost made myself sick eating so much. My husband who does not like licorice as much as I do could not stop eating them himself. I would see him with the package and wonder why he was stealing them from me (LOL). So, if you are doubting if they are fresh or good then let me say, they are very much both fresh and tasty.
And a small word of advice - if you do not want to share you could buy both or secretly hide them from everyone else knowing full well that when they ask where they are and you say you do not know, that in fact you will be enjoying them later when everyone else has gone to bed.

Let me start out by saying I love black licorice. There it is. Deal.,Jelly Belly folks have on offer what they proport to be a Black Licorice Bridge Mix. The were approximately 9 black licorice jelly beans in the bridge mix, they were 100% delish. My one Star review addresses the remainder of what was in the bag. It went from bad tastes to really bad tastes. No black licorice flavor profile. Folks, unless you want pandemonium at your next bridge game, avoid this product.

This is THE BEST LICORICE MIX I have purchased in decades! The only deficit is that I wish they had more of the licorice pieces with the little balls on them, which I think are called nonpareils or something like that. But other than that, these are perfect. They are SO fresh, they melt in my mouth. They have that rich, intense licorice flavor that can’t be beat. I don’t know if it’s real licorice, but it tastes like it. I could look at the bag. OK, I shouldn’t have looked. The good thing is that yes, it does have licorice extract! The bad thing is that it has so many bad things that I better not eat too many in any one day! They aren’t what I would call organic. But they still taste so good!

I bought this because the nutrition info/ingredients page states that it was "A fat-free food * Gluten-free * Peanut-free." I was thrilled because almost all licorice contains wheat. I wasn't so thrilled to receive the product and saw that it says it contains wheat! And the "Gluten-free" tag above it was gone.

I wrote to complain about it because I went to return it and it's not returnable! It's false advertising! But I see that since I complained about that, they have added a spot where they list all of the ingredients now. But I look on the actual selling page at the "real" labels.

I'm out over $11 for something I would never have purchased if they hadn't played fast and loose with the labeling. And I never heard from them or from Amazon. I don't know why they won't give a refund on something that is their error! As of today 8-25-2020, that photo with the inaccurate Gluten-free designation is still on this!

I like the ones covered by sprinkles and the candy coated bits, the jelly beans are just so-so, and the three-colored dots are nasty, floury tasting. So what made up 80% of the weight? The latter of course. Does anyone at the company eat and like those things? No way, so why are they in the bag?

If you like licorice this is a great mix of different versions of licorice. Comes with licorice jelly beans the crunchy pastels and bigger candies. Its another of my faves amd love that jelly belly sells these

No, do not order! Either these candies are just never ordered or they used A very old stock. The entire bag was one block of candy. It was so stale and stuck together we just threw it away, I could not believe The state it was in and that it was still shipped to us I mean someone sold it. You could feel it in the bag but I still thought it would be fine maybe this needed to be separated no They were horrible ....straight to the garbage can.

I guess they are what they call the buttons? i've never see anything like the in a licorice mix. they have a strong fake licorice taste--like they burn but they don't have the flavor. the other stuff in the bag is okay, pretty standard. i'll just throw out the buttons. they've got nothing going for them . disappointed.
