HBO's Emmy-winning Last Week Tonight with John Oliver presents a children's picture book about a Very Special boy bunny who falls in love with another boy bunny.

Meet Marlon Bundo, a lonely bunny who lives with his Grampa, Mike Pence - the Vice President of the United States. But on this Very Special Day, Marlon's life is about to change forever...

With its message of tolerance and advocacy, this charming children's book explores issues of same sex marriage and democracy. Sweet, funny, and beautifully illustrated, this book is dedicated to every bunny who has ever felt different.
The lack of a straight forward title or description of the real message in the book Is deceitful. the plot of this book was explained by my 7 year old son as "we can be whatever we decide we are, and its okay for two BOY bunnies to get married."
NOT the Christmas night conversation I was hoping to have! I understand books can be a wonderful way to address tricky subjects, however there should be representation of that subject in the title or the synopsis of the book!!!
Honestly I feel like I was scammed into bringing Bundos hidden agenda straight to my childs bedroom!

As the mother of a gay son who remembers the discrimination he suffered in his youth, I am happy this charming book is available now. If, through my purchase, I am also contributing support for gay rights while competing with the sales of that other book, I am even happier. Love is something to celebrate, not demonize.

Such a cute book about love, supportive friends, being different, and voting for love. Buy it for everyone and then go donate to the Trevor project. :)

Marlon Bundo rocks! Best little bunny story ever. Wonderful, inspiring message, for all ages. Thank you, John Oliver and crew, for making this uplifting story of love.

I worked with someone who told me that one of the things they had to get across to their children was "different isn't bad, it's just different". That the point of the book. That it also pokes fun at Mike Pence is just a bonus that will be lost in children, but one look at the stink bug had me convinced. And the proceeds that would have gone to Last Week Tonight go th charity is a bonus.

After successfully completing my conversion(shock) therapy sessions with Focus on the Family, I found this book sitting on the bus stop corner. After reading three times over, I never knew the struggles of Mr. Marlon Bundo could be so pertinent to our nation's struggles but also our own internal ones. From here on out, only male bunnies for me.

I cannot fathom how a book like this ever made it to press only NOT to be in a run large enough for its awaiting audience. I had to wait two full months to share this heartwarming tale and transcendent imagery with my young, impressionable son. He’s only a kid; he should be shielded from the ugly truth about supply chains.

Tell me, John Oliver: How I’m supposed to explain THAT to my child?

Buy this, because we're not animals like the author of that other Marlon Bundo book. :)

What a charming book, with a lovely message. It's true, stink bugs are not forever. Happy to buy, and donate to deserving causes.

This is honestly one of the sweetest books I've ever read, and could anyone else hear John Oliver's voice reading this in their head?

- vivian_long

Excellent idea, great cause, and nice illustrated book. Well worth every penny. Kudos to John Oliver, you sir win the internet tonight!

I read this book with my 9 year old daughter and we both love it. We also listened to the audio book and it was just as wonderful. I only wish there was a full cartoon series with John Oliver and Jill Twiss’s version of Marlon Bundo and Wesley.

I recommend this book to all parents and children alike, in fact you don’t need to have kids to enjoy a sweet book about two rabbits falling in love.

- spencer_howard

Thank you guys for having such a wonderful idea. I can not wait to read this to my kids! What a genius way to lay bare the bigotry & outrageousness of those who think they can tell people who they can marry.

- larry_lewis

I absolutely loved this. I had messages of acceptance, love and introduced the idea of democracy. More importantly my 8 and 5 year loved it. Why shouldn’t the romantic outcome of a children’s book be a prince loving another prince, or in this case a boy bunny marrying another boy bunny. Finally I can’t help but enjoy the idea that the bunny of a man with such despicable views about homosexuality could now be one of the first prominent LGBT characters in children’s literature.

Beautiful story, excellent cause!! My children loved it!! Join Marlon Bundo in his quest for love and say no to stink bugs!

A brilliant, heartwarming story which brought a tear to my eye. You see, I am different too as I am a bunny who wheels instead of hops. Especially good if you imagine it being read in the voice of John/Jill Oliver/Twiss (see what they did there?). Message to author: Would you please write a story about a bunny who wheels or a pony who has a working sight dog or a robin who uses sign language? Perhaps Marlon and Wesley could come visit these friends on their honeymoon? :D Five stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A wonderful bunny love story. A great book for all kids - and adults who need to learn about basic decency.
