My heading says it all!!! If you're looking for good deep stories, this is not it. This is a short fast read, full of inspiring statements from Oprah.

I am not happy with the book. It is just chapter after chapter and paragraph after paragraph of quotes of words (for 144 pages) that have presumably been uttered by Oprah. Not even the introduction to the book was written by Oprah. For some reason I thought it was firstly a motivational book that one can read as a book and I was hoping Oprah would have had some input into it. It is just a book of separate quotes, which the two authors sorted under chapter headings. No sentences to link the quotes. I think a dictionary is more motivational. The title states "in her own words" and it is actually not correct and is quite deceiving. The book is about words that Oprah might have uttered, but it is not written by Oprah.
