FOR USE IN SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES ONLY. When Brother and Sister Bear are left with their grandparents for a whole week, they have a better time than they expected.
Grew up on the Berenstain Bear books and it's been a delight reading them to my own toddler. This one in specific we started reading in the month leading up to our first long trip away from our child with his grandparents watching him. Helped him understand the whole situation, he did great with his week with grandparents. Would recommend.

This is a fun little book that can help children feel more comfortable about going to stay with their grandparents. I love the way it shows the sequence of events, and the overall message. The illustrations are cute too, like with most Berenstein Bear books! :)

What's not to love about the Bearinstein Bears Family books? Continuing a tradition in my family I now get them for my grandchildren when I used to get them for my children at the grocery registers instead of candy and crap.

This is a good book about spending time with your grandparents when your parents are on vacation. I got an extra copy for a child in my class who had to stay with his grandparents. My daughter and I absolutely love the Berenstain Bears and collect them all. We loved adding this to our collection.

A fun book to read with your grandchildren.

I love the go-F-yourself smirk and glint in Papa's eye when he gets to tell the cubs they aren't coming on his and Mama's second honeymoon. It's the closest we ever get to seeing him and mama really portray the "good enough parenting" ethos. Like, it's okay to be excited to get away from your kids. No one expects the bear family to want to spend time together 24/7. I also love sister proving to us once again that she is the master of shade: "you must be so old you know EVERYTHING". She learned that from one of her parents, and it's definitely not Papa.

A solid read.

Read and enjoyed these series of books as a child and decided to buy a bunch of the books for my niece. She loves them. A few of them had bent corners and a small crease
