Let Love Find You: Seven steps to open your heart to love
Let Love Find You: Seven steps to open your heart to love
The exercises are uncomfortable at times--you have to really face the truth of your feelings, intentions, wants, needs, etc. However, I feel they are definitely increasing my sense of calm and self-contentment. Some of the meditation experiences have been transforming and very powerful, particularly the experience of connecting with your future life mate/lover. However, they do require regular practice and sometimes the feelings you experience are painful if this is what is in your heart at that particular time. As the author states in the book, it is more of workbook that is intended to be re-read and the exercises repeated over time to help you work through all the necessary stages of attracting your next love.
Young Henry Ford: A Picture History of the First Forty Years (Great Lakes Books Series)
Young Henry Ford: A Picture History of the First Forty Years (Great Lakes Books Series)
This book is an excellent source on Henry Ford's family and the world he was born into in Dearborn at the time. I bought this originally because it is one of the few books out there with information about my forebear, Conrad Ten Eyck, and the relationship between the Ten Eycks and the Fords. That said, it was a very interesting read and had lots of delightful historical tidbits on Detroit, Dearborn and the man who made the 20th century the century of the Automobile.

Henry Ford - Auto Tycoon: Insight and Analysis into the Man Behind the American Auto Industry: Business Biographies and Memoirs - Titans of Industry, Book 4
As a fellow Ford historian, I found this an interesting and brief version of the life of Henry Ford, with a good background of his family'e pre-history although I feel it was used too much to pad out the volume of the text. In addition, there were too many assumptions; in the section comparing his business dealing with those of Carnegie, for example, the author assumed the reader knew of this. I for one had no idea who the Clarks were and there was little to explain. Edsel Ford died of undular fever partly brought on by ulcers and partly on Henry's insistence that he should drink milk that was not pasteurised so it would taste how milk used to taste to him as a child. There was no mention of the pressure Edsel was under by the fact that his last years were those of War Production and the struggle to organise the Willow Run plant. Henry himself died by candlelight because there was a storm that night and the power to the house was cut... it has often been noted by biographers that he passed away in candlelight just as he had come into this world. Since it quotes no other sources of research, there is much of this book that felt as if the details of Henry's character were the opinion of the author, but as an addition to a library of Ford histories, it is a worthwhile addition
Make America Great Again! Donald Trump USA Flexfit Hat Cap
Make America Great Again! Donald Trump USA Flexfit Hat Cap
Great quality and it is comfortable. I especially like the personalized message the consumer can choose for the rear of the cap. I look forward to wearing it on VCDL.org’s Lobby Day in Richmond VA on Jan 20 2020.

My original MAGA cap was purchased from the President Trump campaign website. I did not like the cap they sell as the original MAGA cap is shaped like a bag on your head with a bill in front. This cap fits much better.
Bamboo Carcoal Toothbrush Soft Bristle, Kids Toddler Toothbrush Eco Friendly
Bamboo Carcoal Toothbrush Soft Bristle, Kids Toddler Toothbrush Eco Friendly
I love them enough to buy more and I am going to. The price can’t get cheaper for 4. I even want to buy a pack for my niece.

They are super soft, well made, colorful, and cute. My kids are 5 and 3 and have been using them for over a week now and they love them. I even explained to them how these toothbrushes are better for the environment and they seem proud to use them. Really perfect in every way, these will be their toothbrushes until they outgrow them.

I actually bought another pack as well, from another maker, when I bought these. They were almost exactly like these- were bamboo and had colors and had way way more reviews. The brand was EcoFrenzy and had a sun on the box. However, I liked these more and returned the other pack before I even used them. These just seem made better and sea turtles have a special place in my heart, as do many ocean creatures. The bristle on these seemed better and the handles as well. The best! Try them and don’t go back to plastic.
Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Wolverine 6-inch Collectible Action Figure Toy, Ages 14 and Up (Amazon Exclusive)
Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Wolverine 6-inch Collectible Action Figure Toy, Ages 14 and Up (Amazon Exclusive)
I don't collect marvel legends figures as I think most of the times they are just okay. That's not to say that I think they are bad, but most of the time you can find other companies that give you much more for the price such as neca. This figure however was better than I expected. Although one of the faces ( the calm one) looks a tiny bit off, the angry face looks superb. The overall aesthetic of the figure is pretty great. I do have gripes though. one is the beard. It is not fully painted by his chin, specially in his left side. It does make his face looks a bit weird, but I can get over it ( still wish it was fully painted though). I thought it might have been a one in a time issue, but the second one I have has the same issue. The other proble I have is the articulation (which is the biggest for me as I like posing figures). I wish his head could look up a bit higher and for for his feet to have more rage moving forward to put him in a cool crouched over pose as wolverine is know for doing. This are the only complains I have for the figure and frankly they may not be that big of a deal for most people. I listed my complains because everything else in this figure is great ( except for the dogtags, they are okay). This figure is a great release and I'm sure marvel legends and fans of the movie wolverine will enjoy it. I sure did.
The Fall of the House of Usher (Midnite Movies)
The Fall of the House of Usher (Midnite Movies)
Vincent Price was an excellent actor who became well known for his performances in horror pictures. The list is long to be able to mention them all. Roger Corman was a well known film producer/director well known for his horror movies. Together he and Price would collaborate to make a series of horror films based on the stories of Edgar Allan Poe. The first of those films that would kick off the series was "The Fall Of The House Of Usher".

As a writer Poe's stories were dark and brooding and the atmosphere Corman would set for this movie were no less the same. All the basic elements you would expect in a Poe story is in this flick. An individual descending into madness. Dark, gloomy forest. Premature burial. Fog shrouded castles. It's all here in this movie version.

What you don't get in this movie is the typical blood and gore associated with today's horror movies. Nothing is left to the imagination as the blood and guts are splattering everywhere in today's cinema. No this version of "The House Of Usher" is old school. Minimal blood, no guts and lots of use of lighting and camera angles and the spoken word to get the viewer to conjure up in their own mind the horrors that is unfolding.

Then of course there is Vincent Price himself. One of the greatest actors to ever appear on the silver screen. No matter how good or bad the script nor how big or small the roll Price could make the worst film made still an enjoyable event to watch.

Even with the small budget Corman had to work with however this was a very well made work of art made all that much better with Price's performance. I could at this point proceed to tell you the plot and what it is about but there is really no need to. First of all there are plenty of reviews already written for this movie that has described what it is about. Secondly its a Roger Corman and Vincent Price film! What more reason do you need to watch it. Whether you are a Vincent Price fan or a fan of old school horror movies or a Roger Corman fan or simply a movie fan this is a classic to add to any video library.
The Face: A Novel
The Face: A Novel
I haven't given five stars in quite a while. But I can't say enough about this book. I haven't raved about all of Koontz's books, but this one is certainly one of his best. It is extremely well-written. It has characters that you care about. the action turns from mystery/suspense to the unexplainable and never leaves you wanting to put this book down. I loved every part of it and was not at all disappointed in the ending, as I am with so many books that start out well. Mysterious packages left at the mansion of the most famous actor of our time. They hint at a message, but what do they mean? A man is killed by people with a grudge, an old friend of the hero of the story, but then his body goes missing, mysteriously. Events that were deadly, suddenly didn't happen after all. What is going on? I loved this book! Highly recommended!

PROS:
• Durable hard plastic
• Small and portable for travel needs
• Expands 1 outlet into 3, ideal for places with only a single outlet (like my bathroom)
• Contains 1 outlet on the front, and 1 outlet on each side, allowing all the outlets to be utilized for all size plugs, unlike other adapters with side-by-side outlets that can't utilized all outlets due to oversized plugs
• 15A provides more than enough power for most electric devices
• Fits securely into outlet, does not slouch (unless the wall outlet itself is damaged)
• Power plugs stay secure in the tap outlets

CONS:
• No swivel design, not ideal for placement in tight environments, like against 2 objects
• Orientation of the outlets might not be suitable for some users

USEFUL INFO:
• Tap has 3 prongs, one of which is the ground (cylindrical shape), so it only fits a modern electric outlet with 3 holes
• Protrudes roughly 1.625" (inches) out
• Although provides 3 outlets with a total of (15A, 1875W), be mindful of using all 3 outlets and overloading it with high powered electric devices
LEGO(R) Classic Creative Supplement Bright (10694)
LEGO(R) Classic Creative Supplement Bright (10694)
Bright colours and lots of interesting shapes. This box of Lego is cheap for the number of hours you can spend being creative with the plain blocks. This box was more appealing than others due to the unusual colours included, alongside see-through bricks. It comes with a little booklet of ideas for things to make - would be quite useful for younger Lego users as inspiration for designs. Would recommend to anyone wanting a basic pack of Lego bricks that have a slight edge compared to regular bricks.

Very pretty scarf. Does not look “cheap” at all. I bought this as part of an outfit for a secret Santa family through a generous coworker. I picked the mom b/c she made her wish list focus on mostly her kids. I want to let her know that her selflessness won’t go unnoticed and this scarf is a little piece of the little outfits she deserves. I’m giving her, literally, what I’m proud to wear myself.
Bioterti Plush Fun Animal Hats One Size Cap Polyester with Fleece Lining
Bioterti Plush Fun Animal Hats One Size Cap Polyester with Fleece Lining
I usually don't give bad reviews and wanted to give them a chance to redeem their product.

I ordered the koala hat and found out the nose and white-mouth center piece patch were uneven. I contacted customer service which they were really sweet about it, so they sent me another hat. The other 1 came in, but still had a crooked nose so I went ahead and fixed both of those. But then, I noticed that the second one sent in had a rip on the top right ear. I was very saddened. I have 2 hats now and spent little money on it, so I didn't go on the hassle to get a refund and send them back.
The fit was alright, mind you my head is around a L/XL hat size. It fit around the half of my forehead.

Siemens EQ.6 300 TE613501DE Kaffeevollautomat (1500 Watt, Direktwahl durch Sensorfelder, oneTouch Function, hochwertiges Keramik-Mahlwerk) silber/hellgrau
