The Warren Buffett Way, + Website 3rd edition by Hagstrom, Robert G. (2013) Hardcover
The Warren Buffett Way, + Website 3rd edition by Hagstrom, Robert G. (2013) Hardcover
I am not finished yet merely half-way into the book but I wanted to review this book; I just could not wait ;-) to tell you all about it. I am taking my time and digesting it all because the meat needs to be chewed, enjoyed and digested thoroughly. I am enjoying each aspect of this book and can't say enough...............I am loving this book.

I have purchased several books pertaining to Buffett and have followed him and his work for a few years. I was interested in him not only because of his investments but his character is to be rewarded; money isn't everything. I have not finished the other books that I have purchased about him but want to be able to absorb this one first before moving forward into the others. Nor have I gotten a chance to delve into the website yet, I can't wait.

This book helps you to see and delve into the ways into which Buffett processes his investments but also shows how his upbringing, mentors and experiences has helped him in his investment endeavors and the investment choices that he makes as seen in Chapter 2: The Education of Warren Buffet. Here it provides an understanding of the industry and having hands on experience does help but in not letting money be your guide is best. Once you understand then you can make better and educated decisions.

Everyone may not be able to have the same types of successes as Buffett has had but to understand the method behind the man says a lot. Robert G. Hagstrom does a good job in breaking down the book. As in Chapter 4: Common Stock Purchases - Nine Case Studies in the tenets that he uses are valuable from Simple and Understandable and Price Point to Candor/Rationality. Stay tuned for a follow-up from me once I finish the book and review the website.

Up unto this point this book is Highly Recommended.
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis: Bold as Love (Guitar Tabulature)
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis: Bold as Love (Guitar Tabulature)
This is actually the third time I've bought this book. About a decade or so ago I had a copy of this and it got lost or stolen or something. I remembered it because I was actually impressed that the songs herein cold actually be transcribed especially this accureately. I got a second copy after my sight reading skills had improved somewhat and used it often enough for the pages to start to come loose. So, I bought a 3rd copy of it. The transcriptions are challenging to anyone's sightreading abilities, but the rewards of a little bit of effort are very satifying. The book is accurate giving great insight into Hendrix solos and choice of(often apparently jazz influenced)chord voicings. A must for any guitarist who wants to learn these songs.

The Harp Styles of Bob Dylan
The Harp Styles of Bob Dylan
From the harp point of view, this book is just a collection of honest transcriptions. If you want to play exactly like Bob Dylan, go ahead, buy this book.

But talking about the "harp styles", it seems that there is no style at all. It says nothing about how to use the harp support, or about any technique, embouchure, etc.

There is ONE single page talking about how Bob start playing rough and amateurish and, that after 5 months, he was a "competent" harp player (I don't agree). Then, the music sheets.

So, what are the "styles" the books claims to talk about? Almost no bends, lots of chords, lots of go-forth-and-back-notes. No harp teacher I know will teach his students to play like that. They will insist for months until their students learn to breathe and how to play single notes, with nice tone and vibrato.

This book may be nice for Dylan's fans, but certainly is not suitable for real harp players.

Day one: gums bleed a little.
Day two: hardly broke a little bleed on gums.
Day three: gums appears to be more resilient and less inflamed.
Day four: enjoying brushing teeth more usually than normally.
Day five: teeth are more whiter, gums feel more firm and pink than before
Two weeks later: comfortably enjoying my tooth brush brushing three times than twice a day. Noticed little nooks and crannies need no flossing necessary. Teeth look more pure & shine than ever before. Toothbrush feels still as new as if I opened the package, and still soft bristles.

Overall, this is by far the best nano brush I've ever experienced. The bleeding gums issue I once had have left my dentist both baffled and amazed. These brushes will indeed be on my favorites ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
All or Nothing: The Michigan Wolverines - Season 1
All or Nothing: The Michigan Wolverines - Season 1
In December 2014 ... when James Joseph Harbaugh (AKA Jarbaugh) "assumed the position" ... he told us "this is Michigan, there are no "turnarounds" at Michigan, there is greatness, a long tradition of it!" That was kinda weird since the team had gone 46 - 42 over the last 7 years but whatever.

Whatever was right because the minions went giddy!!! The "Corn & Blue" Kool-aide flowed endlessly!!! The prodigal son has returned ... the quintessential "Michigan Man" ... who surely produces Golden Easter Eggs from his "nether regions" ... will lead us to the Promised Land! Confidently they made "Harbs" the highest paid coach in all of football and then went over to Wall-Mart to celebrate (cha-ching). These were indeed the greatest of times in that cozy little hamlet of Ann Arbor.

But two and a half years and $27 million later things were not as pleasing in the village. Jarbaugh was 20 & 6 during his tenure ... a mortal 77% winning record ... and most importantly 1 & 3 against his rivals ... the Mighty Spartans and Merciless Buckeyes. Rumors even circulated that corrosion was found on the Golden Easter Eggs but that was never confirmed.

But Jarbaugh had a plan! In the summer of 2017 ... before camp ... he would go the head of the Holy Roman Catholic Church ... the Pope himself ... and present "His Eminence" with an authentic Michigan Wolverine football helmet made by Riddell. Surely that would make things right in the land of the Wall-mart Wolvies! It was a bold and arrogant plan!

Alas Jarbaugh had made a horrendous assumption ... he presumed that the Pope not only liked American football but Michigan football in particular. Stupid Jarbaugh!!! The guy is from South American, nobody in South American likes American football!

It's since been confirmed that the helmet was sold on Ebay for $39.99 ... Buy It Now ... just three days later! Jarbaugh never learned of this "Papal Smack Down" and broke camp in the fall of 2017 adopting the "All or Nothing" mantra.

Clearly the Pope has a sense of humor as Michigan won their first four games of the season and was ranked #7 when they hosted unranked Michigan State. Surely Jarabaugh's time had come to deliver on that $27 million cash cow. The minions held their Golden Easter Eggs to the heavens! But fate is a fickle mistress and she controls the storm clouds, and once again "Little Brother" had "Big Sister" right where they wanted and handed the "Arrogant Ones" a 10 to 14 loss! Wow, considering "Little Brother" has beat "Big Sister" 8 of the last 10 games you can imagine that the "Big House" had once again become the world's largest vomitorum!

Jarabaugh had once again been exposed and the rains kept coming as Michigan went on to lose to Penn State and Wisconsin and once again to those "Nasty Buckeyes" in that fall of 2017 ... leaving Jarabaugh with no conference titles in three years and a stunning record of 1 & 5 against his rivals! Obviously the golden Easter Eggs had become corroded copper pennies!

But wait there's more! The Big Ten would send 8 teams to bowl games that holiday season, and the 8 & 4 Wolverettes ... because of their "brand" ... were slotted into a New Year's Day appearance against an unranked South Carolina team. Talk about a layup ... yet once again the Pope had the last laugh as the feisty Gamecocks took the "Arrogant Ashes" behind the woodshed for some old school dis'plin!

The Big Ten went 7 & 1 in bowl games that year ... a feat that has never been done before. But that long tradition of "greatness" that Jarbaugh talked about in December of 2014 ... it was nowhere to be found! Pride does indeed come before the fall.

So ya, sign me up for 353 minutes of Jarabaugh in his 3rd glorious season (61.5% winning record). Sign me up for 10 episodes of the "Quintessential Michigan Man" showing the world he is the most over paid coach in all of college sports!!! Let's hope those scenes with the Pope and John O'Korn made the cut. GO GREEN ... GO BUCKS!

Henry Thoreau: A Life of the Mind
Henry Thoreau: A Life of the Mind
Great book for someone interested in Thoreau. It starts with his college years, so unfortunately nothing of his childhood is included. It is pretty long, took me a few months to get through it all. It does have the benefit of short chapters. However, if you aren't fully committed to the time needed to devour this one, I would recommend "Henry Thoreau As Remembered By A Young Friend" By Edward Waldo Emerson. Much shorter (maybe 50 pages total?), it gives a little bit of an overview of Thoreau's life and the significance it had/has. Ralph Waldo Emerson also wrote a 12 page essay about Thoreau that could be valuable.

There is a lot in this book about what he read and what he was interested in throughout the book. It's good because Thoreau was a big time reader. After reading this book I really want to follow up and read Goethe's "Italian Journey", The Laws of Manu, Thomas Carlyle's "On Heroes and Hero Worship", Edwin Arnold's "The Light of Asia", Melville's "Typee" and find out what about Kant influenced the transcendentalist movement.

Thoreau was certainly an intentional individual if there was one, another biographer gave the subtitle to his biography "the man who did what he wanted" and this was the case. He spent a good part of his life walking 4 hours a day, turned down a successful pencil making business, read in multiple languages. Of course he also lived almost self-sufficiently in the woods for two years. Because of his intentionality and disdain for the common society of his day he became quite the interesting self-developed individual.

I think this book redefined the idea of wildness for me. I have always wondered what about the ocean, or fire compels us to look at it. I think Thoreau would say it is the wildness of it. I think I have also seen this in my own travels, the further out, more natural a place is, the more I feel the mystery of it, the more I am compelled by it. I think it is that those places have stayed wild. It is not tamed.

Thoreau and most of the other transcendentalists also lived his life a bit in response to the Puritanical Calvinism of his day. Reading that and comparing it with my own experience gave me a lot of thoughts about the common trends throughout history. There was an openness to truth and to human nature that was pretty different from the people of his time. They were primarily interested in production, and choosing "repose" over "truth" as Emerson said. Thoreau wanted truth. He wanted to confront the essential facts of life so that when it came time for him to die he would not discover that he had not lived. Me too.

Thank you Robert Richardson for a well-written (and Barry Moser for the design!!) book. Thank you Thoreau for a life well-lived.

Lucky Panther.
Nora Roberts Mystery Box Set: An Anthology
Nora Roberts Mystery Box Set: An Anthology
Right up front, I’m going to confess that I am not addicted in any way, shape or form to romance stories. To keep my interest, they need to have something extra. Nora Roberts seems to have had me in mind when writing these stories. They’re mysteries not so different from the cozy Hallmark stories my wife and I watch time and again. But, with a twist: The romance aspect is more enticing in these books than in any Hallmark story!

THE WRITING: Great flow and solid editing.

POV: Third person.

BLUSH FACTOR: No profanities, but you’re likely to blush while reading some of the mental images your mind conjures up while reading the romantic forays the writer slips in here and there. At least, they got me picturing happy times while younger…

EXCERPT:

‘…She’d lost time. Hours, days, weeks, it hadn’t mattered. But now she was alone, and it was time for reality again.

They’d exhausted each other, depleted each other and fed each other. She hadn’t known there could be anything like the night they’d shared. Nothing real had ever been so exciting, so wild or desperate. Yet it had been very real. Her body bore the marks his hands had made while he’d been lost in passion. His taste still lingered on her tongue, his scent on her skin. It had been real, but it hadn’t been reality. Reality was now, when she had to face the morning.

What she’d given, she’d given freely. She would have no regrets there. If she’d broken one of her own rules, she’d done so consciously and with deliberation. Not coolly, perhaps, but not carelessly. Neither could she be careless now. The night was over.

Because there was nothing else, A.J. picked his robe up off the floor and slipped into it. The important thing was not to be foolish, but mature. She wouldn’t cuddle and cling and pretend there had been anything more between them than sex. One night of passion and mutual need.

She turned her cheek into the collar of the robe and let it linger there for a moment where his scent had permeated the cloth. Then, securing the belt, she walked out of the bedroom and down the stairs.

The living room was in shadows, but the first tongues of light filtered through the wide glass windows. David stood there, looking out, while a fire, freshly kindled, crackled beside him. A.J. felt the distance between them was like a crater, deep, wide and jagged. It took her too long to remind herself that was what she’d expected and wanted. Rather than speak, she walked the rest of the way down the stairs and waited.

“I had the place built with this window facing east so I could watch the sun rise.” He lifted a cigarette and drew deep so

Roberts, Nora. Nora Roberts Mystery Box Set: An Anthology (Kindle Locations 1999-2015). Silhouette. Kindle Edition.

BOTTOM LINE

Although the writing is NOT award-winning caliber, it is solid and fun reading. Certainly, if you enjoy mysteries, or romances, this box set for less than three bucks is a must-buy fun collection to read any time of year.

Four stars out of five, because 800 pages, give or take, on Kindle for less than $3 is a bargain not to be missed. I’m rating based on the combination of four books of solid writing and editing and the total price of just $2.99. Avid reader that I am, I cannot justify not purchasing these books. Some will LOVE these, others may DESPISE them, but I certainly enjoyed the escape.

I am striving to produce reviews that help you find books that you want, or avoid books that you wish to avoid. With your help, my improvement will help you and me improve book reviews on Amazon. Together, you and I can build a great customer review process that helps everybody. Will you join me? It is people such as you who have helped me improve over the years.

Bowdrie's Law: Stories
Bowdrie's Law: Stories
As an enthusiastic reader of various kinds (Science, philosophy, music, history, detective stories, mysteries, art, spy, mysteries and westerns) of books and topics, one of my favorite western story writers is Louis L’Amour. In fact, I have read many of his novels and short story collections. I just finished reading this fantastic collection (Bowdrie’s Law: a collection of short stories and historical notes by Louis L’Amour) of action packed western stories and loved them.

This collection focuses on the many cases involving Chick Bowdrie, Texas Ranger. It also includes some interesting and fascinating historical notes about the old west. This collection was a pure joy to read and if you’re a fan of well-written western tales this is a book you will want to read.

Selections in this book include the following historical notes and short stories: McNelly knows a Ranger, historical note: John Coffee Hays, Texas Ranger, where buzzards fly, case closed-no prisoners, the buffalo wallow fight, down Sonora way, Fort Griffin, the road to Casa Piedras, John Ringo, a Ranger rides to town, Horsehead crossing, Doan’s store, the outlaws of Popular Creek, Rain on the mountain fork, Espantosa Lake and strange pursuit.

If you like western theme stories you will love this collection.

Being Me (Inside Out Series Book 2)
Being Me (Inside Out Series Book 2)
*This book is best read in order with 'If I Were You' and Rebecca's Lost Journals 1-4! They all flow together and it makes 'Being Me' a totally explosive read!* I wrote my original review months ago and I had tears in my eyes when I wrote this review. I reread `Being Me' again and I had tears in my eyes all over again. I honestly do not know who they are for: Chris, Sara, Rebecca, Mark, Chris and Sara and/or Rebecca and her "Master." So, so, so much is revealed in this book and it has left me raw as it has the characters in the story. I loved every word in this book! I had so many emotions throughout the book but it was the last four words that got to me! The character's personalities and emotions really come out in this story, what makes them unique really comes through.

`Being Me' is a passionate, emotional ride and it left me fervently wanting more. I could not put this book down! I had a roller coaster of emotions, one moment I was so happy that finally Sara stopped running and putting walls up the next I was yelling in my head at her to STOP.....

So many of the questions from 'If I Were You,' Rebecca's journals and this book are uncovered. I did not know if they would be answered in this book and then BAM, questions are answered. By the end `Being Me', there is a whole new set of questions we are left with and I hope Sara gets the happily ever after she deserves!

The beginning of the book started where 'If I Were You' ended... in the dark storage unit. That drama is resolved in this book and it is not what I expected at all! I was completely SHOCKED by this turn of events that was uncovered by Blake Walker! Thank you Chris for having sexy friends!*

Sara finally, admitted all her demons to Chris and stood up for herself to Mark. Her strength in this book is AMAZING! And Chris... The guy needs to cut himself some slack and allow himself to be loved by an amazing women that loves him. He is an amazing man. Giving tons of money for his cancer charity. I just want to hug his pain away and I think Sara does too, but will she every fully listen to Chris?!?!

We find out about Rebecca, her "Master's" identity, and what has happened with her. A lot of information on Mark is revealed and he is so honest with Sara when she finally gets the "balls" to ask him questions that she wants answered. Will Sara asking these questions and running to Mark lead her to the same place where Rebecca is? I really do not know how I feel about Mark. Ugh! He can be so nice one moment and so rude the next. Alpha men!!

Even though a lot of the questions from `If I Were You' have answers, I believe there will a lot more questions that will come from those answers. I think these answers are just the tip of the iceberg!

There is HUGE revelations about Chris and Sara's relationship and this is where this book ends. If 'Revealing Us' is anything like this one, it is going to be on fire! I guess we will see what Sara decides to do in the next book. I honestly think she is done letting her past dictate her life and she will go after what she wants. ~ Just my two cents!

I absolutely LOVE this quote from Sara, "I've always known we were two puzzle pieces that fit together in a hollow that is our pain. There was a time when I was certain we were too damaged not to destroy each other. Now I think we are saving each other." ~Lisa Renee Jones, Being Me

I hope those feelings carry over.... I am ready for Revealing Us! September is so far away! There is soooo much I want to say but I WILL NOT ruin it for anyone. I would buy this book IMMEDIATELY if you haven't already!!

*I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest opinion. This is my opinion, my thoughts, my words. Also, I purchased the book as well. It's that OH EM Gee! :)

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2016 Edition) [Includes Digital Download] [Blu-ray] [Region Free]
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2016 Edition) [Includes Digital Download] [Blu-ray] [Region Free]
At the release of the second Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, J K Rowling received again success from readers. But also hostile reaction from others. People shocked by the violent premise of a Monster released from a Secret location hidden within Hogwarts. With powers capable of cursing all Muggles who study at the wizard school. A creature that also killed one of those students. Storyline that shocked much a reader’s mother who wrote to the author; expressing her contempt for such a terrifying novel, ordering the author to write more appropriate stories afterward or else she’d sent other reproaches. To which Jo, offended by the remark, wrote back to the mother “Dear Mrs****, Don’t read the rest of the series. Sincerely, J K Rowling”.

Even some readers and critics accused the book of being weaker from the other novels and too similar to the first novel. An opinion I disagree with as it is instead a crucial pillar in the saga. Like all the others. For this one shatters the utopian view readers/Harry have had of the wizard world in Philosopher’s Stone. Exposing in this novel the racism pure-blood wizards have for Muggle-born wizards. Conflict which is the series’ main topic. The denunciation of prejudices/racism people have toward others that integrate their communities.

And this is what this adaptation of Chamber of Secrets succeeds so well in presenting. Alongside a much richer vision of the wizard world; alongside a Harry Potter getting used to this community. Which the video game for computer succeeded as well. Making this portion of the saga among my favourites. For its Mystery, where we deal with a main plotline and not episodic moments as in Philosopher’s Stone. For its excellent revelations. For Gilderoy Lockhart’s personality, who is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher. And for introducing major details that would be revealed in others books like Prisoner of Azkaban and Half-Blood Prince.

Now in this story, we have, in its director’s Cut, almost three hours of movie footage from Chris Columbus. Whom I felt really upped the bar from the first episode. Respecting the violence in the story, even making it more explicit for some sequences. Which could scare younger viewers (four to seven years old), but it is quite normal as the Harry Potter series has always been meant for much older audiences. So parents should take time to know if their kids can take the violence in this film.

A darkness closer to what Columbus did at the start of his career with his horror film Gremlins. A 1980s success that still wows audiences today. So with this film, Chris proves he is the right man for this adventure. And I still think that even though he might not be the most cinematographical or artistic filmmaker, his respect for the story and for not taking for granted that all viewers already know the novel is admirable. Indeed, anybody who has not read the novel can understand what is going on and what the story is all about. Which some directors of movie adaptations might forget; and which I shall speak of very soon for my review of Prisoner of Azkaban.

Regarding its cast, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have upped their performances. Especially Daniel, whom I felt was more comfortable filming this production than in Philosopher’s Stone. Which is also good because were he too experienced, then the confidence would have make it less plausible for him to be a Candide new figure within the wizard community. So the experience Daniel developed in the first movie makes him more ready to affront the obstacles Harry faces in Chamber of Secrets. Expressing really well the frustration of being branded as a possible suspect behind the incidents afflicting Hogwarts during this 1992-1993 year. Furthermore, fans of Julian Glover, whom I met at Montreal Comiccon 2018, should check out his performance in the film. His work in it is for a single scene, but so excellent.

In the visuals, Stuart Craig offers again stunning production design, such as an impressive Chamber of Secrets, and a scary KnockTurn Alley, location that shall have much importance in the future Harry Potter episodes. But the real improvement is in the special effects. Indeed, the Computer effects are more fleshed out than in Philosopher’s Stone, especially for the Quidditch match as the flying and speed in it is more furious and dangerous. And the monster behind the Chamber of Secrets is quite an impressive force of nature.

From John Williams, what an incredible soundtrack. Each tune perfect for their scenes. Especially during the Chamber showdown, but also for Gilderoy Lockhart, whose narcissism is recognisable in the music notes. As for the main tune of The Chamber of Secrets, it captures what is going on. A creature creeping around the school ready to attack innocent people.

In sum, out of the Harry Potter films I saw, this one is my favourite chapter. For its excellent story, acting, production art, and incredible atmosphere. Which I loved so much I saw the movie twice in cinemas. Rare thing for me as I usually prefer to see them there only once to not lose their magic. But for this one, I got to discover new details in this story. Another worthy addition in the British cinema culture.

Westlake Art Starry Night Castle Night Boats Wall Art Print Van Gogh Magical Merchandise Modern Abstract Artwork for Home Room Decor - Unframed (12x18 Inch)
I bought this for my brother who is a huge Harry Potter fan. The print is just that: a print. It came rolled in a tube covered with plastic. I had my wife frame it to protect it. *It does not come with a frame as it is just the printed image*

The print is beautiful and did not smudge in the small amount of handling that we did with it. I was a bit skeptical of the quality for the price, but the print blew me away. The size was just as expected and fit into a 13x19 frame with matting.
The Stainless Steel Rat Returns
The Stainless Steel Rat Returns
I'm going to have to spend this comment taking apart the idiot and dullard of a professional book reviewer at Publisher's Weekly who tried unfairly to paint Harrison as a racist in his public review. It seems to be removed here But I'll post here anyway as I did at Barnes and Noble.
This is a bit spoilerish, just a warning...............

As he hasn't read the series much less Harrison's background from WWII where he worked with black soldiers as a Sgt. while their white jackass Officers were always giving them crap and trying to get them written up or jailed. Harrison wrote a long time ago about his experience of this, and how it was about time the day black soldiers got their equal rights and were desegregated in the military back in the late 40s when he was stationed in the south at a training base. Harrison has never been a racist.
The Reviewer quotes the one sentence where jim remarks:
> Jim (himself quite pink) declares that the different skin colors "should
> have been bred out centuries ago."

Firstly Jim is not pink. His race is never mentioned in the books, though he is generally portrayed as a white guy by artists on some covers and the comic book by creative license alone. Harrison (and he has said this before himself) always tried to keep race specifically vague for the main characters in his Rat books so that any reader identifies with them.
Jim mentioned that racial differences on the same planet and same continent were odd to him BECAUSE in his world (this series) humans had colonized the galaxy thousands of years ago. With an end to racial bigotry in THEIR modern social culture anyone would naturally be likely to marry anyone else regardless of race, so after thousands of years of mixed breeding everyone is just a standard light brown color- why this color? It was predicted by scientists back in the 80s that that was what people would look like if all the races mixed out of existence. The result would be sort of brown with slightly asian eyes. Harrison went with this hypothesis, he WASN'T saying that Jim is this certain color so it is the best some how.

Secondly, if you have read any number of Harrison's books, you'll know he always paints country folk as being ignorant bumpkins. He seems to think this is funny, I don't know...
Same with those on planets that lost their technology. They are always ignorant dullards in need of schooling and galactic contact.

Except for the Grey Men they faced in the third book. The inhabitance of a lost forgotten iceplanet had evolved separate from the rest of the human race, were very strong and hyper intelligent to the point of telepathy. He only beat their scheme to subvert the normal humans (who they resented for forgetting about them while they suffered in their cold mining colony) by a bit of trickery and misdirection playing on their nihilistic paranoia.

The reviewer also writes:
> the green-skinned, shiftless, slow-witted majority oppresses the
> smarter, slower-breeding, pink-skinned minority

I didn't see the greens being any more shiftless than the LIGHT BROWN humans, or any more slow witted than the shipwrecked humans who were also savage bumpkins. Again its like the reviewer is trying here to compare this story to black-white prejudice and accuse Harrison of being an earth-race bigot.

The greens, being a mutated species had a non-human hive like caste system where the majority were like drones and didn't need to be bread to be smart, they were bred to do menial labor and could be replaced easily. The minority in the greens were bred to lead and so had higher intelligence bred into them. This was a self inflicted culture which had nothing to do with the normal humans. There was no use of comparison.

When Jim landed the smart leader greens colored themselves different human colors to be most pleasing to who ever they might be talking to. They knew of the different colors humans might come in, because different groups of humans had landed there long ago before people fully integrated.
And the remaining normal humans all interbred giving the "nice healthy brown" look that Jim saw on the real humans that would be normal in Jim's homogenized universe.

Too bad many real humans these days appear no smarter than the 'green mutant majority', of whom the writer for the publishers weekly review is obviously a member, so maybe Harrison really should have written this back in the 60s as the reviewer suggested, before the rise of the cult of the reactionary and the dumbing down of the American people started.

HARRY POTTER Official Licensed Jewelry Themed Necklaces (Platform 9 3/4)
Extremely disappointed in the quality. I bought this for my 25 year old girlfriend who loves Harry Potter and upon receiving the necklace it was apparent that it was made for small kids who would not complain about the quality. If you wore this everyday without taking it off it would not last a week.

I've had it a year now and only purchased 3 day passes worth because it's always SO Slow. I'm surprised they even charge for this slow of service and it doesn't matter where we're at. We can be someplace really busy or with virtually no-one around and cell towers in site and you still never get more that 1 Mbps download speeds, usually it's half of that. As I type this I'm within site of DFW airport and getting 490Kbps speeds.
Interesting that I can turn on my cell phone hotspot right next to this device and get 5 to 6 times faster Internet that way. The other issue is how close you need to be to connect at all to this device. If you're 50 feet away you might as well forget it. It's built in wifi signal is weak and, I tried connecting this to our portable router to improve the signal and this device broadcasts on a radio signal our modem can't connect to... must be 5g wifi only?
Last issue, half of the time we can't even get the device to communicate with its Home to activate so we spend more time messing with it than using it.
If you're US only, skip this thing and just go buy a real hotspot.

Heritage Pizza Stone - Pizza & Bread Baking Stones For Gas Grill, Oven Baking - Black Ceramic Pan, Stainless, No-Smoke - Wheel Pizza Cutter - Housewarming Gifts
The very future of humanity depends on Amanda Hamilton reading this review! If Amanda Hamilton doesn't see this review, and therefore doesn't order a Heritage Pizza Stone, the machines will take over and subjugate us all!

I bought this pizza stone because my delightful and lovely domestic partner in crime is neither graceful nor particularly sober most of the time.

She had a pizza stone prior to this world changing Heritage Pizza Stone...and she tried to pull it out of the oven with her hand. Broken porcelain, roasted flesh, chaos, and very confused dogs now in peril at the delicious smells wafting from the molten fragments on the kitchen floor.

The Heritage Pizza Stone arrived intact. We took it on its maiden voyage last night, and as advertised, it got hot in the oven and magically suspended a frozen California Pizza Kitchen pizza above the ominous heating elements below.

The pizza came out with a delightfully crispy crust, just like we like it. It also came out without toppings because the not so graceful, rarely sober domestic partner in crime decided that instead of trying to pick up porcelain hotter than the sun with her bare hands, she would use a large spatula to pull the pizza out of the over. Said spatula found its way under cheese, and above crust. INSTANT LOW CARB DINNER FOR THE WIN!

Amanda Hamilton should be appropriately inspired by this glowing review and this should set in motion a series of world saving events leading to a crispy crusted pizza Utopia for all of us.
Caydo 100 Pcs White Balloon Sticks Holders with Cups for Wedding Party Decor
Caydo 100 Pcs White Balloon Sticks Holders with Cups for Wedding Party Decor
As previous reviewers mentioned the holder comes off very easily from the stick. But having read that prior to purchasing this product I crazy glued every single one prior to using! This kept them from coming off.
I wish that this wouldnt be an issue, or that they'd be cheaper to cover the crazy glue cost.
Also the sticks aren't super thick so they bend easily. This of course cannot be avoided. It's like a heavy duty straw.
However it did the job, average product.

I'm usually a UK women's 3 and was debating whether to get these in 3 or 3.5. Figured I'd order them in 3.5 and return if they ended up being too big but they fit perfectly with and without snug socks! So happy with my new shoes. Saved tons by getting the junior version too.

7 Pack EGV 3pcs Screen Protector & 3pcs Camera Lens Protector & 1pcs Installation Tray Compatible with iPhone 12 Pro Max 6.7-inch, Tempered Glass, HD Clear, Case Friendly
the product is excellent and can not fault this at all. its a perfect fit and when in place and applying the screen protector it is not that bad and very easy to use, it also doesn't mark the iPhone casing around the edges. this is far the best screen protector I have brought with the camera protection lens too. I have taken a photo with the lens attached and it doe's not blur the photo with to without the flash on. as I have used others and it blurs the photos , but this one by far is the best product to buy.3

WA Portman Rotary Cutter and Quilting Ruler Set 45mm Rotary Fabric Cutter with 5 Replacement Blades and 6x24 Inch Quilting Ruler Combo for Crafting Quilting and Sewing Enthusiasts
I love this little kit! I was on the hunt for replacement rotary blades, and this set was suggested. The blades are great quality, these suckers are SHARP. One has lasted over a month of sewing daily and it's not even skipping yet (other brands have skipped within a week, and were so disappointing- not these!). I also was in need of a quilting ruler, and the price made this combination very worth it (and it's a super durable acrylic). This and a healing mat would be a great gift to an beginner sewer looking to expand. Highly recommend!
