Elon Musk: 50 Life and Business Lessons from Elon Musk
Elon Musk: 50 Life and Business Lessons from Elon Musk
Many people, including myself, primarily associate Elon Musk with the more modern news about his ventures – such as with SpaceX; but I found out recently that he has been involved with many internet start-ups that have gone on to be huge successes, and wanting to find out more about these previous ventures and gain further insight to his success is what led me to this book.

I find George Ilian’s books about entrepreneurs to be especially good dude to the layout: in this, the author offers a great deal of insight about Elon Musk in a biographical way, and then he extracts concise and strong lessons from what is discussed, which can then be applied to many different endeavors. I'll definitely be keeping this book in mind in the future.
The Making of Donald Trump
The Making of Donald Trump
Mr. Johnston's book is not a biography. It's more of a rap sheet. Granted, the author is a well-respected, multiple award-winning investigative reporter who has followed Trump's antics since 1988. Mr. Johnston's business and tax knowledge makes him uniquely adept at covering our forty-fifth president. He acknowledges that he has an ego that is probably comparable to Trump which only became apparent to me in this third book I've read by the author. I highly recommend his other works; 'Perfectly Legal' and 'Free Lunch.' They ought to rightly raise your blood pressure to unhealthy levels. Mr. Johnston writes in a clear easy-to-understand style about Trump's many, many, maaaaaaaaany shenanigans prior to him moving into the White House or running for president in 2016.

'The Making of Donald Trump' is a quick read. It focuses on his business dealings and self puffery. The book does not cover his multiple affairs, business dealings with Russia, or his relationship with his wives and family. What the work does serve up is a highly unethical, pathological liar who is motivated by greed and public acclamation. It shows Trump has absolutely no qualms of scamming people and causing them deep pain if it will increase his wealth. The moldy bananas sitting on my kitchen counter are more civic-minded than President Foghorn Leghorn has ever been during his entire life. 'The Making of Donald Trump' covers such events as Trump University, his casinos, his tax dodging, links with mafia members, his use of lawyers to bully, how he caused the destruction of the nascent United States Football League, his amorphous net worth, fake awards he has given himself, naturally his golf courses, and the huckster's perpetual myth maintenance. Sadly, Mr. Johnston only touches a bit on Trump's relationship with the evil (and, yes, I do mean evil) Roy Cohn. The author frequently uses actual Trump recorded gobbledygook to support his evidence as well as to highlight the subject matter's less-than-average intelligence. The book is also heavily annotated and does not include any photos.

As I write this review, it is May 2018. President Foghorn Leghorn's approval rating hovers around the thirties which means his base is loyal despite all the horrible, coarse, and chaotic stuff he has done since taking office. If any of his avid followers read 'The Making of Donald Trump,' they will very likely dismiss it as a liberal hack job. They're flat-out wrong, but you'd have an easier time convincing them chocolate milk comes only from brown cows than believing Mr. Johnston's writing. The book is for readers that want to know more about our current president's ethics. This information was always out there but it nice to see it collected in one book.

Sticks on outside...would like it to stick on INSIDE to people cannot remove. Head is way too big...would be better slightly smaller (slightly!) Barely fit the window on my Honda CRV. Getting LOTS of "Thumps up!" here in Florida! No complaints, just people kidding me. If they don't like it, they can bite me, and are probably talking behind my back, but thus far a LOT of people LOVE IT!
Bob Dylan Live at Carnegie Hall 1963
Bob Dylan Live at Carnegie Hall 1963
Wow - what a great concert from this early stage of Bob's career! The only albums he had out at this time were his self-title debut, "Freehweelin'" and "The Times They Are A-Changin'", the latter being where all but one of these songs emanate from - except for "Lay Down Your Weary Tune", which was an outtake of that album, but available on "Biograph" and "Side Tracks".
Now for the concert as a whole - it was done on October 26th, 1963, four months before "The Times They Are A Changin'" was released - so these were brand new songs to this audience, but judging from their exuberant reaction, they may have heard "With God On Our Side" somewhere before.
I love when Bob tells the audience at the beginning of "Boots Of Spanish Leather", "this is a... if you can't get what you want, you have to settle for less kind of a song" Priceless stuff!!
As far as the audio goes it sounds fantastic!! Columbia outdid themselves again in the remastering dept.!! Only 6 songs on this altogether but still long enough to be considered an "Album" instead of an EP, clocking in at around 32 minutes altogether... I believe "Who Killed Davey Moore" from Bootleg 1 & "Tomorrow Is A Long Time" from Greatest Hits 2 were part of this concert as well... seems like "Talking John Birch Blues" from Bootleg 1 may have been part of this show too?? Will have to look that up again. Also, to my knowledge, this is the only place to find live versions of "Ballad Of Hollis Brown", "North Country Blues", "Boots Of Spanish Leather", and "Lay Down Your Weary Tune" on an official (albeit promotional) CD release.

I give this 5 stars - any Dylan fan will have tons of fun listening to this - hopefully they'll release the whole concert on a Bootleg Series sometime in the future!
Subterranean Homesick Blues: A Tribute To Bob Dylan's 'Bringi
Subterranean Homesick Blues: A Tribute To Bob Dylan's 'Bringi
Subterranean Homesick Blues is an astounding record. After having listened to the decent "Infidels" it is very nice to listen to Dylan at his best. Subterranean Homesick Blues (the title is just a tad long?) is a brilliant record. It even has a short poem/story written by Dylan himself. I can not say that I totally understand what he is writing about. The book-let itself is a sorry story. Poorly shot photos that look like they have been done by friends. No lyrics in the book-let and general feeling that it was done with less then a professional touch. Which is a shame since the music is grand. Songs such as Subterranean Homesick Blues, On the Road Again makes this truly a classic!
From Another World: A Tribute To Bob Dylan / Var
From Another World: A Tribute To Bob Dylan / Var
Bought this because I heard the brilliant version of I Want You by Burma Orchestra Saing Waing but apart from that track (5 stars) and Pura Das Baul's Mr Tamourine Man (4 stars) and Musicians of The Nile's version of Tangled Up In Blue (4 stars) I found nothing of interest in the remaining ten tracks. Most of the songs were unidentifiable, didn't even recognize the tunes in some cases. Looking at it as straight forward world music CD, it has it's moments and I'm loathe to criticise the bands included here who were given a difficult task. I know Buda Records and they have some terrific stuff in their catalogue and they're dedicated people but for once they just had a good idea that failed for me. Check it out before you buy.
Aloe Cadabra Organic Lube, Pina Colada, 2.5 Ounce
Aloe Cadabra Organic Lube, Pina Colada, 2.5 Ounce
1. The smell and taste isn't bad at all, i just don't believe it is similar to a pina colada. It's more like a fruit custard desert, which tastes great for me but maybe not for everyone.

2. the price is a bit high for the small container so that's something to consider if you don't want to spend a lot on lube.

3. I Don't think iv'e ever seen a more friendly Lube, being edible, vegan and free of a lot of harmful ingredients that are used in other lubes.
This also means you can practically use this lube for anything you like, even claiming to be beneficial for The Vagina in every way.

4. Admittedly, The performance of this lube isn't great (At least for this specific flavor). I have not used this during sex yet however while using on myself, i find it have to re-apply to sustain the moisture. ALTHOUGH when i tried mixing in a small amount of coconut oil, It preforms amazingly. which is kind of obvious, seeing how well Coconut oil preforms as a lube on it's own.

I'm Also sure if you use with with vaginal sex where the vagina is already wet, you will have no problem at all!

CONCLUSION:
The Smell and taste is great to me however doesn't resemble pina colada so I would recommend trying a different flavor if you aren't sure.

Price is quite high for the amount

Safest Lube iv'e ever seen or used

lacking performance on it's own however is amazing with a little bit of coconut oil and most likely Vaginal moisture.

Personally I will use this primarily for the smell, taste, and how safe/beneficial it is. If you're only after long performance, this isn't for you.

I cannot imagine getting a better phone thrn this based on price and value. It actually functiond as well, if not better thrn my $900 name brand phone. Right out of the box Id NEVER consider using a phone without a case. This one feels like it already has a case based on how well made and rugged it is. It has a 4GB ram +32GBrom menory and you can put in an SD card to increase the memory to 128gb. It downloads apps and streams movies QUICKLY and runs really well. If you put in an sd card the phone takes you through a few easy steps to confirm installation which "formats" the memory card.

The phone has a rechargeable battery that is 8000mAh and it is hands down the best battery life Ive seen out of any phone or tablet Ive ever had. Despite me being on it literally all day it's never out of battery at the end of the day. It uses a type c charger and IS NOT QI enabled which is the only downside to this ohone in my opinion. It's IP68 Waterproof up to 30 min just make sure the silicone cocers are secure over the charging port and TF/SIM card slot. The camera is 12mp and it has a forward ans rear facing camera. It takes good pics and video but the auto focus is kind of funky sometimes and you have to tap the screen and mess with it a bit to get it to focus. It's slightly less effective then my name brand phone when it comes to focusing and there arent as many editing options (unless you download an editing app which isnt difficult to do).

Overall this is an amazing phone for the value. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality, durability and functionality of this phone and would recommend it to anyone!

Honor 8A (32GB) 6.09" HD+ Display, Dual SIM 4G LTE GSM Factory Unlocked Smartphone - International Version JAT-LX3 (Black)
The phone is a great budget phone. Excellent display. Fast enough for most users. So far the performance is great. My gripe is that ATT has blocked the new Hauwei international phones due to the federal accusations of certain company involvements. I have a 2018 US version of the Mate SE and love it. No problem when I put my sim card in. Switched right over. Now I do not know if you would have peoblems using your old sim card of the same size. We had to get another sim which may have been the problem. I do not know if you will encounter the same problem but just beware that ATT users may have a mobile data issue with this phone. Our ATT store worked around the problem but we lucked out finding a rep willing to work for us. If it had been an issue they were unwilling to fix then i would have returned and gotten a US version phone. ATT rep said the Hauwei phones have one of the best displays out there and i have to agree. My previous phone was Samsung Note 5 and these easily beat that screen.
GADEWAKE Womens Casual Color Block Long Sleeve Round Neck Pocket T Shirts Blouses Sweatshirts Tops
GADEWAKE Womens Casual Color Block Long Sleeve Round Neck Pocket T Shirts Blouses Sweatshirts Tops
I am 5’ 8” tall, weigh 135 pounds and wear a 34B. After looking over the size chart, I chose to order a size Small and I made the correct choice. Generally, with women’s long sleeve tops I order up a size to get the right fit in the arms and shoulders, but this looked to be loose fitting. I was looking for a long, loose fitting shirt and I am not disappointed. The sleeves are long enough so that I can even turn up the cuff. The length in back reaches down past my bottom and the front is only a little shorter, so it is perfect for wearing with leggings or skinny jeans. The material is thin and lightweight, like a T-shirt, but very soft and warm like a fine sweater. I appreciate that the pockets look good and are functional; a perfect place for my phone.

This item was designed and put together very well. I washed it in the machine on the gentle cycle in cold water and then dried it flat, as instructed. It did not take long to dry and was just as soft as before. I am pleased and impressed with this top; it looks and feels better than I had expected. I would buy it again and certainly recommend it to others.

800 PCs Glow Sticks Bulk Colorful Neon for Glowstick Party Favors, Glow in the Dark Necklace & Bracelet, Birthday Christmas Halloween Football Party Disco Supplies, 4th of July & Independent Day
These are great for little kids. My kid loves glow sticks because they mean he is staying up late to play with them in the dark. These are packaged in 6 tubes, so you don't have to worry about having hundreds rolling around all at once if you don't want. They also include the plastic connectors to make them longer to hold together in circles. These are shorter, so they work well as bracelets for kid sized wrists.
BIG Red Book on China: Chinese History, Culture and Revolution (China Series 4)
BIG Red Book on China: Chinese History, Culture and Revolution (China Series 4)
Having read Jeff's previous works on China, I wanted to get this one. This is an updated version of his earlier work, China is Communist, Dammit. What's unique about this book is the context of modern China, compared with Chinese history and culture. Brown makes the case that China is fundamentally different from the West in outlook, since it views itself as a whole, and has done so for at least 2500 years. Unlike Europe, which was fragmented for centuries until the EU, or the USA, which is only 270 years old, China was a huge united geographical entity, where Chinese people and especially the governments saw Chinese society as a whole. It is the collective well being of all which is the core of the Chinese psyche, vs Individualism, the dominant ideology of the West.

Because of this, the current Chinese government sees itself as an inheritor of Chinese culture, which operated under the "Mandate of Heaven". When a Chinese goverment, or Dynasty failed to provide for the wellbeing of all, the people would rise up and get rid of it. Knowing this, the Communist Party realizes both its responsibility to improve the lot of the Chinese people, or face their wrath. Indeed, having pulled China from being 'the sick man of Asia', with hundreds of millions in poverty, it's pulled hundreds of millions out of poverty and doubled life expectancy, and become the industrial engine of the world economy.

Aside from this unique understandpng, which the book gives in full historical context, the book has been praised by such notable journalists as Pepe Escobar, writer for Asia Times and numerous other publications, NOT controlled by the corrupted MSM; John Pilger, who has been reporting for 50 years, doing groundbreaking reportage of scandals in high places, such as the lies surrounding the Vietnam War. Also James Bradley, best selling author of The China Mirage: The Hidden History of American Disaster in Asia.

To have a book endorsed by such notable writers as these three, only underscores the importance of this book for anyone interested in an objective understanding based on facts of Chinese History, Chinese Culture, Chinese Communism and Chinese Society. Highly recommended.
National Lampoon's Barely Legal
National Lampoon's Barely Legal
I mean sure this movie was no titanic or anything that you'll see at an Emmy ceremony, however, I did like the actors, the story was good, and it had a lesson to be learned from it. That's not something you hear about many National Lampoon movies because most of them... Suck. But this one could was pretty decent and i actually felt it could've matched some of the American Pie movies.

Husband loved them at first, but after about a month and a half, of wearing and washing them, the bottoms started to wear extra thin and get holes. Expected the material to be more durable and last longer. Wasted money.
Captain America: Civil War Black Panther Costume Top and Mask
Captain America: Civil War Black Panther Costume Top and Mask
I gotta say, for the price it's not bad at all. The material of the shirt was thicker and better than I thought and the mask was sturdier that I thought as well. The shirt was a little too big and I'm a big guy (230lbs muscular). I called to get a large but they only had XL and "standard" (which was also more money). I asked the operator what standard was and she couldn't tell me. Also one sleeve was not hemmed and looked like someone cut it with a pair of sissors. If it wasn't for that I would not have returned it for a replacement. My son and daughter loved me in it. I'll probably use it next Halloween!
The Book Lover's Tale
The Book Lover's Tale
When we first meet Matt de Voy, he is about to relate the story of a murder he has committed, to a solicitor. Matt helps choose libraries for rich clients, while his wife Cecilia is an interior designer. Between them they create lifestyles and homes for the wealthy and Matt fits the image his clients expect - educated, bookish and handsome. Between them, they are a successful couple, but there are cracks in the marriage which cannot be repaired. Part of what attracted Cecilia to Matt was the fact he was a writer - however, after having one novel published, he never managed to write another. Cecilia's disapproving parents set them up with a home and helped her career, in which business Matt is now a partner. As far as their partnership goes though, work is the only place they really seem to cooperate or have anything in common.

Dissatisfied, Matt continues his life as a serial adulterer. He enjoys using literature to woo the wives he is working for - and, one imagines, enjoys being seen as more educated and sensitive than their husbands. When he first meets the Swanson's, he is immediately intrigued by the beautiful Claudia, while taking an instant dislike to her husband Jim. Jim works in Canary Wharf - he trades, he deals in money and business and banking. Matt, who collects first editions and wives, finds it incredible that the stunning wife can really love him and sets out to add her to his collection.

This book is the story of what happens over a sweltering summer in London, as Matt seems bent on the self destruction of his life and marriage. In some ways, the story is a sordid one - his attempts to make wives love him, while investing little of himself seems cruel and impossible. As he finds himself falling in love with Claudia, you are almost grateful that he is unable to hold himself aloof. However, from the start we know that the events of that summer lead to murder and the feeling of impending disaster hang over the book. It was a little hard, at times, to have sympathy for Matt, but his sheer arrogance could also be appealing. A well written, well crafted and enjoyable story and I will certainly go and discover this author's first book. This will appeal to all book lovers I think, who will understand the appeal of literature as a tool of seduction.

Dragon Ball (3-in-1 Edition), Vol. 8: Includes vols. 22, 23 & 24 (8)
A good continuation of the series not as much action in this book, a lot of hide and seek and preparations for things to come. However not as much going on in this book as the others. They also cut bits of Goku's training maybe to add to the mystique of the legendary Super Sayian to come later. This book is the Nemicican trip to the switcheroo. Then we also get 36 page cover gallery.
The House Husband (Bookshots Thrillers)
The House Husband (Bookshots Thrillers)
Summary:
Detective Teagan Beaumont has come back from maternity leave into a mess.  Her partner is hiding something, her husband is having issues adapting and, let's face it, she just doesn't want to leave her baby every day.  Then there are the murders.  Several families have come up murdered.  A mother that killed her children, husband and herself.  A well off family where the mother poisoned her family, then overdosed on pain killers.  The one that shakes her, though, is when it is another police  man's family.  It looked like the mother took a gun to her family and then herself.  But she knows this mother.  Nothing would have possessed her to do this.  Where do you loo for clues when nothing is as it seems?
At the same time W. Harold Poshen has the perfect life not far away.  He is the perfect father and house husband and loves his life.  Sometimes though, you just have to blow off a little steam.  And, really, can he help it when it makes him angry to see failing families?  All he wants is the perfect family.
My thoughts:
This was a good, fast read; though fairly predictable.  I did like Teagan, but it was harder to like the other characters as they were a bit underdeveloped for me.  I would be interested to see if Detective Teagan becomes a series, but as of yet this is a standalone novella.  The story line was interesting and engaging, and I found myself wrapped up in the mayhem.  I give it a three.

On the Adult Content Scale, I give it a six.  The violence gets pretty gruesome.
The Space Trilogy
The Space Trilogy
It might be said the art of great storytelling lies in the creative use of language to immerse the reader into a new and strange world. Or perhaps the compelling communication of a truth or worldview via a rich layer cake of personalities, relationships, conflicts, and epiphanies in a specific time and place. Through the modern myth of Perelandra, CS Lewis achieves both – taking us to a literally new and strange planet through a narrative of the battle for the soul of its first inhabitants.

Typically, far from it being a frivolous sci-fi escapade, I found myself face to face with existential questions: What is it to be human? How is our autonomy and our self-awareness tied up with our brokenness? Does true freedom to do right only come when we accept our lack of control? In the world that Ransom explores, his bewilderment is equaled only by his awe, and the latter seems to temper the former as he relinquishes the need to understand in the pursuit of the need to discover the meaning of his presence in the story. A lesson for us all. The joy of fantasy in literature is I suppose the anticipation of the unexpected as one abandons the assumptions that this game will play out by the usual rules: as a result I couldn’t help but be utterly immersed in his inner journey as I experienced the discovery of the reality as he does, through glimpses of good, evil, hope and despair.

Since the book of Revelation (and countless Jewish prophets before that) recorded a vision of a world liberated from the suffering and self-destructiveness of mankind, and pictured a world restored that resembles but transcends beyond measure the status quo we inhabit, writers have imagined ‘heaven’ with diverse metaphors and imagery drawn from what is in front of us. But creation stories can also reveal much about what an uncorrupted creation and humanity might look like. Imagining what could have been is rewarding in a different way to wishing what could be: the purity of a world with no memory of brokenness is not one we can experience, but the portrayal of the verdancy, vitality and purity of the Eden of Perelandra is transfixing and precious. Whilst the drama of Ransom’s fight to prevent the fall of its first people dominates the narrative – and captures the heart as the possibility of a fall from such grace appears - the great reward of the story is in the spiritual wisdom of the first female. In her perfect relationship to Maleldil, the creator spirit, we find lived examples of humility and obedience, and it is in her apparently naïve philosophy of living in the present without reflection or introspection that we find a beautiful portrayal of innate surrender to the good creator and provider that sustains and blesses in abundance.

The setting is vividly described paradises on huge islands of floating vegetation that follow the dramatic and unpredictable ocean surface. This ‘unfixed’ nature is a wonderful meditation on experiencing the waves of life big and small, and the need to submit to the sovereignty of the One that sends them. Only by doing so can we healthily engage in the mandate ‘to be fruitful and multiply’ and taking responsibilities of one’s own in the new creation.

This is classic Lewis allegory shining light into our darkened souls!

Amusingly, after all the outrageous adventuring of two books worth of narrative, its only in the final, most intriguing, chapter that Ransom gets overwhelmed – as the big reveal takes place and the broader picture of Maleldil’s work in the universe is explained, he starts to despair that the salvation and restoration of his fallen world might be a bit of a sideshow, cosmically speaking, because all these other worlds seem to glorify the creator more in their perfection. Amusing for its self-centeredness amongst such glory and otherness. But then came my highlight. The poetry. My bias over prose is laid bare. I wasn’t sure if it was my soul or the author’s I sensed rising with excitement as metaphor is laid over metaphor through the medium of the eldila speeches. The ‘eldila’, spirit-like creatures that live in these non-fallen places very visibly and audibly, are used to convey some of the book’s most poetic reflections on the meaning of creation and the presence of God within it as the story reaches its crescendo. Their beauty bears re-reading.

As the purpose of the created universe is revealed to be ‘The Great Dance’, the gathered spirits reflect on its nature. Searching for a Christian parallel, at first I thought perhaps they were to display the relationship of the Holy Trinity. Then I felt like the speeches were describing that biblical mystery of ‘the kingdom of heaven’, much like the parables of Jesus. There is much in common with the gushing emotion of the Psalms. Ultimately though, and ironically for such an articulate writer as CS Lewis, these beautiful vignettes (and perhaps the book as a whole) attempt to put into words something that transcends language: the mystery of Emmanuel, God with us, and not just with us but with everything else that may or may not be out there….

I tend to like the deeper colored, more graceful pictures ive seen. But i knew looking at it that it was going to b not as bright as modern day printing wud hv been and they just drew differently back then. But i got it bc i was purchasing an old classic and wanted to carry all that forward. A very nice book. Glad i got this original version!
Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things That Go
Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things That Go
This book has been a favorite of my kids' for many years. My oldest is 17 now, but he used to beg to read this book every night starting around 3 years old, and he'd get giddy about finding Goldbug on each page. He was really big into trucks and machinery, so it was the perfect book for him. Now my youngest son, age 6, asks to read it nightly and also loves finding Goldbug, but he's not so much into the trucks, etc., so he focuses more on Goldbug and the pig family. Even if he knows exactly where Goldbug is, he likes to pretend that he's hard to find, or sometimes he'll race through the book to show how fast he can find him. This is one of those books that has helped my kids want to get into more into books.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Clock Tower 75948 Build and Play Tower Set with Harry Potter Minifigures, Popular Harry Potter Gift and Playset with Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and more (922 Pieces)
Lego nerd and college student here. I did not get paid to write a review. This set is a wonderful addition to the Hogwarts Castle, and I highly recommend it. Here are my pros and cons.

Pros:
I love all of the figures. They are all exclusive to this set, with Madame Maxime having never appeared before as a figure. They are all wonderfully printed and feature detailed back printing. This version of Dumbledore is one of my favorites Lego has ever released. The clock tower is excellently detailed and features some really unique building techniques (for instance, the clock tower's hands are made by combining a Lego spanner and wench, and the ice tables have a mini-ice Hogwarts. It has a variety of play features, including having rotating platforms to simulate the figures waltzing. At 0.09 cents per piece for 922 pieces, this set has a good price per piece ratio (usually anything below .10 cents per piece is really good). The set connects really well with the rest of the Hogwarts castle.

Cons:
This set has too many stickers. Some of these can be really difficult to apply, and because of this building Dumbledore's office was a bit of a nightmare. I wish Lego had printed these parts. Also, both Madam Maxime and Hermione's dresses feature regular bricks as opposed to the specialized dress parts of Dumbledore and Fleur. This means that sometimes knocking them over will cause them to break in half a la Darth Maul. While I understand that making new molds for parts for Lego is expensive, this does slightly diminish the play value of these two figures in my opinion. Still, these gripes are minor and I cannot recommend this set enough.

Powstro Stamp Seal Sealing Wax kit, Retro Classic Vintage Seal Wax Stamp Seal Maker Stick Gift Box Set
I really love the whole thing ❤ Was shipped and delivered on time, was very easy to use (would be nice if it did come with instructions, but a quick YouTube search was just as effective!). Wax sealing really is as easy as expected, just more time consuming than originally thought (wax doesn't melt instantaneously ha).

The silver spoon doesn't get the blackness or the warping if you're patient and heat the spoon at a distance from the direct flame, DO NOT hold the spoon at the hottest part of the flame - that is what damages it.

All in all, awesome product, was super easy to use, made a fantastic gift. Would absolutely buy it again for myself. 👍🏻

PS: wax + rolled paper DOES NOT work well haha
Included a couple pictures of my gift set for my Harry Potter loving sister ❤

The Nightmare Man then works on Clyde's and Rani's nightmares and isolates Luke in his dark nightmare world...which frees The Nightmare Man to feed on everyone's nightmares...Even a party that is thrown for Luke by Clyde and Rani is haunted by The Nightmare Man..as he forces Luke into sleep..

They all are separated in The Nightmare Man's dark world..Rani having nightmare's of being a news reader and Clyde in a burger bar with a twisted version of Sarah Jane Smith herself...Luke having nightmare's pf Daleks..he is more than frightened....Mr Smith figures out The Nightmare Man is an alien from the Vishclar Saretti dimension....very dangerious and deadly...It is up to Sarah Jane Smith,K9 and Mr Smith to free Luke,Rani and Clyde from the nightmare world....before The Nightmare Man throws the world into one dark nightmare for him to feed on forever.

The story was excellent....so good...You get the feeling of fear from everyone..it jumps out of the pages at you...great scenes with Sarah Jane Smith and Luke at the start..great emotional writing..you feel for them both...The Nightmare Man himself...was very well written..you felt his evil and darkness and his lust for all nightmares to become real.

The end...just like the start...was excellent..(won't give it away)......Just like me you will really enjoy this book....I really recommend this to any Sarah Jane Adventures fan or Doctor Who fan....They won't be disappointed.
The Noble Collection Fantastic Beasts Niffler Plush
The Noble Collection Fantastic Beasts Niffler Plush
Bought this as a gift for my daughter who's a complete Potterhead. I saw some stuffed Nifflers at Walgreen's back around Christmas that looked very nice, were in cardboard boxes, but they were $25 as I recall and I thought that was a bit much for a stocking stuffer so I passed on them - in hindsight, that was a mistake and I don't even know who made those.

THIS PARTICULAR NIFFLER IS JUNK!!! I CANNOT UNDERSTAND ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS!! It's about 7" tall and comes without a box in a cheapo plastic bag. It's misshapen, so hopefully it will straighten out some, and the "coin" it's holding is nothing more than a thin piece of cardboard that's VERY POORLY printed, please see the photos. If this had been $5, I wouldn't be complaining, but I've literally gotten better stuffed animals than this out of claw machines before. I'll still give it to her, but for $20, this is an absolute RIP OFF!!

Shame on the Harry Potter franchise for letting this be the "official" stuffed Niffler, and if anyone knows who makes the nicer one in the cardboard box, please let me know so I can get one! Thanks!

4 stars because the Nearly headless Nick was regrettably fully headless. Quite the bummer for a family gift exchange for a teenager Christmas gift. Thankfully amazon did a fast turn around on the return and replacement and I was able to set it to ship direct to the recipient to receive at their home out of state within a couple days. She says all is well and he is nearly headless again.
Harry Potter Gryffindor & Slytherin Crest 2-pack Adult Socks
Harry Potter Gryffindor & Slytherin Crest 2-pack Adult Socks
These "adult" socks will only fit a young female with a small foot. These are in no way "adult sized" socks. I've already opened them and tried to wear them so I can't return them. So if your shoe size is anything greater than say a women's size 6, don't buy these socks.
Bharat Katha - India Story
Bharat Katha - India Story
This is only an eight minute clip, but it is worth watching if you enjoy Indian culture. The puppeteer is a simple man, an artist, who shares some of his life philosophy before showing us a small part of his puppet show. There's a couple of young people who provide the musical background for the puppet show and one of them sings. Unfortunately, the song was not translated and put into the subtitles, but the camera work and the other subtitles were fine. Again, if you love Indian culture and the Indian people, you'll enjoy this eight minutes and wish it were longer.

Something that other reviews don't seem to be saying: the issues with pages falling out seems to have been resolved.

The original problem was that the pages were glued together instead of sewn. THIS HAS BEEN CORRECTED with a subsequent printing. That being said, I would strongly recommend against purchasing a used copy of this set unless you've verified with the seller that the binding is SEWN binding.

A little background: being aware of the issues surrounding the glued binding, I did a little research on internet forums to see if the issue had been corrected. The only evidence I could find was one random poster on a random forum saying that they "thought" the issue had been corrected.

So I took matters into my own hands and called the publisher. It took forever to get through to them (the number seems to be intended for wholesalers looking to purchase in bulk), but the lady that helped me was able to call back and confirm that the binding is now sewn rather than glued. I asked when the most recent printing had been, and her (now undoubtedly out-of-date) answer gave me confidence that it was far enough back to reassure me that most retailers would have cleared out their stock of the first edition printing. Reassured by this (and Amazon's return policy), I went ahead and purchased after it went on sale. And I can now confirm: sewn binding.

As an aside, as others are saying, the collection is quite heavy—but I wouldn't say that the individual books are too heavy to read if you've propped the book against your legs, etc.

The quality of this collection is (finally) worthy of such a great and timeless comic strip. Calvin & Hobbes stands alone at the top of best comic strip of all time, and nothing else even comes close. Everyone can enjoy this strip, from young kids to adults (though adult fans likely won't want to let their kids touch the books lol)

For most features these lights deserve a 4 or 5 star rating. If your application calls for a steady-on display then these should be on the top of your list. Unfortunately, any other mode, although available by pushing the button, is not retained in memory as stated in the item description. Like most users, I have my lights on a timer and they always return to the steady-on. Unfortunately I cannot return them because after first checking out that they lit, not checking the memory function, I spent 3 hours putting them on a tree... so they will stay there. Bottom line: ONLY recommended if your application calls for steady-on lighting.

Bearington Simon Plush Three Toed Sloth Stuffed Animal, 10 inches
so I was jacked up on my sleeping pills and talking to my boyfriend and he said that he liked three-toed sloths and I thought that was ridiculous but I thought it would be cute too find a stuffed animal. so I found this one and I ordered it and I surprised him with it and he thought it was really cute, but I wasn't completely sold on it at first because his eyes kind of creeped me out a little, but after I had him around a couple of days I realized that he's actually pretty cute. my boyfriend really likes him a lot and he is a welcome addition to our family. I have a white bear that is part of the family as you can see in the picture. they get along really well at the end of the day --wrestling around and giggling like a couple of 2-year-olds. we are 40 and 53 yrs old. yes we are a "little bit" nutty but it is 2020 so how can one expect anything more?
Surfshark VPN for Fire TV
Surfshark VPN for Fire TV
What I like is the the price. Obtaining VPN membership is kind of complicated specially with not sure why you need one anyway. I can't get technical I am not a computer guy. But I am concerned about my privacy. Different countries put blocks on websites on other countries. This restrictions affect us on the lower end who only mean to legally obtain access to information or media without infringing any laws. Here a VPN extends a hand and help you in a safe way access that series on your favorite network that is only been shown in England. Protecting your rights to a free web and granting you legal access and protecting your identity while you are online. What I dislike is sometimes speeds aren't optimal affecting streaming of content. Some vpn sites go offline. Costumer Service wasn't to receptive when at the beginning of the contract found out I couldn't log on successfully for several days and I requested a refund.. Although never heard from costumer service besides the automated response, the problem stopped. After that its been smooth sailing!

I got this for a one bedroom apartment where I live literally next door to a chemical plant. I don't have any way to measure if the harmful chemicals are being removed but I went from being winded going down the stairs to breathing more normally upon exertion so it's definitely doing something and I love it. The house doesn't smell like chemicals even on days the wind is blowing it all this direction. I have autism so I'm really sensitive to white noise sounds and this one is tolerable. Just sounds like the fridge when it's running noisy.

Yogi Tea Infusión de Hierbas Regaliz Menta - 17 bolsitas
Consigliato!
