Donald Trump Golf Headcover by Creative Covers
Donald Trump Golf Headcover by Creative Covers
Cute conversation starter for the golfer in your life;). I bought this head cover for my brother-in-law for his 60th birthday. He's obviously a conservative and a very good golfer--though he's been struggling lately, so I thought this would be the perfect present to cheer him up.
The head cover gets a chuckle from everyone who sees it. Sure it's tacky, but that's the point. It really does resemble our president, down to the fly away yellow hair(might need to be more orange) and the suit is cute. I think he's holding a cell phone which makes sense since the president does love his Twitter account.
Fun gift for the golfer in your life.

300W Power Inverter DC 12V to 110V AC Car Charger Converter with 4.8A Dual USB Ports (Blue)
Bought this for son to charge his 120 watt laptop in the car, but it can't even

The fan is very quiet, the cord is nearly 3 feet long which is sufficient, seems to be sturdy construction, but it can't charge my particular laptop.

Update:
Manufacturer contacted me to find out what model computer I was trying to charge. They then purchased a computer just like it and did some testing on their own. Turns out this computer runs on 19 volt and not 12 volt.

I highly respect these guys for going through the trouble that they did in order to get to the bottom of my issue.
Great Customer Service!

So, in short, the problem was on my end. NOT the manufacturers!
This product DOES charge laptops, just not some of the more powerful ones like my sons.
I just didn't know any better, I was focused on wattage requirements and didn't understand the voltage requirements.

Visiting Mr. Green - Acting Edition (Acting Edition for Theater Productions)
The book 'Visiting mr. Green' was very well taken care of, (compliment for Amazon) and the contents are beautiful, (compliment for Jeff Baron). After having read the book, I went (in the Netherlands) to the play with Bram van der Vlugt and Oren Schrijver, directed by Bruun Kuijt, (compliments for the three of them). Enjoyed the care, the book and the performance enormously.
Marvel Legends Avengers Infamous Iron Man Collectible Figure
Marvel Legends Avengers Infamous Iron Man Collectible Figure
It's a blatant re-using of molds from the Model Prime Iron man figure. While the unmasked head is decent, the hooded head cannot be removed from the hood (and it is the Iron man head). The unmasked head also cannot be used with the cape as the cape cannot support itself on the figure outright. Details specific to Infamous Iron man are also ignored in favor of reusing molds and are thus painted on making it come short. FX piece are also broken in getting them out of the package making them too delicate to even use. With some minor tweaking to the sculpt this could've been something special but it seems only worth the money if you don't already have Model Prime.

Funko Pop! Marvel: Studios 10 - Doctor Strange (Chrome) Toy, Standard, Multicolor
Shipped my funko pop in a box twice the items size without any stuffing to fill the empty space. When I received my item it was completely beat up and ruined as far a collectible. The plus side is I had no issues getting a refund. I just feel this problem could have so easily been avoided with a bit of attention to detail and care taken. Your box is everything for the value and appeal as a collector with a pop and no one wants to pay retail price for an abused and bear up collectible
Ranma 1/2, Vol. 32
Ranma 1/2, Vol. 32
Ever since Akane Tendo tried to drown Ranma Saotome in the bathtub, their relationship has been a bit rocky. But it reaches a turning point in the thirty-second volume of Rumiko Takahashi's "Ranma 1/2," where bean plants, chocolate hearts and spring incense cause new mayhem.

The Tendo dojo has been entrusted with a demon-fighting bean plant, which shoots beans at anyone who looks angry. So now everyone has to look happy -- or else. After that, the principal becomes obsessed with making the students bow to his statue -- and inadvertantly sends dizzy teacher Hinako on a homicidal mission.

Later on, Akane accidently inhales the "Incense of Spring Sleep," has a series of odd dreams about Ranma -- and acts them out. Mousse fears that Shampoo is inflicting an Amazon torture on him, and enlists Ranma and Akane to help defuse her rage. And Valentine's Day rolls around -- will Akane give Ranma chocolate, or will the depressed boy/girl go without?

Finally, Nodoka Saotome takes Ranma and Akane for a shopping trip, resulting in a heated "battle of the bosoms." She also catches a glimpse of her son racing away -- dressed in "Ranko's" clothing. As Ranma tries to salvage the situation, both with Nodoka and Akane, his mother prepares to welcome him home. But meeting his beloved mother might end up killing him...

Though Ranma has lots of suitors, it's pretty obvious that Akane is the only one he wants. Too bad he's too clueless about girls to get on her good side -- after apologizing for mocking Akane's breast size, he asks, "What did I do wrong, anyway?" Wrong question to ask.

Since they are the center of the series, there are quite a few cute moments here. There's Ranma's reaction to chocolate (or lack of it), Akane's dreams about Ranma as a handsome prince, and the mama of them all: Ranma and Akane almost go all the way, after Ranma gets the wrong idea about why Akane dragged him into a dark room.

We also get to see some amusing humour about the supporting characters. Mousse, who normally gets endless abuse from his beloved Shampoo, gets freaked when she starts smiling at him. Hinako goes on a rampage, involving spray paint and wet cement. And that bean plant, which flies around shooting at people, is an inspired idea -- nothing makes you want to get angry like being told you can't.

Bra sizes, bean plants and bowing to the principal cause lots of problems in the thirty-second volume of "Ranma 1/2." But fun as the comedy is, the awkward attraction between Akane and Ranma is what really makes it enjoyable.

Excellent story! Nora doesn't disappoint ever but especially with this book! My sister has EVERY book Nora has ever written and together we own ALL of them she's written and is writing under J.D. Robb. She's had this story for decades (literally) but I'm fairly new to the "avid" reader category and I'm working my way through ALL of her Nora Roberts books along with the In Death series. This book was fun, intriguing and definitely holds your attention from the first paragraph to the last sentence. The characters are fun as always too.
Hondo (Louis L'Amour's Lost Treasures): A Novel
Hondo (Louis L'Amour's Lost Treasures): A Novel
Hondo was a great reread. I’ve read the story before, back in the 80’s or 90’s. I used to read a lot of Louis L’Amour and Zane Grey. This year I’ve been buying audiobooks so I can listen to their stories while I’m driving.

The story is told third person past tense from multiple points of view, Hondo Lane, Mrs. Angie Lowe, Lt. Creyton C. Davis, Major Sherry, El Lowe, Sergeant Young, and even the dog’s, Sam’s, point of view. The only criticism I can think of is the way they fistfight in the story. If you’ve seen an old western you’ll know what I’m talking about. The good guy always drags the bad guy to his feet before punching him again. In the real world most people would stomp the crap out of anybody after knocking them down so they couldn’t get back up.

About half of the time I read everything from nonfiction to westerns. The other half of the time I read sci-fi and fantasy, when I’m not watching sci-fi and fantasy series.

Sci-fi and fantasy authors I like include Douglas Adams, Taylor Anderson, Isaac Asimov, Paolo Bacigalupi, Ray Bradbury, Jack Campbell, Orson Scott Card, Arthur C. Clarke, Earnest Cline, Suzanne Collins, Abe Evergreen, Diana Galbadon, William R. Forstchen, Joe Haldeman, Robert A. Heinlein, Frank Herbert, Hugh Howey, George Martin, Larry Niven, Andre Norton, George Orwell, Patrick Rothfuss, Brandon Sanderson, John Scalzi, John Steakley, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Andy Weir.

Starship Troopers (1959) (not like the movie) by Robert A. Heinlein is the book that got me started in sci-fi adventures, and has remained one of my top five favorite military science fiction adventure stories for decades. The Forever War (1974) by Joe Haldeman, Armor (1984) by John Steakley, Ender’s Game (1985) by Orson Scott Card, and Old Man’s War (2005) by John Scalzi, round out my top five military sci-fi adventure stories.
Dragon Ball, Vol. 15: The Titanic Tournament (Dragon Ball: Shonen Jump Graphic Novel)
Dragon Ball, Vol. 15: The Titanic Tournament (Dragon Ball: Shonen Jump Graphic Novel)
It might sound really boring to someone who hasn’t read this series to keep describing more or less the same things happening in this series: Son Goku fights bad guys and wins, then goes to a Strongest Under the Heavens tournament where he and his pals fight others. They have done exactly this three times now. But I can assure you, it’s anything but boring.

If a writer has done their job well, then by the 15th volume in a series you’re fully invested in the characters and will read any story they’re in with delight, so long as you can see those characters - and Akira Toriyama has done a very, very good job with Son Goku and co.!

This book is the third Strongest Under the Heavens tournament featuring grown up versions of Goku and Kuririn, and it’s one match after another. Tenshinhan vs. Cyborg Taopaipai (the world’s greatest assassin who fought - and lost - to Goku during the Red Ribbon storyline), Goku vs. Chi-Chi, Kuririn vs. Piccolo Jr, and Yamcha vs. “Shen”.

The setup might sound stale but because everyone’s more superpowered than ever - Goku’s fights in particular are fascinating, if only to see what he’s learned in Heaven for three years - the fights are far more imaginative, more energised, faster and exciting than ever to read. Throw in some romance - Chi-Chi makes Goku keep his innocent childhood promise to marry her! - a throwback to the series (Taopaipai) and a surprise in the form of “Shen”, and you’ve got one helluva Dragon Ball book!

What I’m in awe of is how Toriyama can go from end of the world storylines like the conclusion of the Piccolo saga in the last book and immediately recapture that sense of urgency in a smaller storyline, like this third tournament arc. The fluidity with which he switches gears between volumes and never loses the reader’s attention or storytelling pace is extraordinary. You rarely see this in serialised comics - the best western example I can think of is Jason Aaron/RM Guera’s Scalped which was a flawless 10 volume series. But Dragon Ball is 42 volumes total!!

If you’ve made it this far into the series, you’re absolutely gonna love it. The characters continue to develop well, the stories are as enthralling as ever, and the action keeps getting more compelling. For an all-fighting volume, it’s never brainlessly dumb and the characters and story don’t suffer from the action focus - if anything, they’re enhanced! A martial arts comic is in its element when its got good martial arts, and Dragon Ball has that in bundles.

Dragon Ball is perfection in a comic book and volume 15 is just that - onto the final book in the series!
Twin Knights (Princess Knight)
Twin Knights (Princess Knight)
I bought The Twin Knights from a local book store at the same time as I bought the two volumes of Princess Knight.

Like the other reviewer, I'm a bit disappointed that the publishers chose to change the style of cover between the first part of the series, and its sequel. This is not a deal-breaker for me, but considering that all three volumes are the same size, I'm surprised that they did not attempt to create a more cohesive "unit" of books.

The story, however, is just as charming as ever. The Twin Knights picks up from where Princess Knight left off, introducing the birth of Prince Daisy and Princess Violetta, the ill-fated children of Princess Knight's protagonist Sapphire. The story reads sort of like a readjusted version of Princess Knight at the beginning; it eliminates the concept of "boy" hearts and "girl" hearts, but still plays with societal expectations of what boys and girls are supposed to be and do.

Without adding spoilers to the discussion, I will say that this is a nice little addition to the Princess Knight story, but not strictly necessary to find closure with Sapphire's tale. It is also not necessary to have read the Princess Knight story to be able to pick this up and enjoy it. While it has references to the original series, it still stands as its own work, and is still a worthy read.
Witch & Wizard. James Patterson with Gabrielle Charbonnet
Witch & Wizard. James Patterson with Gabrielle Charbonnet
I've read other books by James Patterson, particularly his Maximum Ride series. I've read every one of the Max Ride books and I'm always pleased when I stumble upon a new one in the book store. That being said I can say unequivocally: DO NOT READ THIS BOOK. Witch and Wizard is an awful book, one of the worst I have ever read, and I read a lot.
I came across this book as a sneak peak to the sequel, The Gift, in the back of another book. I was intrigued, it seemed different and interesting, and the chapter stopped right at a moment that makes you want to read more. When I went online to check it out, I found it was the second book in a series which I bought for my Kindle without reservation.
When I sat down to read it I was disappointed. Very, very disappointed. I persevered for a few chapters and got about half way through the book before I gave up in disgust. There are many things wrong with this book, but the plot flaws and the indistinct characterisation were the most discouraging.
Firstly the characterisation. There is no distinction between the different characters: they don't have their own voice or way of operating, and their reactions to the events of the story are wholly unrealistic. Plus there are the stupid names given to several characters, especially one of the protagonists, Wisteria, more commonly known as 'Wisty'. Now Wisteria is a cool unusual name that the right character could embrace but Wisty sounds like a nickname an older brother would tease his sister with. It is also hard to take an evil organisation seriously when their leader is called 'The One Who Is the One'. The defiant and rude attitude of the main protagonists, the Allgood siblings, didn't make any sense. In the Max Ride books this is a signature of the flock, but it makes sense because they have always been on the run from evil scientists and were basically raised on the streets, so their spunky mistrust for authority figures makes sense. It doesn't for the well brought up, suburban middle class Allgoods who have never had any contact with the police.
The plot flaws are also really frustrating, it just doesn't make sense. The evil government: New Order, snatch the Allgoods from their home in the middle of the night, throw them in jail but let each kid take one possession from their home. Why would an evil government, who have re-written the laws let their prisoners take keepsakes or potential weapons. They've just arrested the pair for witchcraft but let them take a blank book and a drumstick with them into prison. When in prison the pair are also allowed to stay in the same cell rather than being separated. All of this just points to sloppy story telling. A little bit of creativity would have done wonders for this book.
I know this sounds a bit like a rant (which admittedly it is), but that's only because I liked his previous works and was really disappointed to find something so amateurish. I absolutely would not recommend this book, even if you're a fan of Patterson's work, it is predictable, poorly written and very flawed. It feels more like a first draft than a published book, and should not be read by any one.
The Minpins
The Minpins
This new edition of The Minpins was published to mark the 40th anniversary of the Dahl & Blake collaboration, which began with The Enormous Crocodile in 1978. In the years after Dahl's death, Quentin Blake reillustrated the books that were illustrated by others. This resulted in new illustrations for James, the two Charlie stories, The Magic Finger, Fantastic Mr Fox and Danny the Champion of the World. Blake also illustrated a 2012 edition of Boy.

I know that the original Patrick Benson picture book illustrations for the Minpins are more suited to the atmosphere of the story and I know that the re-illustrated versions of the pre-1978 Dahl stories might be a mere cash grab by Dahl's estate and publishers. However, this new Minpins hardback is like a capstone to the Dahl & Blake collaboration. Initially I was surprised that Blake would want to attempt the story, but when I purchased my copy of the book, I felt relieved that he adapted his style well the demands of the story.

Blake's illustrations are in a different style from the Benson originals. The original Benson pictures were naturalistic and atmospheric. The colour illustrations in the earlier version are cross-hatched and allow scenes to play out on a broad canvas. In contrast, Blake is more sprightly and more close-up and his illustrations accompany the story at every step. Occasionally the vignettes don't place themselves within a context, but we can still have an idea of the scene even when viewing these drawings. I have to admit that sometimes the atmosphere in the Benson pictures obscures the actors in the story, and so it's hard to see Billy, the minpins and the birds when they are not brought into the foreground. Some people may think that Blake's style better fits the Dahl books of the early 1980s, but here Blake shows remarkable restraint in depicting Billy's adventures with the Minpins.

The book feels more grown-up than the picture book version, as the story is now divided into 10 chapters. As such, it has a bit more stature to it and can take its place alongside the three other novellas in Dahl's corpus.

Don't be afraid - this Blake Minpins hardback does more than justice to the story. It may be different from Benson's naturalistic picture book illustrations, but it has its own rewards to devotees of Dahl and Blake.

I think I might be keen to see Dahl's estate put out a colour edition of this Blake edition of the Minpins.

Our 11 y/o is finally enjoying to read because of these books. I haven't the slightest clue as to what they are about, but he sure does and he loves them. The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher (Peter Rabbit)
The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher (Peter Rabbit)
You simply CANNOT go wrong with the tales of Beatrix Potter!!! Every baby who comes into my life's circle - family, friends, you name it - gets a copy of her complete tales. As I am 67 years young now, there have been quite a few. The only reason I checked "Some violence" is because of the unfortunate incident when Mr. Fisher caught the stickleback fish. I'm quite sure that it would not disturb most children (or other people) in the least. It's a story about nature, as all of Miss Potter's are, and nature does involve many things that some folks would prefer not to deal with.
A Game of Chance
A Game of Chance
Jon Osborne's debut novel, Kill Me Once, is one of the most gripping books I have ever read and I was so looking forward to reading his 2nd novel, Game of Chance. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Reviewer Tony le Mesma says it all. Totally agree with him about this novel. What a load of tripe it is - disjointed, confusing, boring to the nth degree, horrible unnecessarily savage murders. I will never read another novel by him again. Life's too short!! Jon Osborne, as an author, is to me as dead now as one of his victims. I was going to pass this book on to a charity shop but felt I couldn't inflict it on anyone else. Binned it instead.
Bleach, Vol. 40: The Lust
Bleach, Vol. 40: The Lust
The action returns to Hueco Mundo for this fortieth volume of the Bleach manga with the battle between Ichigo and Ulquiorra in full swing. The battle continues through interruptions from a vengeful Loly and Menoly, and a revitalized Yammy with the two combatants relatively even. Ulquiorra eventually takes the battle onto the roof of Las Noches so that he can use his full power without the risk of destroying the fortress.

This volume of Bleach is another very good instalment of the manga. The entire volume is mostly taken up with the fight between Ichigo and Ulquiorra which is quite well done and flows nicely. The battle does a nice job of showing how powerful Ichigo has become and how strong Ulquiorra is at full power. The only real problem with this volume is that the interruptions by Loly, Menoly and Yammy are somewhat pointless and just serve to prolong the action. The volume also includes the results of the zanpakutô popularity pole.

This is a very nice volume of Bleach that leaves the action at a nice cliffhanger. The volume is well worth a full five stars.

Little Miss Dotty (Mr. Men and Little Miss)
Welcome to Nonsenseland where Little Miss Ditzy lives. Here the worms wear boaters (hats) and bow ties, pigs play tennis and for breakfast Miss Ditzy enjoys a bowl of marmalade with milk and sugar!

Next year's Nonsense Cup is going to go to the person who thinks up the dottiest idea. Spring came, then summer but still Little Miss Ditzy could not think what to do to win the cup. Inspiration finally hit in November. Mr.Nonsense entered a TV set without any screen, Mr. Silly, last year's winner, made a clock that told the correct time if you looked in a mirror BUT Miss Ditzy was the winner having painted nine hundred and ninety nine dots all over the outside of her cottage!

The Mr. Men and Little Miss books are a favorite in this house. Highly recommended!

Full Count is a homerun. It begins as a dramatic piece but as it continues a thriller unfolds. It's spiritual in nature and something that the family can watch from top to bottom. You'll also see actors that have been in budgets well over 10s of millions of dollars.

The filmmakers produced a good piece.
Drew: The Man Behind the Poster
Drew: The Man Behind the Poster
This documentary now available on DVD is a wonderful testament to the indestructibility of the human spirit and the value of marching to your own drummer.

Legendary movie poster-artist Drew Struzan was an unwanted baby, an unwanted child and an unwanted student. He says he didn't miss being happy because he didn't know what happiness was supposed to feel like. He was only content when he was able to draw. He drew on toilet paper, old flyers, and discarded newspapers. He enrolled in art school and was thrown out for failure to pay his tuition. He simply went around to the rear, entered the back door and went on with his studies.

His faltering career was shared by a young woman who flirtatiously lobbed a ping-pong ball at him and never looked back. Decades later, they are still married and he now knows what happiness feels like.

Some of the interviews are with:
* Dylan Struzan - his wife couldn't give him grocery money, he'd buy paint!
* Christian Struzan - his son is proud of his father's enormous legacy.
* George Lucas - who has a major collection of his work, including the "Star Wars" series.
* Harrison Ford - says Drew inspired him to be as good as his posters. "Indiana Jones" was one of the iconic results.
* Steven Spielberg - insists Drew's posters make the story better. Just look at "E.T."
* Michael J. Fox - watched Drew's original poster become a triptych as the franchise grew.
* Guillermo del Toro - loves Drew's ability to simplify. He did the poster overnight for the remake of "The Thing."
* Frank Darabont - used Drew for "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Green Mile."
* Steve Guttenberg - says "Police Academy" owes its sequels to Drew.
* Thomas Jane - Drew tried to teach him how to draw for a movie role but failed miserably.
* Joanna Cassidy - was surprised by the quality of his "Blade Runner" posters.
* Alice Cooper - used Drew for an award winning album cover.
* Thousands of adoring fans at the 2012 Comic-Con in San Diego.

You will be stunned to see how many of his posters are classics.

[Upgraded Metallic Balloons KIT] HiParty 60pcs Metallic Party Balloons, 3D Premium Thick Chrome Latex Birthday Balloons with accessories for Wedding Christmas and almost Party Decorations (6 Colors)
I inflated 28 of these balloons before a New Years Eve party (plus one that was defective with a hole in it). Actually, I slightly overinflated these balloons. During the first 24 hours, a few popped, mostly ones placed directly below a heater vent. After that, only one more has popped and one mostly deflated. It is now February 9 and the remaining 21 still look the same as they did 40 days ago. They may last until next NYE.

The somewhat metallic look is very nice and they are beautiful balloons, but the durability is beyond belief.

UPDATE: It is now March 6th and all of the 21 balloons still look the same. They may have possibly lost a tiny bit of air, but I can't really tell for sure. They very well may last until next New Year.

FURTHER UPDATE: It is now April 11 and I can tell that the balloons have lost some air, but someone seeing them for the first time would think that they look very good. A friend suggested that I should have taken them to Costco tire center and filled them with nitrogen; they might last all year.

FINAL UPDATE: It is now October 2 and half of the balloons are still half inflated. Since I over inflated originally, they are still a decent size and look quite good. If you didn't know how large they were originally, you would be impressed. I'm assuming that some may still look good for their second New Year. I'm impressed.
Bollywood Calling
Bollywood Calling
When starting this review I wasn't sure how many stars to give it. But considering I have watched the movie about four times since 2002 and know I will watch it again at some point in the future (having just bought the DVD), I think that it definitely merits five stars.

The basic story is that Cusick's character (Pat), an actor based in LA, lands a role in a Bollywood film. While Pat has certain expectations such as being on time or having a script, he is faced with the organised chaos of India. Ensue hilarity.

This is a pretty low budget film which doesn't benefit from the best cast or production (I always feel that the sound in particular is rather poor, as if it was filmed on a home movie camera). However, it does have an outstanding performance from Om Puri (known in the UK for 'East is East') as the anxious-to-please producer-director Subra, who travels to America to entice Pat to Hyderabad to star in his all-singing-all-dancing Bollywood movie. Pat, a has-been with a drink problem, finally agrees to go and finds himself faced with the hap-hazard manner of Bollywood, an ageing leading man who still plays young heroes and controls everybody on set, and a straight-talking leading lady who finally becomes his friend. Writer/Director Nagesh Kukunoor is also pretty good in his small role as a supporting actor.

While making fun of the obvious flaws in the Indian film industry, Bollywood Calling is also something of an homage to the industry. Not recommended for anyone who hasn't seen any Bollywood films, because you just won't get the jokes. A fun film - and worth watching for Om Puri alone.
adidas Men's Adizero Boston 8 Running Shoe
adidas Men's Adizero Boston 8 Running Shoe
This is my third pair of Bostons. I have used them for long interval training and shorter runs in the past, and have loved them for that purpose. I tried wearing this pair for a long run last week and decided never to do that again. I'm tall and weigh approximately 200 lbs, and the forefoot cushioning in these shoes just wasn't enough for my feet over a long run. For lighter runners with a more typical distance running build, I imagine these are great distance shoes, but I don't think they were engineered for crossover athletes or any larger runners looking to put in miles.

***UPDATE*** Well, never say "never." As these shoes broke in, which happened pretty quickly, I decided to give them another shot on a longer run. They were absolutely great -- lightweight, plenty of shock absorption and a really smooth ride. I've been doing just about everything in them since. Whatever I was feeling on that initial run was more about me than the shoe. These are great.
New Balance Men's 608 V5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer
New Balance Men's 608 V5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer
I have been thru several different makes and models in the last few years and was disappointed by every purchase.
I have arthritis in both ankles and my left was shattered in an accident and is always painful. I was buying spongy shoes for the cushioning but those bothered my hips and back. My feet also roll outward and the shoes were only lasting 8-10 weeks. I've been wearing this current pair for 4 months and they are still supportive and comfortable. I hope New Balance doesn't mess with a good thing as they seem to always do. I would recommend these to anyone needing a supportive cushioned shoe.
Update: I live in SW FL. where it rains everyday. I was wearing a new pair to work and I got caught in a downpour. I work outside so I ended up having to walk in soggy sand and when the shoe got wet it lost all support.
The shoes were only a week old and I ended up with my foot rolled outward and I was walking on the actual side of the shoe. Being out of town for a job I had to wear them walking on the side for 2 more days. My ankles hurt so bad I had to crawl through the house because I could not walk. This went on for 2 more days before I could put any weight on them.
Having worn New Balance for as long as I can remember I ordered another pair and it felt awkward after just trying the on. I took a mini square and was amazed how far the shoe was. The top part of the shoe was attached to the sole crooked.SEE PIC.
I just ordered a pair of Reebok DMX Max to try.
PlayMonster Snap Ships Gladius AC-75 Drop Ship
PlayMonster Snap Ships Gladius AC-75 Drop Ship
This building system is amazing. It is very easy to put together a detailed science fiction vehicle. While most sets have instructions for more than one out-of-box model, my favorite activity is creating my own ships. You can build an attractive little mini-ship with 5 pieces in under 10 seconds. Or you can spend hours designing complicated, grandiose battleships.

The designers developed a very elegant cuboid block system reminiscent of Zoids Blox, but with the the connecting peg attached to the primary block type. In its simplest form, you build a basic structure with the blocks and use a dizzying array of connectors and panels to camouflage the blocks and create a well-defined model that doesn't look like a building set.

This was obviously a labor of love for the designers and manufacturer. There is a veritable buffet of parts that touch on classic science fiction vehicle elements:

-Thrusters? Check! at least 5 different types
-High-tech weapons? possibly a couple dozen death-dealing blasters!
-Wings that look cool but are irrelevant in space ? Check!
-Missile launchers? Several varieties of detailed missile launchers and "toyetic" launchers that really shoot!
-Various undefined greeblies that allow you to imagine a high-tech function? Check!
-At least 5 different cockpit types
-Nicely sculpted 1-inch figures to staff your creation.

There are distinctive design styles for each of the 2 warring factions. The "good guys" have very familiar grey and blue clean-lined parts that borrow from Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, etc. The "bad guys" have a black and magenta insectoid motif with menacing wings and pincers.

The attractively textured packaging lid doubles as a display stand.

While I've not tried the associated smartphone app, it looks pretty sweet from what I've seen.

Cons: These toys are easy for kids to use but the detail is good enough for a grownup. This also means that some pieces are kind of sharp - case in point being the Gladius 9-missile panels. I would use the prying tool to push these into the blocks and warn your kids not to simply "thumb" them in. Worse than stepping on a lego brick.

Some of the pieces are brittle - we've snapped a few missiles in half, and a number of the guns have broken off.

Despite these criticisms, as a geeky adult I am engrossed in this toy. My 7-year-old and I give each other building ideas and fight for pieces so much I've had to buy a bunch of sets to keep up with our demand for pieces! I love trying to push the boundaries on how to combine the parts in novel ways.

OIVO PS4 COOLING STAND WITH CHARGING DOCK FITS REGULAR, SLIM, AND PRO PS4.

The design is really nice and it is sturdy, the stand doesn’t have any balance issues and it has a solid base (galvanized metal). On one side it has a convenient storage area for 12 games, or films if you want to put films on it as well!On the other side it has an awesome charging station for two controllers! The LED indicator screens are so fun and satisfying, especially at night, you can see them really well during the day as well. It charged my controller quickly and the design is easy to use. The cooling fans work well, they kept my ps4 cool and they were super quiet, which is a major plus. The design makes it easy to turn the fans on and off whenever needed. There are LED lights where the fans are which give it a satisfying style, especially at night. You can only see the lights without the ps4 slim adapter that secures the PS4 slim in place though, so if you want to see the lights don’t use the adapter but just be careful not to knock your PS4 off the stand. It fits my PS4 slim perfectly with the adapter that comes with it so if you use it correctly you won’t have to worry about it falling over 😁

Overall I think it is a great product with a stylish, yet sturdy design. With some extra features that really help make it feel complete. The fans work to keep my PS4 from overheating without being too loud, and the lights are satisfying.

10/10 does what it’s supposed
8/10 lights (because you can’t see them unless you don’t use the adapter with the ps4 slim)
10/10 sturdy
10/10 extra features/functions

I bought these for use in doors in my game room so I am not deducting for the fact that they are not very water resistant. Might not be a good idea to use them Outdoors because UPS left Fox Outdoors and these got soaked. I thought they would be fine because they are waterproof but every one of them had water in them. Then I looked and underneath each one is a whole so I'm guessing that's where it got in. I had to leave these in the Sun for a couple of days to dry out and then I tested them and they still work perfectly. So even after getting wet and you can see the obvious corrosion on the circuit boards they still work perfectly. One reviewer stated how they all sing together and not randomly which is just not true. They all start out singing together or at least appearing to because they all start at the same time and you plug them in but over a short time they do their own thing and will not be working together as they are not linked together or sync together as the One reviewer had claimed but in fact they are individual lighting units only powered as one. Love the color blue. These lights are not very long like some of them that you can buy but they are not one-sided either where you can see the light through each side of the circuit board

I have owned these lights since October of 2017, and have enjoyed them in my backyard garden. In summary, I reported an annoying design flaw, they reported it to their engineers, they fixed it and then sent me replacements. The new sets work great! Over the course of ownership and interaction with the seller I have progressively increased my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. I am very happy with these solar lights and highly recommend them!
See below for details:

Initial 2 star review from early 2018:
During several day stretches of clouds, especially in below freezing weather, these sets of lights will latch in an off state and require manually turning the power switch off and back on again for them to work. Annoying, as this happens about once per week in the winter and about once a month in the summer.

In an attempt to remedy the above problem, I replaced the 600ma-hour batteries with 2000ma-hour batteries, which run the lights much longer at night, but still did not solve the problem. I suspect that the issue is caused by too many days of clouds and cold bring the battery voltage so low that the controller locks up, requiring a power cycle to reset.

The manufacturer reported this issue to their factory and sent me a replacement pair to try out. For their good customer service I am increasing my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars.

Edit 9/19/18:
One year after my purchase, both original sets are still working. Each set does still occasionally need a power cycle to get them working again, which I have tolerated doing. Another noteworthy development is that the once clear epoxy resin covering the solar cells has turned an opaque yellow color. Despite this, the sets still run well throughout the night with the 2000ma-hour batteries that I upgraded to.

Edit 4/19/19:
I finally got around to putting in the replacement sets that the manufacturer provided me. After about 2 months of use, they have not caused me any trouble. I took apart the new sets to upgrade the batteries and noticed the the circuit boards are different, so this is a good sign that they changed something (hopefully for the better.) I posted a few pictures of my setup and increased my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Edit 8/13/20:
The replacement lights are still working well after over a year of use. Increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars! Considering buying more of these for use in decorative lanterns.
Etnies Men's Rls X Sheep Skate Shoe
Etnies Men's Rls X Sheep Skate Shoe
LilySilk 100 Pure Mulberry Silk Pillowcase Cover for Hair with Cotton Underside Charmeuse Hypoallergenic 19 Momme 30-day Gurantee (Dark Teal, Standard 50x75cm-Bag Package)
LilySilk 100 Pure Mulberry Silk Pillowcase Cover for Hair with Cotton Underside Charmeuse Hypoallergenic 19 Momme 30-day Gurantee (Dark Teal, Standard 50x75cm-Bag Package)
The pillowcase is well made and of good quality, rather than a thin crinkly plastic bag it came in a soft ziplock one, not the sort you freeze your veggies in! The cotton on the underside stops it slipping on the sheet or sliding off another pillow below it. There is a concealed zip fastener which, as it is a generous size (50cm x 75cm), keeps the pillow in place. I put an Oxford pillowcase on my pillow before putting the silk one on just to bulk it up a little. Inside the pillowcase along with the washing instructions one of the tags showed a wide variety of sizes and weights of silk are available but this choice is not there when ordering. My pillow is important to me and it took a while to find the right one, this cover has just made it even better and although I was sceptical about the claims for reducing hair frizz amazingly it seems to have done just that. I have already bought one for a friend and am ordering another for myself. I don't know how it will stand up to repeated washing but I feel that if you wash it according to the easy directions it will last well so on that basis I have given it 5 stars. I am one very satisfied customer and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The first coffee maker we have bought, and a purchase made on the back of Amazon reviews, and price.
Delivery from Amazon prompt but there was no outer packing added by Amazon to the manufacturer's box although fortunately there was no transit damage (others might not be so fortunate).
Instructions are not very clear, as others have indicated, but we muddled through as everyone else has done without any problems.
First thing we noticed is that it will not take 'tall' mugs, but ours at 95mm will just fit under, which is OK for us.
We use ground coffee, not pods, so there was some trial and error to optimize things. First the single shot basket thing seems to hold more proportionately more coffee than the double shot basket (i.e. 2x single is more than the double). Both baskets are sensitive to how much coffee is put in, since only a slight overfill even when using the measuring spoon will either prevent you from loading the holder into the machine or the machine can't pump through the coffee. That part mastered we then found that coffee ground fine for espresso machines definitely works best, not 'ordinary' ground coffee from a packet. The best coffee so far has been from a specialist coffee supplier (Italian from Wallingford Tea and Coffee Co), and lots more out there to try. That said the machine has produced a good crema on all of the coffees we have tried so far.
We have used the milk frother and it works fine, although we don't use it much.
Problems with multiple cups of coffee, as others have reported, don't arise for us because we don't make more than two mugs at a time.
But the cup warmer is indeed rubbish.
So finally after a month it's still going strong and hopefully will continue to do so for some time yet and fingers crossed this review will not induce the kiss of death!

KaiMeng Office High Back Leather Computer Ergonomic Height Adjustable Racing Game Desk Executive Conference Task Chair, 19.5" x 20.1" x 44.2", Red
Decent chair overall. Easy to assemble except that one of the screw wells was slightly too small for the included screws, so it could only go in about 30% of the way. Will have to see how that affects durability over time. The angle of the back is also kind of awkward; it's not terribly uncomfortable but it's too close to a 90% angle with the seat. I would prefer something reclined another 10 to 15 degrees. You can lean back though, so it's not a terrible issue. Other than that it's comfortable. The seat and back are not that soft; I find some office chairs have way too much give for me and this one doesn't have that problem. If the screws all fit perfectly and the back was angled better this would be an amazing value for the price (I paid around $70); as it is it's still decent. Not sure how durable it is yet; will add information on that later if it breaks unexpectedly.

I bought these because I thought they would taste the same as another product Venco makes, Tikkels, which are just about impossible to find. But these are much tougher in texture and make you worry about your dental fillings.
