Infinite Powers: How Calculus Reveals the Secrets of the Universe
Infinite Powers: How Calculus Reveals the Secrets of the Universe
First off, this book is not a textbook. You won't be reading it and doing homework or taking tests or solving equations and checking the back of the book to see if you got them right - thank goodness! This is a book that makes it possible for anyone (well, maybe not ANYONE, but anyone who is interested enough to try) to understand what Calculus is and the basics of how it works and why...

But why would you want to do that? Well, as the author asserts in the beginning of the book, Calculus is the language of God. Perhaps even more interestingly, he says that Calculus is the operating system or computer language that animates EVERYTHING from moment to moment and place to place.

So consider this; if you've EVER thought that maybe we are in a simulation - a virtual reality - then Calculus is the game engine code that our universe uses to draw the world we are playing the game in right now.

If you can imagine God as a computer game coder, and he set out to create a game called "Humanity" or "Life in the Universe As We Know It" - then instead of sitting down with UnReal Engine or Unity or Java or C++, he chose Calculus. Calculus is the language he programmed the Universe with and the more we understand the code, the more we understand the Universe.

That's kind of fascinating if you think about it - AND it is coexists with the Bible just fine. The Bible doesn't tell us the details of how God created the Universe or what he used to create it - The Bible just says he did it. Calculus is the "language" or a way for us to be able to tell what it is going to do next. My son and I have intense conversations about things like this - and this book makes them far more interesting.

I took Calculus in college several decades ago. I was a C student. I also took Differential Equations, and did much better. I felt like Calculus was the tools and D.E. was using the tools to do things. This book explains the tools and it is fascinating. I recommend it for anyone who is even a little curious about how our universe works, or also anyone who appreciates the artistic beauty of the order in our universe. Calculus is fascinating and even exciting if it is explained by the right person, and with Infinite Powers: How Calculus Reveals the Secrets of the Universe, Steven Strogatz is the right person to do it. I highly recommend this book if you are even slightly interested in how the universe and the world around you works.

I hope this is a helpful review. If there is anything more you would like to know, please ask. I try to check my reviews for comments and respond to them right away. I think it is important for fellow shoppers on Amazon to look out for one another by letting each other know if a product is good, or if it is a stinker. I take this very seriously and try to be helpful. Thank you!

I Say a Little Prayer
I Say a Little Prayer
Great music, I really like the piano and the way it set up the beginning of the song . Just me I guess. I believe Franklin could take funeral music and have people dancing and singing along. We should all be so lucky to have just a little pinch of that ' IT ' that is so much of what Aretha is.
Louis Armstrong and Paul Whiteman: Two Kings of Jazz
Louis Armstrong and Paul Whiteman: Two Kings of Jazz
Hey, look, I'm for the Post-Canonical approach to criticism and history as much as the next guy...MORE than the next guy. But this book is over the top. It is certainly well researched. But all of its scholarship only serves to conflate and confuse Cultural History and Musical History...not to speak of the beating it gives to poor Aesthetics. It talks about "relegating Whiteman to the position of a marginal figure". Well, Joshua, in terms of Cultural History, Whiteman is not a marginal figure. But musically he is!!! I'm sorry, but that's true!!! Bix is amazing and a genius, Challis' arrangements are incredible, even if often really, really dated. Trumbauer is certainly worth studying and and listening to, even if he's ultimately quite disappointing. Some of the things Whiteman commissioned (besides Rhapsody in Blue) are interesting and worth knowing. But none of this comes close to making a case for studying Whiteman as a parallel figure to Armstrong! Armstrong's MUSIC requires patience. I don't think it necessarily reveals itself IMMEDIATELY to the modern listener. But still!!! Once you get it, it requires no special pleading, no historical excuses. And this is just not not true of Whiteman. Some of the records are really special, and I do appreciate Berrett's analysis of the famous recording of Washboard Blues. There are a few of these moments, both in the book and in Whiteman's career, and certainly there needs to be recognition of such moments. Gunther Schuller certainly went a long way in his writings on Whiteman in his book Early Jazz. And I also agree that Armstrong's career situates itself within the general history of American Popular Music, and not in some rarefied realm of Afro - American Demotic Art Music. And that the more writing that explores that, the better. But Berrett's thinking is so messy and so unclear. He makes Richard Sudhalter look like a great Philosopher/Historian like George Steiner !!! At least you always know that Sudhalter's passions, even if lopsided, come out of a genuine and informed LOVE for the music he writes about. Here, I'm not always sure...And one more thing: this is the Worst - Edited Book I've seen in a long time!!!! Whole passages return, over and over, like some kind of incantation. It is so padded that it's unbelievable. Forget about Post-Modern critics - let's train some editors!
Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits, Vol. 2
Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits, Vol. 2
Here we are-a second volume of Bob Dylan's greatest hits on over two discs. This volume picks up from where the first one left off. Spanning from the final days of 1967 to the fall of 1971, the time of this compilation's release. Also featured here are early 60s to mid 60s classic that didn't make the first volume are surely welcomed here which is why this volume is a double disc collection not to mention a previously live track from 1963-"Tomorrow Is A Long Time" and three songs recorded specifically this release originally from The Basement Tapes back in 1967-"I Shall Be Released"; "You Ain't Going Nowhere" and "Down In The Flood" with Dylan accompanied by Happy Traum on second guitar, bass, banjo and harmony vocal. Also from that very year was the single "Watching The River Flow" recorded with Leon Russell on piano, Jesse Ed Davis on slide guitar, Jim Gordon on drums and Carl Radle on bass all of whom are also featured on "When I Paint My Masterpiece". Two songs are each featured from the albums John Wesley Harding and Nashville Skyline-"All Along The Watchtower"; "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight"; "Lay Lady Lay" and "Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You", respectively. There is one song each from the albums Self Portrait and New Morning-"The Mighty Quinn(Quinn The Eskimo)" and "If Not For You". As for the other pre-1967 songs that are welcomed on this release are two songs apiece from The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, Another Side Of Bob Dylan and Bringing It All Back Home-"Don't Think Twice, It's All Right"; "A Hard Rain Is A-Gonna Fall"; "All I Really Want To Do"; "My Back Pages"; "Maggie's Farm" and "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue". There's also one song each from the albums Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde On Blonde-"Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" and "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues".
If this is some compilation then you'll agree. A wonderful mix of later Dylan songs as well as old favorites plus a few extras thrown in to make a great double disc compilation. If you love the first volume, you will twice as love this one too.
Thayers Alcohol-Free Coconut Water Witch Hazel Facial Toner with Aloe Vera Formula - 12 oz
Thayers Alcohol-Free Coconut Water Witch Hazel Facial Toner with Aloe Vera Formula - 12 oz
I was using a toner from the Body Shop for over 6 months and my acne growth never reduced, in fact I started growing acne on places I never grew before (cheeks and chin). I heard great things about this witch hazel toner and decided to make the switch. I’ve been using it for two weeks now and the results are instant ... after 5 years of consistent acne on my forehead (there is ALWAYS acne on my forehead) I haven’t had any in those 2 weeks. 100% recommend.

Update: after about a year of twice a day use I had to completely stop using witch hazel on my face. Although I stopped breaking out (see original review), I started to get blackheads and Whiteheads on my forehead that wouldn’t go away and I couldn’t figure out why. It got pretty bad so I started using BHA 2% in my routine and only found it to slightly help reduce the black and Whiteheads but not completely eliminate it - which was troubling because BHA is meant to clear it up. I started reading up on witch hazel and found that it can actually be really drying and irritate the skin, making acne worse. I am pretty sure this was happening with me. Anyway, I stopped using the toner but am continuing to use BHA and my forehead is the best it has been in a long time.

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese - 7.25 Ounces - 18 ct
I ate a lot of it as a kid and raised my daughter on it too. Make up a package, eat it alone, eat it as a
side dish, add some vegetables and dice up leftover meat or chicken, ground beef, hot dogs or even a can
of tuna and you have a one dish meal. I always have some in the house for those nights when I don't
know what to prepare.
Aside from that, I'm buying a lot of these 18 box packages for a few local food banks I'm trying to help
support. They have double or more the number of families needing their services than they had before the
pandemic and that's a tough nut to meet. Hundreds of families needing assistance --needing food--from every food bank, everywhere, every week. They're dependent on you, me and corporations to donate money,
as well as food, to continue to operate and feed people out of work through no fault of their own.
Hint. Hint: You can order shelf stable food from Amazon and have it delivered directly to your local food bank.
I know how I used it when times were tough to make a little go a long way and I'm sure what gets donated
to the food banks is being used the same way.

Thank you Kraft for getting your manufacturing ramped up making Kraft dinner available and helping to keep a lid on the price gougers who pounce on shortages.
I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew
I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew
As a child, someone read this book to me only once, and I looked for it ever afterward. It seemed more magical, somehow, than all the other Doctor Sues books. In college, I stumbled across it again and bought it. Its still one of my favoritesa great pick-me-up if youre feeling beat, definitely good for college students.
The story is about a fellow who has troubles and so goes looking for the beautiful city of Solla Sollew, on the banks of the beautiful river wha-hoo, where they never have troubles, at least very few! Well, as you can imagine, he has a terrible time getting to Solla Sollewflood ands wars and wild beastsand when he finally gets there, he discovers that the advantages of Solla Sollew have been somewhat exaggerated. He ends up going back home with a new attitude. The story isnt any different than many similar stories, but the rhymes are particularly lyrical, the artwork particularly funny. I pull it out every few months and read it, and I laugh every time.

Love it! I was listening while driving to the race track. I was soooo hooked by the time I got there, I didn't want to get out of the car. Almost missed my son's race because I was so enthralled and taken in by the stories. It's crazy how quickly I arrived at my destination while listening to these stories. Thank you. Just what I was looking for. Arrived on time and in perfect condition.
Maximum Overdrive
Maximum Overdrive
Starring Emilio Estevez, Maximum Overdrive (1986) is a horror film written and directed by Stephen King. It is based on his short Story, Trucks (1973), which appeared in an issue of Cavalier Magazine of that same year and was later added to his collection Night Shift (1978). The original story was later filmed as Trucks (1997). It is, to date, the only film King has directed.

In 1986 the earth passed through the tail-end of the Rea-M comet and for six days everything mechanical takes on a life of its own. Essentially, the earth's machines turn on humankind. A rogue group of survivors hole up in the Dixie Boy diner and gas station, and fight off the machines - mostly lorries - until they can escape by sailboat to a remote island where they will wait for the comet to pass.

The film is notable for its AC/DC soundtrack, which the band even released as a full album titled Who Made Who (1986), and which features the hits Hells Bells, Who Made Who, and You Shook Me All Night Long, as well as some original songs. It is now also famous for the White-Western Star 4800 truck with the Green Goblin face (the villain from Marvel Comics' Spider-Man series).

Other cast members include Pat Hingle (Batman), Laura Harrington (What's Eating Gilbert Grape?), Yeardley Smith (Catholic Boys), Frankie Faison (Coming to America), J.C. Quinn (The Abyss), Holter Graham (Two Evil Eyes), and Leon Rippy (Fixing the Shadow). Stephen King provides a cameo at the beginning of the film: the ATM man.

Maximum Overdrive fits into that horror sub-genre of sorts called Killing Machines: Duel (1971), The Car (1977), Christine (1983), The Wraith (1986), The Ambulance (1990), Trucks (1997), and Black Cadillac (2003). There is no special edition of Maximum Overdrive to date.
Complete Four Just Men (Tales of Mystery & the Supernatural)
Complete Four Just Men (Tales of Mystery & the Supernatural)
A good mixture of long stories and, in my opinion better still, short stories about the Just Men. The writing is a little mechanical at times, not surprising considering the prodigeous output of Edgar Wallace, but the stories are very ingenious
The Berenstain Bears and the Wishing Star (I Can Read Level 1)
The Berenstain Bears and the Wishing Star (I Can Read Level 1)
Sister Bear wants a specific teddy bear. She tells everyone. She hasn't been doing well in math, and she wants to get a better grade. Mama Bear says, “Look! It's the wishing star.” Sister says, “What's the wishing star?” “You can wish on the wishing star!”

So she wishes on the star that she'll get the teddy bear. And the next day is her birthday, and she gets the teddy bear for her birthday. And then she says, “I'd like to get a B or an A on the math test.” So she wishes on the star again. And she gets an A on her math test. So they're happy.

Then she sees a pony, and she wishes for the pony. And the next day she gets up and goes outside and says, “Okay, where's the pony?” Nope, it's not there. And she's sad. And Brother says, “You have to be careful with the wishing star. If you're greedy or ask for too much, it may not hear you!”

”But I got my first wish.” “It was your birthday.” “You worked hard for that A. But a pony, I don't know about that.” “Well, two out of three isn't bad.” The end.

No. You can't leave it like that. You can't let readers think that she actually did get the wish. It's such a superstitious thing, to think that wishes are granted like that. You have to explain why she didn't get the pony. You can't just skim over that, like, “Oh well, too greedy! The wishing star doesn't grant greedy wishes!” No! She was greedy wishing for a teddy bear, too. She was greedy wishing for an A in math. She actually worked toward the A, and it happened to coincidentally be her birthday, but that's confirmation bias. She's just going to forget that she didn't get the pony, and she's going to go on thinking that the wishing star grants wishes because it granted her first two. So she's just going to keep wishing on a star, and only counting the times that it hits.

Unfortunately, her grade in science was not an A or a B.

The best part: “They got a reward. They were allowed to stay up and watch a special TV show.”

The Berenstain Bears Count Their Blessings (First Time Books(R))
Stan and Jan Berenstain did it again. They manage to hold their audience captive throughout the reading of this cute little story. My four-year-old has my collection of Berenstain Bear Books from twenty-five years ago and he just loves each and every individual story. I hadn't read any newer Berenstain Bear books until I had a child of my own. This story does an excellent job of teaching children about being grateful for what they have. It's an inspiring family story and I would recommend it for any parent to read to their child. The book was purchased for a steal from the seller, arrived just days after being purchased, and is like a brand new book as far as condition goes.
The Berenstain Bears and Too Much TV
The Berenstain Bears and Too Much TV
Our seven yr old has struggled tremendously w all things reading and writing. I cant even begin to quantify the hrs of sleep I've lost worrying, stressing, crying... trying to find something -ANYTHING!- to spark his interest and turn him onto reading.

And then I remembered the Berenstain Bears. These funny little bear books are our miracle. I've LOVED to read my whole life. I have the fondest memories of my grandmother reading dozens of Berenstain Bears books to me as a little girl... and then of me re-reading them to her. Introducing our little lovey to the Berenstain Bears has been jst... wonderful.

YES - They're too, too much for a six or seven yr old to read solo. They're def intended for co-reading / joint reading.
For me - these are the perfect books for teaching grade school kiddos ab theme, plot, character developmt, etc... while slowly transitioning fr me reading to him and daddy [ha!] to him reading to us.

Basically: Highly recommend. =)

Normally, I try to refrain from writing negative reviews about anyone or anything. However, this specific order cannot go unnoticed. I ordered this volume a few days ago and it came earlier today. However, the whole front cover was torn off. I am a collector and many people who have manga want to display them in the perfect condition that they are SUPPOSED to come in. The fact that under the condition it said "new" and nowhere did it say anything about the product being damaged. I was severely disappointed. Please be more diligent in the future when packing and shipping items to customers.
The Tale of Peter Rabbit (Illustrated)
The Tale of Peter Rabbit (Illustrated)
I was really disappointed in this book. The illustrations were nice and I loved the idea of the sounds to accompany it but the story just felt choppy and the book didn't tell you when to push the buttons for sounds.. you get to the end of the text and then it shows a bunch of buttons to push for sounds but its not well incorporated and feels like an afterthought. It was a nice attempt and I seem to be the only one who feels this way based on the glowing reviews, so maybe you'll like it, but I did not. Too bad.

Edenborn
Edenborn
In Idlewild, the first of this 3-part story, we meet the protagonist, Hal, a teen who battles first the computer host of the Matrix-like virtual school he attends and then one of his fellow students who has become homicidal.

Now, 18 years have passed and we meet a second generation of teens, human and post-human clones. While the 1st genners are working to cure the plague, their children seem content to bicker and fight all the time, spoiled no doubt by being the only children on the planet. The story is told from (too) many points of view, with Penny, an angry teen offering the most input. Half way through the book, Hal gets more involverd. I quickly got tired of the bickering among the teenagers.

We see that in this ideal community, this Eden, a place of material plenty and no threats from outsiders, human nature is the serpent, the source of conflict. Anger and violance, jealousy and revenge exact a terrible toll on the group. Is it possible for humankind to survive itself? We're not sure.

Plot issues: The ability to keep things running after so long is never really addressed. Where does power come from? Utilities? Look, I know it is a work of fiction, but these people are making trans-Atlantic flights in jets and helicopters (?) that have sat idle for two decades. I suppose it could be worse. The record for old-equipment-reuse goes to L. Ron Hubbard who have uneducated humans flying jets that had set idle nearly 1000 years. The book never explains that, or how they keep eating from food stores. Other than Spam and Twinkies, what else lasts that long? I suppose that if you can re-animate a frozen person, you can thaw out some broccoli.

I feel like some reviewers are rating these books high because of their admiration for the late father of the author. But these books must stand by themselves. Like the first of this set, Idlewild, I like the idea but the execution could be better.
Loves Music, Loves To Dance
Loves Music, Loves To Dance
LOVES MUSIC, LOVES to DANCE by Mary Higgins Clark is about murder victims when found are wearing a single very expensive high heel dancing shoe. Erin Kelly and Darcy Scott, best friends from college decide to help Nora Roberts who is doing research for a TV documentary on ad dating. Roberts wants to know what type of people participate in this kind of dating and how successful they are at finding a satisfying love interest. Most who participate are well educated, professional men and women in their late twenties to mid-thirties. It all seemed like innocent fun until Erin disappears after rendezvousing with a man who had placed an ad. Days later her frozen body turns up on a NY pier with one expensive dancing shoe that is a perfect fit. Soon it is discovered that eight women over the last ten years have vanished—all had responded to personal ads and met with people in restaurants and bars. The NYPD received hundreds of leads but nothing positive come from any of them. Darcy and a newly assigned FBI agent believe all the murders are linked. Feeling responsible for Erin’s death, Darcy places her own ad hoping to attract the killer. Ironically the murderer has already decided that Darcy is to be the next victim. The ending is gut-wrenching and exciting.
As usual MHC puts together an exciting and well written mystery. I recommend the book and give it a strong 4-stars.

Silver Buffalo HP12063D Harry Potter House Gryffindor Crest Cauldron Ceramic 3D Sculpted Mug, 20 oz
Silver Buffalo HP12063D Harry Potter House Gryffindor Crest Cauldron Ceramic 3D Sculpted Mug, 20 oz
Let me begin by saying that this item is by no means "bad." I like the overall appearance and link to a beloved property. However, there are some discrepancies between the product advertised here and the actual object which I received. I believe that it is worth outlining the differences here in order to educate others who may be thinking about purchasing this item.

The first thing I noticed upon receiving this item is that it is not actually black and white, despite being both pictured and described that way on it's item page. The spaces which are shown as white are actually painted light grey, and rather poorly at that. The color frequently bleeds off into the other colored areas giving the goblet a somewhat unprofessional look. (See pictures.)

Secondly, it is printed right on the product packaging that this vessel holds 14 ounces of fluid and NOT 20 ounces as is advertised right in the item description. That's a whole ¾ cup difference!

Third, some of the detailing which is shown in crisp sharp relief in the item pictured on the webpage is actually somewhat blurred and subdued on the product which I received.(see pictures also). It makes me suspect that when producing this for mass market release inferior castings were churned out.

Lastly, (and this is really a minor point,) there is a lip that overhangs the inside of the cup which means that no matter how severe the angle you tilt the goblet, you will never get those last few drops of your beverage.

All of that said this is still a really cool drinking vessel, but one should be aware when purchasing of the inaccuracies inherent in what is portrayed here versus what you actually get. I think the advertised product has a more elegant feel over all, but the reality of the goblet is still pretty good.
Fun World Men's Adult Jailbird Costume
Fun World Men's Adult Jailbird Costume
I was skeptical of this costume because it was $7. I mean, expectations were pretty low. But, we needed a very quick costume option for a Halloween party and I needed it fast. It was sent Prime and was here when I needed it.

But overall, the costume is good. It is made of a unique polyester-esque material. It fit well. The waist is a band, so it should work for anyone. Length was good. We did buy one for my wife as well, so we were matching. She had to fold it up a little due to its length, but it was easy to manipulate. So again, overall I was pleased with the costume. I mean, anyone complaining about a $7 costume...come on. It is $7. If you are paying higher than that, I still feel it is worth it up to a certain amount. But, considering the material, it should not be more than $15.

Note: The material is very thin. I actually liked this as it breathes well and is cool, but if it will be cold when you wear it, this will not keep you warm. This is not like a real, old-time wool prison uniform. You will need to wear clothes underneath or you will freeze.
Busker Alley (2006 York Theatre Company Cast Recording)
Busker Alley (2006 York Theatre Company Cast Recording)
Hurray for everybody who made this production and subsequent recording happen. I'm delighted to have The Sherman Brothers' marvelous score (legitimately) recorded. Previously, we only had poorer quality bootlegs to listen to, but now we have an in-studio recording. I was expecting this to be a live recording of the one-night-only concert event and was very pleasantly surprised to find that it's a studio recording. Jim Dale is always wonderful, and he's certainly much better suited to play Charlie the Busker than his predecessor was.

It's interesting to hear the show and score restored to what must have been closer to the original vision (before it became a big star vehicle). It feels more balanced now and I feel like I hate the character of Libby less than I did before.

Reuniting (sort of) Jim Dale and Glen Close was a brilliant bit of casting on Tony Walton's part. The entire cast is topnotch and deserving of kudos. I do miss the fuller orchestrations, but this is a minor quibble. (And nobody sings "Strays" as well as Richard Sherman does.)

Thanks to everybody who brought this show out of the shadows. Five stars. Hats off to you! Let's hope for a full scale Broadway version starring Jim Dale soon!

Pokemon TCG Champion’s Path 36 Booster Packs
Pokemon TCG Champion’s Path 36 Booster Packs
I'm not going to lie. At first I was pretty skeptical about buying loose packs and even more so after reading the reviews. But I can say this is a 100% legitimate product. I purchased these packs from LegacyCards (not sure if it makes a difference). After inspecting the packs it did seem as if they were tampered with. However three packs in and I pull one of the most sought after cards in the set. The elusive rainbow rare charizard vmax. There were other full art and v cards as well but I can say for sure that I am satisfied with the purchase. I included photos of my best pulls. Now with that being said, not every order would include these cards in fact im surprised myself that I pulled it given the rarity. I hope this helps ease your mind when purchasing this product.
Transforming School Culture: How to Overcome Staff Division (Leadership Strategies to Build a Professional Learning Community)
Transforming School Culture: How to Overcome Staff Division (Leadership Strategies to Build a Professional Learning Community)
This is must read book for any administrator serious about understanding the reasons behind toxic school cultures and using strategies to transform them into positive environments. Anthony Muhammad identifies 4 key types of educators and explains how each impact school culture. This typology was very helpful and intensely intriguing. It has given me a much more profound understanding of the needs of staff members that I didn't know how to identify in a productive improvement model previously. Yet, a critique I have of Muhmmad's descriptors is that I suspect staff can sometimes fall into different categories depending on the issues facing them. For example I could see how someone could be both a philosophical believer and a tweener if they're a veteran educator who is new to a school. Muhammad overlooks this possibility. The author also provides useful strategies on how to transform school cultures while keeping the needs of the 4 groups of educators in mind, all with the goal of minimizing the impact of the group, fundamentalists, that contributes most to school toxicity. I highly recommend this book for school and district administrators who impact school and district cultures. Teachers who seriously want to understand school cultures will also find this book valuable, especially teacher leaders. This book is one of those books that has the potential to have enormous impact on our schools; I encourage educators, especially administrators to take Muhammad's suggestions to heart as you evolve your professional practice to better shape schools that seek to enhance doing what is best for students.
Something Shady
Something Shady
I have watch plenty of low budget movies and shows with amateur actors. Some of them I really enjoy because the story line make up for the bad acting. That was not the case with with show. The storyline is not cohesive and it almost seem as if the characters were making up their onlines. It left me with so many questions. The scene with the mayor and the assistant. They repeated the same lines twice. Dont let me get stated when the girl dropped her daddy ashes. Just terrible. I would give it a zero if it would let me.

Super Area Rugs Silky Shag Rug Faux Fur Sheepskin Rugs in Dark Brown, 2' x 4' Sheepskin
I am giving this four stars because although it is very nice and very well made it is not actually pink like it shows in the pictures on Amazon. I bought it for my daughter's bedroom which is all pink and gray but it does not match any of the pink in my daughter's bedroom. It is a light coral color. I am posting a picture with this review that shows the light Coral rug up next to an actual pink blanket so you can tell the color difference.

Khaki rectangle rug. I just received this so I haven't given it a wash yet. I was really excited to open this and complete the new look in my master bedroom. It's super soft and I think it will feel great on bare feet. However, I immediately noticed an orangey yellow color. I'm not really sure how to describe it, other than not khaki. The color isn't what I expexted and doesn't go with the other colors in my room. I tried to think positively though, I can just put it on my husband's side of the bed, no big deal. I will just order a different rug that will fit the look I wanted. That's when my 9yo son immediately said it looks like Trump's hair. He is right. The color resembles Trump's hair and I can't unsee it.

I bought this phone for my spouse. I am an Apple person 100% and will stick with Apple... BUT... I still love this phone and so does my spouse. If I were to ever switch from Apple to Android, THIS is the phone I would want.
I bought this phone after buying and returning the BLU Life One X-4G. The Life Once X had a huge battery problem. This phone on the other hand has a great battery life. The battery can easily last two full days of usage without a recharge. The initial recharge took a very long time, so I was a little concerned, however, after the initial charge, the phone charges in about 2-2.5 hours. I am not sure what the quick charge thing is, and I have not been able to find many details about it.

The phone is fast and simple to use. I also quickly learnt that it uses a MicroSIM instead of a NanoSIM unlike most new phones (but no big deal, it is easy to switch to a MicroSIM). Installing the Sim card and the Micro SD card is very simple.
I also learnt that though the expandable memory is rated only for 64GB, it WILL accept a 200GB Micro SD card. I highly recommend factoring in the price of a SD card to your purchase before buying this phone, because you will need/want the extra storage.

The phone has a lot of great features, it takes really good pictures as well. For half the price I would've paid for a mainstream phone, I am extremely happy with this. This phone makes the switch from Apple to Android very easy because of the price and because of it's features. It blows the iPhone 6 out of the water, and is honestly comparable to the iPhone 7 if you don't use too many Apple specific features.
It does not have a fingerprint scanner, it is not 'water-resistant', it does not have 3D touch... but for the price point, it's classy and works like it should! If you can live without all those features, then why spend double the money on a mainstream phone?
It comes with a USB-C cable and wall plug, a screen protector already ON the screen (YAY, NO BUBBLES!), an new extra screen protector, and a flimsy clear phone case.

The one star goes off because:
- The display is 720p and you can definitely tell in comparison to a brighter screen.
- I also don't like how the screen edges are not curved.
- It has a cheaper feeling, specially in comparison to the Life One X. The back cover feels flimsy and feels like it will break in my hand
- The cover that it comes with is cheap looking and feels cheap to touch, the Life One X came with a wallet-like case which was much better. It also VERY difficult to find covers/cases for these phones.
