Visionaries: Top 10 Billionaire's Greatest Secrets to Success. (Steve Jobs,Richard Branson,Jeff Bezo,The Walton Family,Mark Zuckerberg,Bill Gates,Elon Musk,Warren Buffet,Michael Bloomberg)
Learning what make these people successful and how they continue to maintain that success left me awed. These 10 billionaires not only climbed to the top of their industries but also became some of the richest people in the world. I feel so inspired on how this book covers about how these people earned the money that they have right now. Some ideas I’ve learned that through determination, grit, and a bit of luck anyone can overcome their circumstances and achieve extraordinary success.
Steve Jobs. La biografía
Steve Jobs.

English:

If you ever used an Apple product, I’m sure you've been charmed with its easy use, simple design and premium materials. Steve Jobs was an inveterate perfectionist, he was capable of starting a project from scratch, just because some detail wasn't as he intended to. He felt the need to have absolute control of his products, from design to manufacturing, this to make sure the user gets the best experience when using them.

Walter Isaacson made a great job, but i think in some aspects he could of have done better. Just to mention some of them, he barely talked about his wife's life and about the decease. But in general it's a great reading, I recommend it, even if you're not interested in Apple products, because in some way it's about personal growth. After being fired from the company he created, he didn't give up, he continued trying to leave a mark on this world, creating a new company (Next) and making new products, and then working with Pixar, taking the animation industry to another level.

In general, I don't rate it with 5 stars because of the Spanish version, this translation is horrible. First, because it was translated to the Spanish talked in Spain, like it was specifically translated for them, using words hard to understand, even after consulting with the dictionary. I have always said products should be consumed in the original language, in this case I regret for not buying the English version.

In short, I do recommend the book and even though you might feel overwhelmed for its volume (700 pages in the Spanish version), this is a must-read for everyone who feels attraction for Apple products and Steve Jobs.

Danny Kaye & Louis Armstrong / The Five Pennies
Warning --under no circumstances buy this new reissue of this classic gorgeous soundtrack. The one which has just come out with "original recording" is the one I am talking about on Hallmark. Dont buy it. Its improperly recorded on a very cheap label. This is not the proper soundtrack that came out with notes and perfectly remixed about five or six years ago on CD, this is a bargain basement version and its AWFUL. I would send it back and ask for my money back from Amazon except for the cheap cost its not worth it. Anyone who knows this soundtrack and listens to it will know what I mean. It is 3 MINUTES LONGER than the original CD release for good reason, all the tracks have been slightly slowed down.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????? I have never come across anything like this before. Danny Kaye sounds totally different. Also the music all sounds slightly off pitch as a result. If Amazon is concerned and serious about their customers or what they sell, they will take it off the market immediately. Go for the original recording, it should not even be on this page with the letters from customers as they are all based on the earlier version. Believe me, DO NOT BUY IT
Duracell DRINVPS175 Black 175 Watt Portable Power Inverter
Duracell DRINVPS175 Black 175 Watt Portable Power Inverter
This is a decent sized inverter for charging portable devices. However it doesn't mention this prominently (it is in the manual and documentation, just not prominent) but it is a modified sine wave inverter.

What does this mean? Simply, the waveform coming out of this device is not as smooth as it would be from the AC mains. It is more of a sharp stepped square wave, rather than a smooth sine wave. As such, some motorized devices may hum more loudly and heat up a bit more. But it is OK for charging solid state electronics.

In the end I kept it but I also now have a pure sine wave Bestek inverter which works really well.
Modalogy: Scales, Modes & Chords: The Primordial Building Blocks of Music
Modalogy: Scales, Modes & Chords: The Primordial Building Blocks of Music
As a professional jazz pianist, author of a text on jazz harmony, and professor for nearly thirty years, I am always intrigued by new work in this field, and was pleased to encounter Jeff Brent's (with Schell Barkley) Modalogy.

After taking some time studying and working with the contents, I've come to the conclusion that this is a profoundly important text not only for jazz players and teachers, but for all musicians. Modalogy provides layer upon layer upon layer of information and logic that beckons the reader to return time and time again.

As the title suggests, the book contains an in depth analysis of modes, with their sources, characteristics, and modal cadences. Along with diatonic modes, the method for establishing commonly used chromatic modes, is unique, refreshing, brilliant, yet in the end, simply applied.

The authors, have developed a Dorian-centric approach to a radially generated cycle (in contrary motion style), which builds a truly symmetrical inside/ outside take on harmony and dissonance. Through this approach, Brent/Barkely take a fresh and somewhat unconventional approach to the organization of scale types, classifying them using a basic color system portrayed over a cube design. It will give the reader a lot to think about, but it works.

The appendix broadens the scope for application of this material into a large body of detailed related information that the reader will find helpful in practicing.

The topics and concepts are presented plainly and clearly in an approachable and down to-earth manner, with great attention to detail. Although of benefit to serious students beginning a study of jazz harmony and improvisation, the text has much to offer advanced students and teachers. Modalogy offers and expansive study that will inspire and challenge for years to come and I highly recommend it.
All or Nothing
All or Nothing
If you want to watch full games and film go to NFL Gamepass. The show is rated Mature. I am tired of all these people who want their children to enjoy a product put out for mature people and give bad reviews because of it, not helpful. Let them watch cartoons or something. And if you wanted this to be a documentary on the concussions of the Arizona Cardinals, sorry to disappoint, there is other things out there for that.
Now if you want to see what a full season and postseason is like for a team in the NFL (not just meaningless preseason games) this is it right here... You can feel the heartbreak, the victories, the pain of the players. It gives you another perspective of what the game means to a lot of people. It also allows you to see deeper into who these players are, some people complain about the cookie baking, cooking, and changing diapers, well I say we get enough of the bad apples on the news and everyone is all over these guys when they screw up, it feels nice to see that they are real men, with real families, and a lot of heart.
As a die hard Cardinals fan:
I love this team, and I really wish Larry gets his ring. No man deserves it more than him in the NFL.
Hasbro - Rival Deadpool Kronos XVIII-500 Blasters (2-Pack) - Red And Black
Hasbro - Rival Deadpool Kronos XVIII-500 Blasters (2-Pack) - Red And Black
This Rival Deadpool nerf guns are the worst. I purchased this item during April for my son's birthday on June (ahead of time-due to the pandemic delays). When he opened his $100 gift, it was defective, the guns are stuck, you can't load them or shoot with them. When I contacted San Marco Toys, twice, they never responded and amazon couldn't give me a refund because I ordered on April but opened the item on June 26, therefore I noticed the defective item on June 26, 3 months after the purchased. I understand amazon's excuse but I do not accept San Marco Toys ignoring my messages. I even have photos, that the guns are brand new in perfect condition, but they are defective from factory. My son never played with this "waste of money toy" and I never got my $100 for a toy that doesn't work. I will never ever buy from San Marco Toys and they have the worst customer service ever. First negative experience on amazon, and I've a amazon customer since they started selling books. Shame on Sam Marco Toys
Charmed: The Donovan Legacy
Charmed: The Donovan Legacy
This was a reread for me and an enjoyable one.

These are the final 2 stories in the Donovan Legacy. A family of witches, each with their own specialty.

In Charmed we have Anastasia story. She is the cousin who is an Empath. She is also a healer because of her strong empathatic feelings. After be turned away by her first love when he found out what she was, Ana has stayed away from men to protect her heart. Then widow Boone Sawyer moves in next door with his young daughter. She fears telling him what she is, then fate steps in. This was my favorite out of all the Donovan stories. It is so good. Emotional and loving.

In Enchanted we have the story of Liam Donovan a witch and a shape shifter. He goes to the woods to be alone to think about an important choice he is going to have to make. Rowan Murray goes to the woods to find herself. They find eachother and she discovers so much more about herself. This story had a lot more "magic" in it. It was fun and the characters wonderful.

Megan's Mate: A Selection from The Calhoun Women: Suzanna & Megan (The Calhoun Women, Book 5)
This is such a great book, that I look forward to going back and reading these stories again like some that I already have, and I am impatient to read the rest of Nora Roberts' stories right now. Hot, Hot, Hot, love scenes, a well written, creative and intriguing story about family plus inventive, vivid characters, all on top of seriously wonderful love and romance. Each story is about one key person, usual in a family, or close group of friends, they are linked through intricate, messy links and it's almost like a movie you get the privilege of witnessing about these people's powerful, emotional, and often times painful journey towards falling in love. Roberts is one of my most favorite author's, and she doesn't disappoint in this series. Her unique style and classy, yet moving love scenes, paint a beautiful picture that leaves a person longing for something similar for themselves. All of that is combined into this fantastic series and make this book a "must-have"!!!! I didn't want to set it down....seriously!! Lol I was nodding off over my book on several different occasions. Worth the price and more to have a Nora Roberts book in your library collection!!!!!!
The Gypsies: And Other Narrative Poems
The Gypsies: And Other Narrative Poems
I know nothing of Russian or Pushkin. I bought this book as I wanted to get a taste of Pushkin and I felt it needed to be poetry versus prose, as poetry was Pushkin's main oeuvre. This book contains 5 story poems by Pushkin. All of the poems maintain dramatic interest and are surprisingly economical in language & length. By reading this, I now have a taste of why Pushkin is as revered as he is. The book has peaked my interest in reading more Pushkin.

The stories are: The Gypsies (which the opera Carmen was based on), The Bridegroom (a macabre folk tale), Count Nulin (which I found very good), The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Champions (re-telling of Snow White turning the dwarves into brothers), and The Tale of the Golden Cockerel (which Rimsky-Korsakov used for his opera and is a political allegory that the Tsar did not take kindly to).

I found the poetic translations to English effective and enjoyable. There are helpful notes in the back explaining various translation decisions & noting some of the special aspects of the Russian poems that are not translatable to English. All the poems maintain a meter & rhyme scheme (though not slavishly following Pushkin's meter). More importantly, the poems are beautiful.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get a taste of Pushkin's poetry. It is one of a few books that focus on works other than Eugene Onegin. I find it odd that so little of Pushkin is translated into English poetry. It is a loss for us as Pushkin is one of the great poets & deserves to be widely read (similar to Goethe, Dante, & so on).

I loved this book...You Have to Read American Dreams First To really get the story line, but you will love it! I like how she left off for Sorrel to have her story, because She needs to come to terms with the guilt of her Father's Death & I really like the storyline her with the "Civil War." Janet is good at Placing Fact with Fiction Which is amazing. If Anyone out there knows of Sorrel's story Let Me Know...Email me the book name..I'm Ready for that book. [email protected]
Dragon Ball Super, Vol. 3 (3)
Dragon Ball Super, Vol. 3 (3)
With volume 3 of Dragon Ball Super we finally have arrived at the arc where the breakneck pace of the manga slows down. Which as it turns out isn't a bad thing, as this volume does a lot to explain some elements of the Dragon Ball universe that the anime glossed over. And that means there is new material for someone who has seen all of Super and wishes there was more.

The arc that this volume introduces is the Goku Black Arc, which in all honesty was my personal favorite of the anime. It's such a treat to have Future Trunks back, though the poor guy's timeline be here seems to catch a break. Seeing his interactions with the much more peaceful timeline is fascinating to watch. Add in New characters like Future Mai and the sinister Zamas and you have a great mix of tension with some classic Dragon Ball humor to boot. A final added bonus is the artwork continues to improve by leaps and bounds, with some very well drawn fights scenes and backgrounds. If you have made it to volume 3 of Dragon Ball Super you are sure to be in for a treat.
The BFG (Theatrical Version)
The BFG (Theatrical Version)
Forget about the box office numbers and the mild reception BFG received from critics and audiences. If you don’t clear your mind and find the proverbial blank slate, these outside influences will taint your viewing and in the process a gem of a movie will be missed. The public reaction initially served to reinforce my general angst and reluctance to shell out $40. I kept asking myself, how could a Spielberg movie based on a Roald Dahl book flop? This wasn’t like most other current movies being produced, which are basically over-hyped schlock (usually sequels) that require mindless consumption of over-buttered popcorn to survive the journey. However, I had a hunch that BFG would be a quality film because it didn’t fit this popular zeitgeist. Plus, the kids really wanted to see it and I am sucker for taking my kids to the cinema. In the end, I am glad I listened to my kids because BFG combines the best of both visual effects and storytelling, making it the type of movie that keeps me and my family coming back.

As a family movie, it doesn’t get much better. BFG spoke to my wife and me, and my two sons, (ages 7 and 9), on different levels yet still allowed us to connect and talk about the film days later. After all, isn’t this the true point of movies – to tell and re-tell the story, long after the lights have come back on and the theater is empty?

For the adults, BFG offers insights into one of the greatest mysteries of aging, the loss of friends and increase in loneliness as the years pass. The BFG himself is a sensitive and complex being who is alone, a hermit of sorts. His only “human” contact is the nefarious giant bullies who periodically intrude upon him and outlandishly degrade him. He is, in a sense, Corey Haim in his most prized role of Lucas, even down to catching dreams in jars via beautiful things that fly. But, when fate connects him to Sophia, an orphan, they begin a journey together that breaks their parallel cycle of loneliness. In the process they establish a love and commitment to each other that develops bonds of true friendship. This is quintessential sappy Spielberg, but isn’t that why we love him?

For the kids, BFG has the excitement of wonder – the main character is a kid, it’s full of giants, there are new unexplored lands, it features the Queen of England and – wait for it – giant farts! What would a movie with a friendly giant be if there wasn’t a juvenile ode to that bodily function that has been captured from Chaucer and Shakespeare to Caddyshack and Austin Powers? Yet, there is far more going on here to keep it from whiffing. BFG conveys to kids in a relatable but non-preachy way that it is okay to be afraid, but eventually you have to stand up to your fears. When you do good things happen.

So, why didn’t BFG reach its potential? A few things methinks. Was there any other book adapted movie more in need of a title change? Even my 7 and 9 year olds knew that the “F” didn’t really mean “friendly.” It also happened to be competing against Finding Dory – which leads me back to my first paragraph. Lastly, its greatest asset was also its greatest weakness, Spielberg himself. More specifically, it is the legend of Spielberg. The man is like King Midas, every movie he touches is expected to turn to gold. He is no longer allowed to make a good, decent family friendly movie. It has to be E.T. or Indiana Jones. If it’s not, then we consider it Hook, which once again brings me back to my first paragraph, but I digress. BFG was, in my humble opinion, a victim of Spielberg’s success. And that my friends is a shame.

So do yourself a favor, go see BFG, but skip the over-buttered popcorn. I guarantee you won’t miss it.
The Business of Heaven: Daily Readings
The Business of Heaven: Daily Readings
I really thought I would love this book. The idea of daily snippets of C. S. Lewis' writings and fantastic quotes seemed like it would make for a favorite of the many of his books that I own but as he is a little 'long-winded' sometimes (understatement), it doesn't really work as intended. There are ideas that he has presented in other books (Mere Christianity, just to name one) that will encompass three or four days worth of readings. This is not a problem in any other way than it doesn't suit single day readings. I loved 'Mere Christianity' and have read it multiple times and think this book will, if nothing else, lead to interest in his other fantastic books and lectures.

Life Of Lewis Carroll
Life Of Lewis Carroll
While most of the territory here has already been covered by biographers, here you'll view some of the countryside and structures that were integral to Carroll's life. Using a pan-and-scan format, you'll see photos both by and of Carroll along with illustrations, artifacts, burial sites, statues, and plaques which commemorate the man and his literary legacy. It's narrated by an elderly British gent whose style of slow, almost lethargic speaking may induce drowsiness in some viewers.

Unfortunately, this documentary fails to capture the magical charm and witty genius that captivated the hearts and minds of his child friends. Instead, it feels like the heavy-handed film you may have had to watch in school. It hardly comes close to inducing any curiosity or satisfying anyone's appetite for Carroll. If you really want to find out more about the fascinating Carroll, seek out Morton Cohen's comprehensive and thrilling biography. If you can't find that, just about any other book on Carroll would be more interesting than this stodgy-dodgy program.
The Story of the Stone, Vol. 2: The Crab-Flower Club
The Story of the Stone, Vol. 2: The Crab-Flower Club
Reviewers often comment on this volume being completely immersive in the minutiae of the daily rituals of the ladies and their maids. I have completely lost myself in this book in the way that I see others reading "Twilight" or "Fifty Shades of Grey" - I have stopped calling and emailing loved ones, and I have stolen more time than possible at work to read this as an ebook. This volume primarily concerns a gilded year at the Rong-Guo mansion. With the Prospect Garden's original purpose nullified (the imperial concubine has no visits scheduled for at least the next year and a half), Bao-yu and all the girls move in and devote themselves to poetry and day long entertainments consisting of crab, rice wine, painting, riddles, actors, and firecrackers. Behind the scenes there is infighting among the maids and tears all around. It's remarkable how easy it is to keep track of the hundreds of characters, but this volume of the novel benefitted from extensive rewriting, while future volumes are often made obscure by inconsistencies from draft to draft. Having read a drastically abridged version twenty years ago, and having seen the two Shaw Brothers film adaptations (1962 and 1978), I am most impressed by what a nice guy Bao-yu is. I previously thought of him as a spoiled and impetuous brat, but the unabridged version shows how sensitive he is to the needs of his female cousins and maids, whom he treats as his equal. He's charming in his devotion to others, especially when he is late for Xi-feng's disastrous birthday party because he is busy saying prayers for her on the outskirts of town. I marveled at Xi-feng's industrious nature in the first volume, but how quickly she became vain and greedy! I love how the lesser maids talk to her in a way that both flatters her but does not conceal their contempt for her amongst themselves. We have master translator David Hawkes for preserving the subtle intentions of such skillful language. Toward the end we get brought back to reality, first with the dramatic conclusion to Xi-feng's birthday which ends with complete exposure of her marital woes and her beating her maid Precious, her only true confidante. The highest ranking servants benefit greatly from their proximity to their masters, but they are also the first to suffer when something happens. Xi-feng and Lian's marriage is an interesting portrayal of marriage in the ruling class. The wives have to bear the brunt of the work and the burden of their husbands' infidelities, while the servants have to hold secrets or incur their masters' wrath. Another example of the excellent writing and translation: we are always aware of the pecking order in any situation. One more compliment to the translation, we have Chinese names for the ruling family, English translations for the servants (Aroma, Precious, Faithful, Skybright), and French names for the actors (Charmante, Élégante). This helps me keep track of everyone. In this volume we are more privy to the thoughts of major characters such as Bao-yu and Dai-yu, of course, and Aroma, Granny Liu, Precious, Xi-feng, Grandmother and Bao-chai. We continue to see the emotional hardship in the private lives of the maids, such as Aroma's dilemma of whether to return to her family or stay and try to guide Bao-yu to adulthood. We also see the desperation of old women like Granny Liu and Nanny Li, though Granny Liu also has a great few chapters that are among my favorite. I was not prepared for her drunken walk of wonderment around the garden. And after seeing Bao-yu's father exhibit the desire to fit in with the women of the family (particularly his unresponsive mother) during the riddle games of chapter 22, we see him revert back to his worst impulses in chapter 33, giving Bao-yu the beating that is usually one of the big scenes in any of the film adaptations. As unfair and sad as that situation was, I was almost moved to tears reading the touching scene between Dai-yu and Bao-chai when convalescent Dai-yu admitted her own shortcomings and realized that Bao-chai is actually a good friend. So beautifully written! And I was reading with bated breath as the ill Skybright summoned her strength to darn Bao-yu's cape with peacock thread when no one else would try - how does a writer get someone to feel suspense over a thing like darning? This volume ends in a good spot: Cousin Zhen explains how little money is coming in to the Ning-guo house but it is not serious yet. Then he lays out how even less money is coming in to the Rong-guo house and that they have had to start dipping into their capital to pay for all their expenditures! He doesn't even know how much they've been spending, but we do: paying off Golden's family following her suicide, building the Prospect Garden, buying painting supplies for Xi-chun to make paintings of the garden, a mass influx of Xing/Xue/Wang in-laws, huge outlays for parties, including foolishness such as bringing in an acting troupe from the outside even though they have one staying there! Ultimately, what is it all for? (SPOILERS AHEAD) Very few outsiders show up for the Rong-guo house's New Year's bash, either due to embarrassment for being poor, illness/old age, or dislike of Xi-feng.
Southern Cross (Andy Brazil Book 2)
Southern Cross (Andy Brazil Book 2)
This book moves fast through the lives of many characters whose descriptions are vivid and often humorous. Cornwell writes well, but her characters tend to 'stray' from very strong to weak to 'out of character' which is frustrating when reading about people of high accomplishment. For example: West wouldn't have screwed around with Brazil in the front seat of a car any more than Brazil would have spent two solid days drinking without ending up hospitalized. They just wouldn't do these things based on their histories. Also, it is bothersome that West and Hammer both treat their devoted animals as if they were inconvenient and unloved - then why keep them? It's disturbing. Also disturbing is West ending up with Raines after pushing him away, then climbing all over him, then rejecting him again. A little more consistency would be appreciated. It seems Cornwall, in trying to make these people more believable, has developed a love-hate with all of them. Unpredictable behavior is not indicative of a strong character, it doesn't fit any of their career choices, either.
For the Brave Wizard
For the Brave Wizard
I was hesitant to buy this because there are so many mixed reviews out there. Now that I have the set and have looked it over, I am satisfied across the board.

When I searched for "Harry Potter Wizard Chess" I got a number of Amazon selling sites. As I understand it, a lot of those sites are for third party sellers who are selling the original version of this Chess set that came out right after the Potter movie debuted. These are "collectibles", and that's always a dicey product to buy through Amazon. Some are new-in-box, some are used, some are misdescribed, some are in poor condition. As I type this there are eight sites - this one, a site for a super high end set, and six sites selling collectibles from a wide variety of sellers, most costing in the well-over-a-hundred-dollars range. I just wanted a fun gift chess set, and this one fit the bill. It is the same as the collectibles, but must be a later run that doesn't count as a "first edition".

Now, for the set. The pieces are detailed and look sharp. You know how some molded figures, especially bigger ones, are a little twisted or misshapened when they hold swords and whatnot? Well, these pieces are "harder" and don't droop or twist. The sizes are impressive. (This set is for three brothers ages 3 to 8, and they are newly into chess and nuts for Potter. This works as a chess set, but it also works as a really neat collection of action figures.) The pieces are molded hard plastic. The bigger ones are a bit top heavy, but not exceptionally tippy. (For what it's worth, the bases are open at the bottom. If you wanted to you could put a weight in the base, (like putty or a quarter coin), and tipping wouldn't be a problem at all.

The board is folded in quarters and unfolds to standard size but is a little cheesy. Separate wood boards generally cost much more than this entire set does, and it would be hard to find a new board much bigger than the one that comes with this set, so I'm not sure what the best option is. If you want an oversize board that gives the pieces lots of room a cheap oversize vinyl board might be the way to go.

As to the rest, the box is fairly durable. The two bags that hold the pieces have drawstrings and hold the pieces comfortably. The set I received was clearly "new in box". No parts or pieces were missing.

Bottom line? The set looks great and the pieces are impressive. It might not be terribly practical for regular chess play, (mostly because of how crowded the board gets), but for an exciting novelty game of chess for kids it really seems to hit the spot. The price struck me as reasonable for the size, detail and quality of the pieces, and as I say you couldn't get this quality "Harry Potter" action play figures any other way. I'm pretty sure the kids are going to go nuts over this, and since you can't play chess with HotWheels it counts as a nice change-up present wise.

Having said that, I love LEGO... and this set definitely does NOT disappoint. The two minifigs (Grindelwald & Picquery) look great and the detail is the top-notch quality you'd expect from LEGO. The main attraction in my opinion if you're talking 'minifigs' is the winged thestral (the skeleton-looking flying horse/dragon). The markings on the face to the two awesome wings give the thestral an ominous and commanding presence. The two wings are a softer type plastic and the two claws underneath the wings provide a perfect final touch. Overall, I give the winged thestral and the two minifigs two resounding thumbs up. The only slight thought I could add would be that the thestral doesn't move... the head and/or legs like typical LEGO horses don't articulate... otherwise, great.

The carriage has great detail and the coloring looks fantastic. There's really only room in the carriage for one passenger, but there's room on the front and the rear of the carriage for someone to ride on the outside. Though difficult to see in the completed build, there are lots of unique pieces with unique colorings in this LEGO set. This adds to the level of future playability with this set as the pieces could be used in a multitude of ways. Long story short... the carriage looks awesome and functions well with the front portion articulating and moving side-to-side as the winged thestral leads.

In closing, I really like this set and I think it looks wonderful. The build was pretty straight forward and the final product exceeded my expectations. I'm fairly certain I will be purchasing more of the Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts LEGO sets.

Happy bricking!
Steptoe and Son / Steptoe and Son Ride Again [Region 2]
Steptoe and Son / Steptoe and Son Ride Again [Region 2]
A wonderful double bill on this DVD: Steptoe and Son & Steptoe and Son Ride Again. Theatrical outing with stars of the original british comedy series. The chemistry between Albert & Harold is remarkable!

The DVD is also in widescreen format which is another reason for getting this DVD.

I've had the video set of the series from BHS who were its distributors when it had been released to vhs & I'm now transferring the shows on the tapes to DVD(s). It'll have to due until someone with a pulse digs this out of the vault & realizes there are a good many fans of british comedy who appreciate its humo*u*r & this series & give us the complete show on DVD. A good place to cast your vote is over at the TVShowsOnDVD site. That's a great way to get the ball rolling. Nothing happens overnight, but it is a good start!

I Highly recommend the Steptoe films & television series to fans of old school british sitcoms of the '60s & '70s.

SCHVUBENR Premium Pizza Cutter - Stainless Steel Pizza Cutter Wheel - Easy to Cut and Clean - Super Sharp Pizza Slicer - Dishwasher Safe - Handles Large and Small Pizza - Corte De Pizza(Red)
The pizza cutter cuts through pizza with ease. The package was easy to op[en and you can view the pizza cutter easily. I liked the handle of the pizza cutter because it is a non slip rubber handle. I would recommend this easy to use pizza cutter to anyone. I was provided this product for my honest review for the friends and family program review.

Colgate Premier Clean cepillo para polvo de dientes extra (Pack de 12)
So I bought these for my son who was deployed. Its important for him to change put his tooth brush often (good hygiene and all that good stuff). Also they move from place to place and then back when training so buying in bulk came in handy and is cost effective when constantly replacing ! At first my son said there were to many and what was he to do with them, then started to give them to his buddies that needed one. The next thing you know I had to order two more times. Good thing it was super fast shipping. Well worth the money and i recommend them to my other Blue Star moms !! More bang for our buck!!
The Unwritten Vol. 2: Inside Man
The Unwritten Vol. 2: Inside Man
One of literature's best kept secrets continues to astound with the turn of every page. If you have half an interest in books, you must pick this series up.

It follows Tommy Taylor, a Christopher Milne type figure, whose father centred a popular series of books on him; books which bear more than a passing resemblance to Harry Potter. Tom's father has disappeared, and a mythical 14th book may or may not exist. Because of the popularity of the books, Tom has long been the centre of international adulation. But after the dazzling events of book 1, he has rather more pressing concerns.

Once again Unwritten's authors play about with the genre, posing questions about the nature of fiction, and the power of storytelling. It's hard to explain without giving it all away, so I won't try to, but trust me you have to read these books. One can't help that if Carey and Gross did write a straight `Tommy Taylor' novel, it would knock 'HP' into a cocked hat. Yet this fictional series is only a small part of what `Unwritten' is about.

I guess because `Unwritten' is a graphic novel, many people wouldn't give it a second glance, if they even know of its existence. This is a great shame. Buy them. Buy them for you friends. Buy them for random strangers. It's time these book were `Unwritten Off'.
Nivona NICR CafeRomatica 670 Kaffeevollautomat, Silber
Nivona NICR CafeRomatica 670 Kaffeevollautomat, Silber
Alles was ich hier geschrieben habe belgbar.Nun liegt es an ihnen welchen Kaffeevollautomaten sie kaufen möchten.
YAHEETECH 2 x Faux Leather Club Chair Accent Arm Chair PVC Leather Barrel Chair for Living Room Bedroom Reception Room
YAHEETECH 2 x Faux Leather Club Chair Accent Arm Chair PVC Leather Barrel Chair for Living Room Bedroom Reception Room
The chairs are ok. Easy assembly with just screwing in the feet. But the chairs are a little shade off of white. it would be fine if it were one of the only white pieces you had in the room, but not good for my little office that has white file cabinets, white trim, a white office chair (for me) and a black and white couch. These chairs look like a yellowish white, when everything else is a bright white. Plus they are not comfy at all and are super light - so clients will know I didn't pay much for them. I may move them into my house and put them somewhere away from anything white, cuz they LOOK nice, they are just not functional.

Winix A230 Tower H13 True HEPA 4-Stage Air Purifier, Perfect for Home office, Home classroom, Bedroom and Nursery, Charcoal Grey
I bought this air purifier for my room because I already owned the Winix 5500-2, which I absolutely love and recommend, and thought that the A230 would be of similar quality, just for a smaller space. I was wrong. My issue with it is the noise level. The sleep mode is actually fairly quite, but I fine fan speed 1 to be a little too loud. Fan speeds 2 and 3 are uncomfortably loud. In retrospect, I wish I had paid an extra ~$60 to buy another Winix 5500-2 or done more research about small air purifiers.
