The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President - Updated and Expanded with New Essays
The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President - Updated and Expanded with New Essays
This is one of the best reads i’ve had all year, for it paints an in depth picture of the pathology that afflicts our current Preidient, as described by a panel of psychiatrists and psychologists meeting at a Yale symposium. Indeed, I made a list of the personality disorders described for him and keep in on my phone; it’s a wonderful reference guide to explain the truly screwed up behavior Trump shows daily. Much of it is expected “e.g malignant narcissism” but also much to me is new (e.g “a present hedonist” who cares not what came before, or what will come after, but only about what’s happening now and how it affects him.)

The rap on the book comes from academic physicians who cite the Goldwater rule, which says you shouldn’t diagnose a person’s pathology unless you’ve examined them directly. I’m an academic and can assure you otherwise. The contributors in the book take that argument on directly, and carefully qualify their diagnoses based upon the behavior they see from afar. They also argue that Trump is the most powerful person in the world with his finger on the nuclear button...understanding his pathology “trumps” all other concerns.

History will reference this book when it analyzes Trump’s personality, pathology, and performance. I recommend it enthusiastically.

Trump: The Biography: From Businessman to 45th President of the United States: Insight and Analysis into the Life of Donald J. Trump
I thought I’d read up on the person that has 45,000 deaths in his tiny, baby hands (as of this writing 4/21/20) and is running our country into the ground. Well, I haven’t learned anything new but I can confirm that he does have family so there’s no reason for him to act like a wild animal. trump has made his money by ripping people off for his entire career. trump is not good at businesses but he is great at dividing a country, racism, passing, the buck, scapegoating, bigotry, collusion, predatory behavior, and lying. You’ll find none of the class and presidential qualities from our past president, in this book about our current orange imposter. Save your money it’s not worth it. I’m sorry we can’t get back the last four years, don’t blame me though. I voted for HRC. But hey, this is all a democratic hoax, right? Right!?!?

Reliable RBP-3000S-LED 3000w Pure Sine Wave Solar Power Inverter 24v 120v 60hz With LED Display (Black)
Reliable RBP-3000S-LED 3000w Pure Sine Wave Solar Power Inverter 24v 120v 60hz With LED Display (Black)
I've had this inverter for 5 months now. I run a fridge and freezer off of it in my garage with 4, 250W solar panels and a large battery bank wired in series for 24V.

This inverter puts out TOO high voltage. At 1st it put out 130V all the time. I wrote to the seller and he sent me instructions for lowering the voltage. I could only turn it down to 126V.

AS far as being able to run 3,000W with 6,000W surge..... it will barely run a consistent 1,000W. I have a watt meter inline with the output of the inverter. As soon as any other load is put on it, the inverter shuts down and must be reset. I can't even turn on a 100w light bulb if the watt meter is displaying 1,000W. I've had it too long to send back now. I just hope that it doesn't burn up the compressors on my fridge & freezer.

Bottom line, I would not recommend this inverter.

EDIT 7/27/2018
I have had this inverter for 18 months now. It still puts out 126V and I am not having any issues with my fridge or freezer. I was originally concerned that the high voltage might shorten the life of the compressors. However, I am now in the school of thought that it may add life to the compressors because the higher voltage helps the compressor start easier, thereby relieving some stress. Remains to be seen.

I just upgraded my to 3 stars. I would have made it 4 stars but the 126V is higher than this product should produce and it does NOT put out 3000W.

EDIT 6/10/2019
I've been using this inverter for over 2-years now. Still going strong but still output of 126V. My fridges are still doing just fine. In fact, I think that the higher voltage makes it easier for the fridges compressors to start upon recycling.

I passed these up for my BF Oct. birthday based on reviews that seemed more negative, but they seemed so cute, so I ordeI red for Christmas. My BF likes a looser fit ( not clingy around the waist), and the XL fit him perfectly. He is 5' 10" and about 190, kind of a big boned, square guy, and they do not cling to him. We certainly did not notice any weird smell, like some reviewer said, and I don't know how they would possibly pill, like some other reviewer said. I ordered Cowhide, Frost Grey and Olive, and he loves them all, and I do, too. We like the notch neck with the button detail and the fact that they are distressed looking. A perfect choice for him! The fabric is nice and not too thin.
Jeff Gordon: Racing Back to the Front--My Memoir
Jeff Gordon: Racing Back to the Front--My Memoir
As a longtime NASCAR fan, I often wondered how Jeff Gordon found his way into the seat of the 24 car and how it felt once he got there. We all knew the basic details, but the specifics were lacking. In his memoir, Gordon fills in the blanks for us, offering interesting insights into how it all came together. More importantly, he offers his perspective on the team, and how decisions are made week to week and how he and the team react to events on the track. When you watch a race, and JG goes from 2nd to 8th at lap 35, you sit there wondering "what happened?" "What are they thinking?" Having read this book, I now have an idea. If I have any criticism for the book, it's that many NASCAR concepts are explained as though he's speaking to a NASCAR novice. While I understand that many people are new to the sport, the majority of the purchasers of this book are bound to be Gordon fans, who know what a "catch can" is. We really didn't need those details spelled out with such "See Jack run" simplicity. That critique notwithstanding, however, the book is a good read. I feel like I know him better now, which should make future NASCAR viewing even more interesting. He really has grown from a naive prodigy into a seasoned champion and leader.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Theatrical)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Theatrical)

Volle Empfehlung!

Beatrix Potter Collection: Volume Two (Wordsworth Children's Classics)
Beatrix Potter's best children stories published into two volumes by Wordsworth Classics. I love these two books even if they include original illustrations by the author but printed in black and white. However, it is a wonderful collection for little children but also a great occasion for grown up people to rediscover the enchanted world of Peter Rabbit and his unforgattable friends.

Love those English authors!! Have read all of the books that she has written that you have available. Wish there were more. Almost didn't get the 1st Hamilton book as it had a poor review. Then I noticed that it was only one person's opinion and I gave it a try. Great writing. Could hardly wait to read the other 2 sequels.

Mr. Tall (Mr. Men and Little Miss)
I always loved the mr men books as a child and now I am buying them for my two little ones to enjoy alongside the French translations I am going to use them as a learning tool. Up until we use them for what I intend we will just enjoy the English version. The stories are just as good as I remembered. Very enjoyable. My little boy especially loves the mr men. When they get older writing is quite simple and bold for them to practice their own reading skills. Highly recommend.

Funko Pop! Movies: Wizarding World - Harry Potter at Quidditch World Cup, Multicolor 2020 Summer Convention Exclusive
Well the figure did make it to my address.... I guess that is the star I gave it. It was carelessly wrapped hence it arrived with damaged box and to add insult to injury a sticker at the bottom of the box which was unrelated to anything came to finish the picture... When yo pay quite a lot of money for a collectable, a customer has the right to expect the product to be properly wrapped... unless of course the box was damaged before it was sent... I am sorry to say that as a collector of 'harry funko pops' I cannot recommend this seller. which is sad because it is one that is hard to get in Europe...

I have purchased many dresses from amazon over the years. I wear dresses every day and have been on a hunt over the years to find a dress that was casual and comfortable enough to wear every day with out people asking me what the occasion was when I went into public. I have found a few from other companies that I have liked but the seem to only come in one or two colors. it was like bobbing for apples in a swimming pool. then there where those dresses I find that were completely horrible and a waste of time and money. well these dresses have made my day. I have purchased 5 different colors so far and I am in love with all of them. this company is not above reproach as the yellow dress I ordered did have some pen marks on it from the person who sewed it I am sure, but hey no one is perfect and its to much hassle for me to send it back for a replacement. but for the most part these dresses are wonderful. they are lightweight for that casual wear during warmer weather but not that (lightweight) meaning toilet paper haha that some dresses profess. I am very pleased with my purchase's and look forward to buying many more of their colors and designs for my every day wearing pleasure. Hope this is helpful to those of you who are as skeptical as I was about purchasing unseen items.

Funko Pop! Disney: Santa Clause - Santa
I am very upset with this purchase. The box came to me smashed and the Funko looks dirty in the face. But it won’t come off. I need this for a gift for a collector and they are not in stock for an exchange. Customer service is not able to help me because I don’t have a card on file. This being a Christmas gift for the collector i am upset to get it in this condition. I wish it was clean because it is a very cute collectible
UPDATE: I purchased a second one of these funko pops and there was no damage and it was in perfect condition. Again they are very cute but order early because if you get a bad one you can return before Christmas if this will be a gift.

This is like a two in one. I have seen both each piece be sold seperately and when I saw it as a bundle I was excited since the price was better. Unfortunately when the items arrived. It looked like they had been previously used and where damaged. The dog was squished and mssing pieces and the other item looked new but when I took the pieces out looked like tape had been ripped off it
Kasa Smart Plug by TP-Link, Smart Home WiFi Outlet works with Alexa, Echo,Google Home & IFTTT,No Hub Required, Remote Control, 15 Amp, UL certified, 1-Pack (HS105)
Kasa Smart Plug by TP-Link, Smart Home WiFi Outlet works with Alexa, Echo,Google Home & IFTTT,No Hub Required, Remote Control, 15 Amp, UL certified, 1-Pack (HS105)
After researching automated light switches and outlets to control my lights, I picked TP-Link because they do not require a separate hub to work. Out of the box, install or plug-in, load the Kasa app and create an account, discover using the Kasa app (connect the device to your WiFi at home) and you're ready to go.

I absolutely LOVE the light switches and the outlet plugs. The online TP-LINK installation videos are awesome; short and concise with clear instructions. These Smart devices work perfectly every time using the Kasa app, Alexa and now the Google Assistant. When the power went out once, the devices automatically reconnected and worked flawlessly. BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!

I bought the Amazon Echo Dot - 4 times - and controlled my lights from anywhere in the house simply by speaking to Alexa.

Then, as of 3/25/17, Google Assistant got in the action. So now I can also tell my phone "Ok Goggle, turn on the Basement" and the two Smart Plugs (one mini and one original-sized) turn on together since I made a "basement" group to include them both.

If you're buying these Smart Plugs or Smart Switches for the first time, the below info will be helpful to know to avoid asking yourself "why is it not working for me the way people say they do?"

1. You need to install the Kasa app and create a user account to operate your devices using your phone/tablet. The Smart devices must be able to connect via the WiFi in your house to be operated remotely (by you not manually touching the device). Although you can still operate the devices manually, you bought these to operate them remotely. The Kasa app let's you name each Smart device (IMPORTANT: NAME EACH DEVICE AND GROUP AS YOU WANT TO CALL IT OUT USING ALEXA OR GOOGLE ASSISTANT) and create "Scenes" to group multiple Smart devices to turn on/off at the same time. Tapping on the device name in the Kasa app opens the options to set schedules, timers and more.

2. Got an Amazon Echo? Install the Alexa app on your phone/tablet, add the Kasa Skill, link the Kasa Skill to your Kasa account (from point #1 above), discover devices, then create Groups - similar to the Scenes in Kasa - and select which devices to include in the group for Alexa to know what you meant to turn on/off at the same time. If you DON'T create groups in the Alexa Skill: A) Simply ask Alexa to turn on/off the individual Smart device name, and... B) Alexa will NOT know which multiple Smart devices to turn on/off at the same time - even though you created a Scene (group) in the Kasa app, key phrase here... "in the Kasa app". After you create a group name and include Smart devices in the Alexa Skill, you'll feel like one of The Jetsons, a Star Trek crew member or a millionaire, with the power to command lights on and off using you voice: "Alexa, turn on the Living Room".

3. Got an Android smartphone/tablet with Android version 6.0 or higher? Google began sending upgrades to those devices to install the Android Assistant - the same Artificial Intelligence (AI) used with the Google Home device (the device that competes with Amazon Echo). Here's the deal, similar to the Alexa Skill, you NEED to enable and setup the Android Assistant using the similar steps I described in topic #2 above: Link it to your Kasa account, create Group names and add Smart devices to the group, etc. To set up your Android Assistant to operate your TP-LINK Smart devices, start by saying "Ok Google, turn on my LIGHTS" - the AI is smart and will prompt you with a bubble for you to setup Google Home interfaces. It's da bomb!

Hopefully this will help you enjoy your TP-LINK Smart devices as much as I do.

If you're thinking "I'm still not sure if I should get these or another brand..." GET THESE!!! You will not regret it. They work great! Also, when I had questions, their customer support was very responsive. The love is definitely there.

My goal is to get my entire house upgraded to use only TP-LINK light switches. In time, as the budget allows, it will happen.

King's deal 100(10color x 10) Latex Balloons 11 Inch Wedding, Birthday Party, Baby Shower, Christmas Party Decorations Balloon
Usually I’m able to look at a product and see the pros and cons, but with this product, I’m having a hard time seeing positives that would make me buy these again. First off, the balloon and cheaply made. They’re thin and they have a powder like substance coating them. I was blowing them up, and I was wiping my mouth, and the paper towel was tinted. Then, with the balloons I inflated, over half popped on the floor after being inflated for about an hour and a half. The last balloon that I inflated popped in my face and flew back at my eye. I’m still having difficulty seeing out of my eye from the pop, since it’s blurry. I just wanted to warn anyone thinking of buying these because they’re actually pretty dangerous and I wouldn’t want a kid to get hurt. I definitely will go with a different brand next time, and I wouldn’t recommend these.
HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documental - Season 1
HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documental - Season 1
I loved it. I'm a big fan of the annual No Laughing Punishment show that Matsumoto features in. I think it enhances it if you try not to laugh alongside them.

The concept alone is interesting. What is humor? What makes people laugh and why? Some of these comedians sit through very funny bits and don't crack a smile but then someone throws an off the cuff comment out and they burst into laughter. Why does that work when the word play or funny set up doesn't? Why is laughter so contagious such that whenever the alarm goes off everyone laughs together?

This show doesn't really answer those questions with anything more than, humor is whatever makes you laugh. There are some bits in this that I thought were dumb and there were some bits that had me rolling (the boxing glove bit really got me)

Japanese comedy is very different from more American styles of comedy so this might not be for everyone, but I think humor is fairly universal so I don't think it should be a big barrier.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and am thankful for Amazon for hosting it with subtitles. I hope they put season 2 on as well.

Home Doctor. Hair Balm Onion-garlic Fortification Against hair loss (Луково-чесночный)
I love this product. I usually leave it in my hair overnight and it makes it feel amazing. I think my hair has grown from using it, but I don't know if it's from this product or the hair vitamins I use.

I'm not sure how it's suppose to be used, but I leave it in my hair with a heat cap for at least an hour and the results are amazing! For the record, my hair type is 3c and it's been color treated and permed. I'd be super disappointed if I couldn't find this item again. :(
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow definer
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow definer
I am impressed...I used to have a similar brow pencil from KIMEKO in the USA but cannot find that product in the U.K,
So I thought I would try the Anastasia brown definer........let me point out I have hardly any eyebrows...a fine very light brown almost blonde set of eyebrows so I need to wear a product everyday.
Wunderbrow worked for a while until it gets a bit heavy/ cloggy on the brush.
This product is quite delicate which I was used to from my previous product so defining my brows was similar as you cannot press hard as you would break the “ pencil” .Light strokes is required.
The only difference is the end of the pencil is angled and quite thin so as I applied one way making “ fake” brows it did not seem to adhere very well........until I started using it up and down on an angle....a bit like when you are colouring in a picture.
Whoa! It worked brilliantly......nice defined natural looking brows.
Whilst the eyebrows slightly disappeared after maybe 6/8 hours I really liked this product.
So if you lacking hairs in the brow dept and want a natural brow on a minimal make up face then this is a godsend.
Also both ends have caps to protect both the brush and pencil, which was lacking in the Kimeko product.

Rani Toor Dal (Split Pigeon Peas) Oily 4lbs (64oz) ~ All Natural | Gluten Free Ingredients | NON-GMO | Vegan | Indian Origin
I made a mistake of ordering "oily" version of tur dal. Out of all tur dals I chose the one I did not want at all. Never knew such thing existed. Not only it is oily but cotton seed oil is used here which is not good at all, actually really harmful for health. PLUS, nowhere in the product description it is said that this item is not eligible for return. Now, after ordering 2 packages of 8lbs and paying $40 I am going to throw all this away. No return, no exchange, no contact info about seller. I order a lot from Amazon and I thought it does things properly. Apparently not. I am really sorry I ordered.

UPDATE I am sorry I wrote such a review, I after all made a mistake. Not sure what rating to give to a product as I do not know how to cook it and I would not buy it at all because of cotton seed oil. But it came in very good condition. I found the seller on their own website and talked to them and they offered me to send it back for a replacement. But it is too expensive to send back 16lbs. So, maybe I will give it away to some Indians that we have in town. Sorry for bad review. Hope, this explanation helps.
