Growing Money: A Complete Investing Guide for Kids

Alpha Girls: The Women Upstarts Who Took on Silicon Valley's Male Culture and Made the Deals of a Lifetime
Alpha Girls: The Women Upstarts Who Took on Silicon Valley's Male Culture and Made the Deals of a Lifetime
Julian Guthrie's penetrating and elegantly written new non-fiction must-read, "Alpha Girls," tells the remarkable story of four brilliant, tough-skinned women who succeed in a man's world, venture capital serving Silicon Valley. Remarkable in part because their stories and those of other women who help launch innovations in technology and other world-changing sectors had not been told.

That should not come as a surprise. Look at the changing demographic of San Francisco's Financial District and the South of Market neighborhood: it's a fraternity of casually dressed tribes, with a few women here and there, populating an economy supported by the men, primarily, of venture capital firms. As Guthrie notes, three-quarters of U.S. venture capital firms have no women investing partners. Of the firms that have hired women as check-writing partners, most have just one woman partner, Guthrie writes. Overt sexism is in part to blame, but so, too, is the wholesale failure in this and countless other sectors to take advantage of how women and indeed diversity can enrich and broaden business opportunities and vision. The point is underscored repeatedly in "Alpha Girls."

These women have done that -- unheralded, until now -- funding and advising Salesforce, Google, Facebook and other major enterprises, as well as many others rooted in simply great ideas, like Hint Water of San Francisco, a beverage company founded by Kara Goldin who wanted to lose weight and quit diet soda. Hint Water is now a $100-million-a-year business.

The four women in this book, Magdalena Yesil, Mary Jane Elmore, Theresia Gouw and Sonja Perkins, were self-starters to begin with, were graduated from very good schools, have perseverance, are resilient, driven and on top of that, moms. They bring a woman's perspective and the book is rich in examples of the differing gender perceptions the women discovered along the way. For example, they found men use philanthropy to advance themselves, while women use it to advanced others. There's a lesson for all of us, among many, in "Alpha Girls."

The Little Yellow Book: Quotations from Chairman Xi Dada (COLLECTOR'S EDITION) (Over-Tone Collection)
I received this book and I believe it's a great medium to encounter President Xi's Thought. However, as an English-only addition without the original Chinese text I feel it is not as helpful as it could be. For instance, Mao's red book has a side by side Chinese and Englis (or German or Spanish) translation. So this would be helpful especially for people who may be using this book academically, to engage with Chinese-speakers, and for Chinese study. So if the publishers could get in touch with me when a bilingual version comes out, that would be outstanding. Thanks.

Jeff Bezos: The Force Behind the Brand: Insight and Analysis into the Life and Accomplishments of the Richest Man on the Planet (Billionaire Visionaries Book 1)
Bezos was born in 1964 Albuquerque to a then unwed mother. ('Pops,' her father, came from a line of settlers - he enlarged the family ranch to 25,000 acres, and was also Regional Director of the AEC. She eventually married a Cuban immigrant of Spanish descent (Miguel) who came here via Operation Peter Pan (15,000 children airlifted in - without parents; his future stepfather was 15 at the time and Jeff would be four when Miguel adopted him). Miguel (Mike) became an EE.

Pops taught self-reliance to Jeff. Usually Jeff worked summers at the ranch; one year he instead got a part-time job at McDonald's. Hating every moment, he quit after a few days and started a summer camp ($600/, for a 10-day event for 4th - 6th graders). Six enrollees (including a brother and sister) - the focus was teaching reasoning. The course included reading parts of 'The Lord of the Rings,' 'Dune,' 'Watership Down,' etc. The science component included space travel, use of fossil fuels, fission generators, etc.

High school valedictorian (speech included evacuating humans for Earth), double major at Princeton - electrical engineering and computer science. .

Bezos decided to start with books in July 1994 because books were the one item in mail order catalogs that fit well with online purchase and shipping - there were so many titles that nobody could print a catalog and send it to every household. In 1994, Americans spent over $60 billion on mail-order products. The first e-commerce sale was a Sting CD in 1994. The Internet solved that problem. Bezos saw the Internet as a channel to reach millions, and books as a product to start with. Amazon began business a year later.

At the time there wasn't much you could get online - Amazon seemed to be an extension of a mail-order store where you got a catalog, then made a purchase over the phone. An Amazon catalog of books would have been larger than the NYC phone directory.

After about 4 months Amazon was doing about $20,000/week in sales.

He had decided to set up business in Seattle because of the tax structure there. (The Supreme Court ruled there would be no sales taxes collected from a company that didn't have physical presence in the state the sale was made - Washington has a low sales tax.) The next warehouse was in Delaware - no sales tax, the third in Reno (no sales tax, close to California.) Today it has a P/E ratio of 230, vs. 37 for Google, 46 for Alibaba, 17 for Apple, and 62 at Microsoft.

More than 100,000 sellers made over $100,000 in 2016, customers spent $200 billion in Amazon in 2017, it has over 40% of the U.S. e-commerce market and over half a million employees. Amazon spent $1.5 billion on shipping in 2016, and took in $3.3 billion from 32 million Prime customers; Prime members spend an average $1,600/year vs. about $600/year for the rest.

Bezos turned to 20 friends/family and raised $50,000 each for less than 1% of the company each. Overall, about 24 people contributed $1 million total for a sixth of the firm. that took about a year. Amazon went public in 1997, bringing in $148 million in revenue at that point. (About half startups make to the 5th year.)

Bezos believed that objectives superseded all other events - if you want to do something, you do it before you set out on doing anything else and you are not done until you succeed. Effort towards significant achievement is not about rewards - its the internal satisfaction.

It took 15 months to et the website ready.

The Essence of Success: 12 Mini Biographies: Richard Branson Bill Gates Nelson Mandela Steven Spielberg Stephen Hawking Chris Evans Frank Sinatra Tony ... and Virgin to Jeff Bezos and Amazon Book 1)
A good way to get a snapshot of several vivid figures from the 20th century.
There are a few annoying faults that do distract from the text:
1) Some chapters have clearly been digitised and not proofread. "Eve" is spelled "Iive", "He" is spelled "Ile" and "DOS" is spelled "I)()S". Really! This is the third edition; have you actually read it?
2) There are far, too many, commas in this, book. Some of which are, completely, inappropriate.
3) Although the 3rd edition was published in 2012, Tony Blair's biog ends with him in government. It also reckons he was 41 when he became prime minister in 1997, as well as asserting that he was born in 1953. Do the math!
In summary, it's worth the money, but won't become a treasured volume in your house.

The Upstarts: How Uber, Airbnb, and the Killer Companies of the New Silicon Valley Are Changing the World
The Upstarts: How Uber, Airbnb, and the Killer Companies of the New Silicon Valley Are Changing the World
Many Americans, not to mention millions of people in other countries around the world, may find it difficult to imagine a world without Uber or Airbnb. Yet Uber was founded only in 2009 and Airbnb a year earlier. (Neither company’s success—or, for that matter, the sharing economy as a whole—would have been possible without the iPhone, which Apple introduced in 2007.) As the cover graphic suggests on Brad Stone’s captivating new book, The Upstarts: How Uber, Airbnb, and the Killer Companies of the New Silicon Valley Are Changing the World, these two iconic companies have been riding the wave of new and ever-improving technology.

Is this the sharing economy?

“Airbnb and Uber didn’t spawn ‘the sharing economy,'” Stone writes, “. . . so much as usher in a new trust economy, helping regular folks to negotiate transportation and accommodations in the age of ubiquitous internet access.” Even before going public, the two companies together were valued at close to $100 billion. There is no evidence that their principals have shared any appreciable portion of that wealth. Nor does it seem consistent with a gentle label such as “the sharing economy” for Uber to resist every effort to classify its drivers as employees and provide them with benefits.

Stone contends that “Together, these companies have come to embody a new business code that has forced local governments to question their faithfulness to the regulatory regimes of the past.” In the course of doing so, both companies have engaged in bare-knuckle fights with local governments around the world. For the most part, they’ve won. But not always. Stone tells the fascinating story, blow by blow.

The five men behind the two companies’ rise

Stone’s book is tightly focused on Uber and Airbnb, with digressions about the many companies that have tried to compete with them, with only meager success for the most part. In fact, in a sense, the book is about the two companies’ cofounders, and especially the two young men who have emerged as CEOs. Travis Kalanick runs Uber. Brian Chesky is at the helm at Airbnb. However, the two companies’ success may well be due as much to the contributions of their cofounders: Garrett Camp in the case of Uber, and Joe Gebbia and Nathan Blecharczyk in the case of Airbnb. All are featured in Stone’s account. They’re all billionaires now, many times over.

The trouble with Uber and Airbnb

Stone makes clear that many of the problems that have surfaced in the news media about Uber have been caused by its CEO. “Chronically combative” (and sometimes abusive), Travis Kalanick continues to generate negative publicity, seemingly on almost a daily basis. Here’s one recent example that emerged in The Guardian—an article about Kalanick’s abusive treatment of one of his company’s drivers. And here’s an even more recent report about the company’s use of software to evade police in at least five American cities and six other countries. These are not isolated instances of controversy surrounding the company: trouble seems to follow Uber with disturbing regularity.

Many of these reports reflect Kalanick’s combative personality, but there are other problems as well. For instance, Anna Weiner wrote in the Feb. 28, 2017 New Yorker about recent reports of sexual harassment at the company: “Uber is, in some ways, a model villain. The company has long inspired Schadenfreude. It has been accused of mishandling customer reports of sexual harassment by drivers.”

A shared reputation for aggression

As a result of the frequent, high-profile accounts of Uber’s misbehavior, Airbnb tends to be regarded more highly. But Stone argues that CEO Brian Chesky is frequently as aggressive as Kalanick. Neither has shied away from blatantly breaking local laws or confronting local officials. “Reflecting on the years 2011 through 2013,” Stone notes, “a person might find it difficult to conclude that one company was the more ethical operator . . . Both CEOs seized the tremendous opportunities before them with steely determination, pausing just long enough to turn around the repair some of the carnage they left in their wake.” Stone adds, “in the end, there emerged an unavoidable fact: Chesky was every bit the warrior Travis Kalanick was. He believed so much in the promise of his company that he was going to fight for every inch of territory.” Both companies racked up so many victories against local officials because their services had come to be regarded as essential by so many residents—and the high-priced lobbyists they both hired managed to mobilize so much support that local officials were forced to back down.

A final assessment

After cataloguing a litany of offenses by both companies, Stone relents in the end. “Both Travis Kalanick and Brian Chesky had made big promises: to eliminate traffic, improve the livability of our cities, and give people more time and more authentic experiences. If these promises are kept, the results might well be worth the mishaps and mistakes that occurred during their journeys; perhaps they’ll even be worth the enormous price paid by the disrupted.” Not to mention that $100 billion the two companies’ founders and investors have amassed.

The Making of Black Detroit in the Age of Henry Ford
The Making of Black Detroit in the Age of Henry Ford
The Making of Black Detroit is a wonderful book, even if the title is somewhat misleading. Beth Tompkins Bates examines the relationship between automaker Henry Ford and the African American in the years between the two World Wars. By the end of World War I, the Ford Motor Company had become a beacon for black migrants. Whatever his motives, Ford chose to open up jobs to black workers even when his competitors would not. Bates then carefully demonstrates how the relationship changed over time: how black workers moved from a position of loyalty (feigned or real) to a position of assertively standing up to Ford by working to bring the United Autoworkers into Ford's plants; Ford was vehemently anti-union and apparently counted on the presence of loyal black workers to keep the union out. Bates' work, however, suffers from some of the flaws of many academic texts: repetitive writing, jargon and an overuse of acronyms. And the title: Several monographs written in the last 30 years or so have described the "making" of Black Detroit (most notably Richard Thomas' Life for Us Is What We Make It), but Bates really doesn't address the development of the African American community. Her work more accurately could be titled African Americans and the Shadow of Henry Ford. This work, however, still will be of interest to those students of African American history, urban history and labor history.
Another Side Of Bob Dylan
Another Side Of Bob Dylan
The 2007 film "I'm Not There" was about Bob Dylan, but his name was never mentioned and his many personas were played by different actors. So, which Dylan is represented on "Another Side Of Bob Dylan"? I read that this August, 1964 album sold less than the preceding one, "The Times They Are A-Changing". I also read that people were puzzled by it and didn't quite know how to react to it upon its release. Having heard the whole thing now in 2014 for the first time, I understand why. Only 7 months after the previous album's release, Dylan unveiled a new music that would soon captivate the world. Abandoning his position as the purveyor of, in his own words "finger-pointing songs", Dylan's songwriting combined social comment ("Chimes Of Freedom") with topical humor ("I Shall Be Free - No. 10" and "Motorpsycho Nightmare") and songs about self-analysis ("My Back Pages" and "Black Crow Blues") and personal relationships ("All I Really Want To Do", "Spanish Harlem Incident", "To Ramona", "I Don't Believe You", "Ballad In Plain D", "It Ain't Me Babe"), moving away from traditional folk music and towards the world of pop currently ruled by The Beatles and similar bands, adding insights from his own unique perspective. Even though the electric guitar was still not used, the melodies were generally more buoyant, the mood generally MUCH lighter, and the lyrics were beginning to exhibit a lot of enigmatic imagery, stream-of-consciousness and clever wordplay to a greater degree than on his previous albums. Dylan the activist was becoming Dylan the pop poet. On this album he planted the seeds for a sound and style that would change pop/rock music forever, and would also make him a major pop/rock force. No wonder his folk-oriented, activist fans, most of whom viewed pop music with contempt, were puzzled, turned off by what was in their eyes a blatant quest for fame. Just to show how influential the album was, 4 of these songs were covered by The Byrds (3 of them on their debut album), and another one, "It Ain't Me Babe", was a big hit for The Turtles.

Just like his previous album, this one is a one-man show, with Bob singing all vocals and playing guitar, harmonica and, on "Black Crow Blues", honky-tonk piano. Just that piano performance alone will clue you in to the fact that this is a different, lighter album. But you would know that already from the first track, "All I Really Want To Do", in which he tells a prospective girlfriend all the things that he DOES NOT want to do, among them, "I ain't lookin' to block you up, shock or knock or lock you up". He is having so much fun that he actually laughs audibly twice during the song. Deliberate humor is evident in "I Shall Be Free - No. 10", a topical rap about such topics as Cassius Clay, the Russians, Barry Goldwater, Cuba and "a weird monkey, very funky". He comes to the conclusion that "I'm a poet and I know it, hope I don't blow it." Still more humor is found in "Motorpsycho Nightmare", in which a weary Dylan seeks refuge at a farmer's house. His troubles start when "In comes his daughter whose name was Rita/She looked like she stepped out of La Dolce Vita", and the fun continues as Rita turns out to be like a female Tony Perkins from "Psycho".

Other relationships are more realistic. In "Spanish Harlem Incident", he is fascinated by a gypsy girl with "pearly eyes so fast and slashing, and your flashing diamond teeth". "To Ramona" is a Mexican-inflected country/folk love song. Dylan soothes Ramona and tries to build up her self-image: "There's no one to beat you/No one to defeat you/'Cept the thoughts of yourself feeling bad". "I Don't Believe You" is about rejection, but the mood is lighthearted so it must not have been too serious an affair. But, "Ballad In Plain D" is dead serious, about love that apparently leads to violence. The violence is implied, not specifically spelled out. And in "It Ain't Me Babe", Dylan is determined to discourage an admirer who wants "someone who's never weak but always strong...someone to open each and every door...someone who'll promise never to part...someone who'll come each time you call". It ain't him, babe.

Dylan did not completely forget his old fanbase. In "Chimes Of Freedom", a long poetic song in which those chimes are generated metaphorically by a thunderstorm, we find imagery such as this description of lightning: "Electric light still struck like arrows, fired but for the ones condemned to drift or else be kept from drifting". Dylan's chimes are for all outcasts, underdogs, the deaf, the blind, the mute, refugees, lonesome lovers, people unjustly imprisoned, and finally, "for every hung-up person in the whole wide Universe". But, on the other hand, in "My Back Pages" the former self-assured activist ("Good and bad, I define these terms/Quite clear, no doubt, somehow") finds "lies that life is black and white" and concludes: "Ah, but I was so much older then/I'm younger than that now."

Alles top, absolut zufrieden!

I bought this to replace my Mikuni that had been taken a part and put back together wrong by the previous user. I put this carb on as when I purchased it. The quad would not idle and as soon as I let off the gas it would backfire and die. Put the air/fuel mix to stock and no change. The idle speed screw would not back out all the way either. Nor could I turn it by hand like I could on my Mikuni. No matter what I tried settings, jets, etc. It would always be the same. Then I noticed that where the carb meets the intake mount there is a an o ring. On this carb, there was a small bb type bump that made the o ring stand out on that point. When it was on the atv I could see a gap between the carb and intake mount where on my Mikuni there was no bb and no gap. I put some of the parts from this carb on my old Mikuni and bam! Starts right up runs great. So If your looking for cheap parts you could buy this. Your looking to replace your carb like I was, don't buy this!!! I should have know better as the description clearly states "You will get the fairly reliable and durable carb" and "keeps your engine running smoothly and prevents engine from lacking of oil or spilling"

One Piece, Vol. 66: The Road Toward The Sun (One Piece Graphic Novel)
In this volume, we wrap up the Fishman Island arc and see the crew set sail for the next island on their adventure. We also learn some more about one of the four emperors in a hilarious encounter involving none other than Luffy.

Serving as sort of an interim volume between the Fishman island story and their next adventure, we get some interesting information and lore surrounding the Neptunians and Princess Shirahoshi, as well as some updates on the status of the rest of the world since the war two years ago. Filled with a great number of laughs, the volume served as a good break from the last couple *slightly* more serious volumes, and allowed for some breathing room before Luffy and crew inevitably get themselves into some more trouble!

Read on, as the Straw-Hat pirates embark on a voyage into the New World.
Honor Among Thieves

Jeffrey Archer is firmly established as one of the great novelists. Unfortunately, even the greats can't be great all the time.

This one was a bit of a let down for me given my lust for Archer's work. The story involves the stealing of the declaration of Independence from the National Archives in Washington D.C. The intended recipient of the stolen works is Saddam Hussein who intends to publicly burn it on the 4th of July 199? in front of a world-wide TV audience.

OK so, it's a cool plot and, given the subject matter, very timely. For me, the problem with this one is the apparent ease with which the actors move around a) Washington D.C. and b) the Presidential palace in Baghdad. Gaining access to two of the most guarded places in the world would require a lot more than a little cunning?

Yes, it's a work of fiction but, there has to be an earthly basis. Nevertheless, the book is intriguing and moves us along at a good pace. As opposed to Archer's other work, I found myself rushing through this one just to get it finished. For me, this one ranks below First among equals, Kane and Abel and way below As the Crow Flies".

This wont turn me off Archer as he has a portfolio that can absorb the occasional hiccup.

3.5 stars.
ABSOLUT KEINE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!!!

The Perry Mason Casebook: The Case of the Sulky Girl / Case of the Careless Kitten / Case of the Fiery Fingers
Always liked the TV series but reading the books is even better. It's hard not to imagine the characters as being anyone but Raymond Burr, Barbara Hale, William Talman & Co but the "real" Perry as invented by Erle Stanley Garner, shows Perry as a slightly more sinister guy, ready to do almost anything to win a case, and, what I always suspected, at least in one of the stories, it appears that his young "confidential secretary" Della is also his girlfriend! Shock horror! But seriously, three great reads in this book which was published some years ago and is not so cheap to buy!
Mistress
Mistress
I've read everything that I know of that James Patterson ever wrote. I include the children's books and the books that JP has lent his name to in the past to support other authors - and I've also read this one (which he lends his name to also) 'Mistress'.
If you are considering buying this book simply because JP has his name on the cover, please think twice. This was the most tiresome book I've read in a long time and I persevered only because it was a James Patterson and I felt sure it would become interesting at some point.
It's clear that the main character has either OCD or an Autistic disorder.....which is absolutely fine I may add (I have two grandchildren who are Autistic). Except that his problems never get recognised at all during the book.....and they never end!!! He has a huge awareness of films and actors and where normally a person would ''stop and think'', this character just relates himself to loads of films and film stars. It's almost impossible to work out what the story/plot really is because your mind keeps getting bombarded by old or less old, films and film personalities.
I simply can't imagine why JP has leant his name in support of this author. I know his own son has problems but......we all have problems and tend to read to remove ourselves from them for a little while; like reading a book?
I never thought I'd leave a poor review for a JP book but here it is. If it's offered for free, give it a go, if not I wouldn't buy it.
I almost feel like a traitor by leaving such a negative review but I'd love to hear other reviews that prove to me that I've got it all wrong. It was simply an awful book. The action picks up towards the end but unfortunately your mind is so full of irrelevant rubbish by that point that it just can't sink in.
Sorry JP. My first ever awful review.

I bought this book as a leaving present for one of my friends he loved it so much i bought a copy for myself too. It is hard to read cover to cover but I enjoy dipping into it every now and then and reading a few predictions. Its interesting to see what they got right and what they predicted so wrong.

Bleach - Tome 57: Out of bloom (Bleach (57)) (French Edition)
Bleach - Tome 57: Out of bloom (Bleach (57)) (French Edition)
Super shōnen manga, je le conseille aux amateurs du genre;

Clifford's Birthday Party
Clifford's Birthday Party
The plot of this book really bothers me, but my son seems to like it. It’s weird how none of clifford’s friends wanted to come to his party because they didn’t like the gifts they bought him—then Emily regifted one of the gifts right in front of one of her friends. It was just weird but it was a cute ending. The stickers were a nice edition but we never wound up using them.
Rules of the Wild: A Novel of Africa (Vintage Contemporaries)
Rules of the Wild: A Novel of Africa (Vintage Contemporaries)
Francesca Marciano's heroine in her debut novel 'The Rules of the Wild' is Esme, a strikingly beautiful individual, full of unfulfilled yearnings and longings. Esme's early years are spent in New York with her mother, her brother,Teo, and her father, Ferdinando, a charismatic Italian poet. After her mother's tragic death when Esme is eight, the family move to Italy where Esme grows up "under the shade of the thick-walled family houses, behind crumbling facades...walking through dark alleys that open between buildings built by Michelangelo." When Esme reaches adulthood, she experiences another loss when Ferdinando dies and realizing that she has lived all her life shielded by her father's personality, Esme feels the need to go somewhere where she is challenged and where she can learn to face her fears. And so, she finds herself agreeing to go on a safari to Kenya with a boyfriend for whom she cares very little, and when it is time for them to return to Italy, Esme, deeply affected by Africa's beauty, decides she wants to stay on.

Shortly after her Italian boyfriend leaves, Esme meets Adam, born and bred in Kenya, who makes a living from taking Americans on safari and, mutually attracted to each other, they soon become lovers. Esme tells herself she is fortunate in meeting Adam; he is good-looking, loving, dependable and reliable - but, having lost people she cares about before, and having learnt never to count on anyone who says they love her, she keeps torturing herself that their relationship won't last. However, when finally Esme comes to accept that she can feel secure in Adam's love, she meets and becomes passionately attracted to Hunter Reed, an intense, driven, cynical and incredibly attractive journalist reporting on the carnage of war in Somalia and Rwanda, and who forces Esme to see the real Africa - both the beauty and the ugliness. Dividing her time between being with Adam on safari in the African bush, and in Nairobi, with the expatriate friends she has made since coming to Africa, Esme struggles to cope with her intense feelings for Hunter, telling herself that it's Adam she really loves and that Hunter will only hurt her. (No spoilers, we learn all about Esme's past very early on in the story and, as this story moves backwards and forwards in time, we know about Esme's relationship with both Adam and Hunter from the very first pages of the book).

Sensuous and intense, with some beautiful descriptions of Africa's spectacular landscape, Francesca Marciano deftly intersperses her depiction of the raw beauty of the African bush with the hedonistic lifestyle of a group of expatriates in, and around Nairobi, who party, drink themselves into oblivion and regularly take cocaine. And it is here that I should say that it is difficult to feel in sympathy with some of the characters in this story, as many of them are self-obsessed, self-interested individuals who are mostly involved in enjoying themselves and mainly interested in what they can get out of Africa - in fact, Esme refers to herself as a weak, selfish and self-obsessed creature who has adjusted the immense African tragedy to her own petty needs. That said, Esme does become more self-aware as the story progresses and, although I found myself losing sympathy with her over her behaviour at times, I found myself caught up in her dilemma and hoping for a happy or, at least, an optimistic ending for her - but do we get one? I obviously have to leave that for prospective readers to discover.

After searching for a little while on Amazon for a replacement controller I found this Oubang controller. I really enjoy the color layout and not only that a pot of tie dyed joystick covers for my right and left joysticks. For the price I feel like it’s jusg as high of a quality of the more expensive controllers. The only issue I found is the battery life is a little less than a standard controller but it’s not enough of a difference to not buy the controller. Once again I am fully satisfied with this product and recommend it for all gamers alike.
"anti snore pillows"
"anti snore pillows"
I have to be honest, I hate memory foam pillows. However, after recent neck injury, a shredded memory foam pillow was suggested as slighty softer than a single memory foam pillow. It took about 5 nights to get it right, too high as had another pillow below, too low without. But after about 4th night i noticed that i hadn't been woken up in night as much with pain. By the 5th night I had best night sleep I have had in months. It's not a cosy snuggle down pillow, and in fact is quite heavy. So if reading or watching tv i use a softer pillow on top of this one. But know if I fall asleep on a softer pillow I will wake up shortly with awful neck pain. Anyone who has been deprived of sleep, for whatever reason, babies, ill health, insomnia...know how it affects your whole life. Not just your life, but everyone around you suffers too. It might not work for everyone, it's certainly not a miracle cure for my pain. However, it does allow me to have a few hours sleep undisturbed by pain, and that to me is priceless. Thank you so much.

GESMA Screen Protector Compatible for iPhone 12 Pro Max, [3 Screen Protectors+2 Camera Protector+1 Tray][Touch Sensitive]Tempered Glass Screen Protector Compatible for iPhone 12 Pro Max 6.7inch(Clear)
I’ve always bought and installed my iPhone screen protectors since iPhone 4s. This one is by far the easiest to install. All that you need is provided in the package. Wet wipe the screen, dry wipe the screen, use the sticker to pick up any dirt left, put the container thingy on the phone, peel off the screen protector to expose the sticky part and place it within the bounds of the container and voila the screen protector is on with no bubbles. The protector feels very smooth,
Im liking the screen feel more with the protector on them not. I’m very happy with this protector.

Also the camera lense protector is very easy to install, it just snaps in place. I tested my camera and the lidar and they works great with the cover on.

I have two phones, attaching images to show the protector on. The back protector in the pic seems miss aligned, it’s not, it’s just the angle how I took the pic.

Sourbh Women's Fancy Georgette Plastic Mirror Work Saree with Un-Stitched Contrast Blouse Fabric
I was extremely excited to receive my saree. I was going to be supporting a group that goes around promoting Bollywood and the culture. When I received mine, the material was cheap and falling apart. The silver lining to look like gens would have been fine if the quality of the work didn't look as if the person made it, did it in the dark. I was very displeased with the material that I ended up not using it at all. I do not recommend this product at all.
Crockpot SCV700-KC crock pot, 7 quarts, Charcoal
Crockpot SCV700-KC crock pot, 7 quarts, Charcoal
(My opinion & experience) Extremely disappointed in this Crockpot Product: 1) Box was partially opened & only partially taped in one side__b) Crock didn't FIT - it was too SMALL for this Heater/Warmer and slid all over the place inside the Heater/Warmer__c) Because Crock didn't FIT, it never heated evenly and not at all at one point - this Crockpot would never be able to cook or warm up anything! I have owned several Crockpots thru 50 years so I DO know how they are suppose to work! FYI: I put my hand inside one side of the Crock when it was inthe Heater/Warmer turned on High but only ONE SIDE got even warm, another side luke warm, another side COLD__ bottom warmed up eventually but took way too long! Seriously, a Crock that doesn't FIT in a Crockpot?? I felt this product must have been a mistake on the assembly line but someone wanted to try and push it thru anyway hoping the buyer wouldn't have a clue!! Wow! Extremely disappointed in this 'Crockpot' Product!! Product color was gorgeous - only think good about it, sadly! Such a shame....I was so looking forward to making a nice Crockpot full of Chili on this cool day....instead had to use my old stew pot ontop of the Stove which will still be yummy, but......it will do until I do my research & find a GREAT New Crockpot! I am returning this Crockpot tomorrow (THANK YOU, Amazon, for the great Return assist as always! Love Amazon!)!

Gustaf's Traditional Dutch Coin Licorice 5.2 Oz Bag (Pack of 3)
MADE WITH PORK!!!
The images of the product (on Amazon) show the ingredients, but there is no indication that it is made with PORK GELATIN!
I found out after eating a few, and was horrified as I do not eat pork.
This is deceptive and very dangerous, disrespectful to our religious, our vegans, and many others who don't eat pork.

Kudos to the other reviewers! This is the genuine delicious taste of licorice that I was looking for. You guys are awesome :-)

Shame on the seller! The product was dry and brittle on the outside. It's still moderately ok on the inside--and it's likely the candy is ruggedly chewy if properly fresh--but having to crunch through dry, stale stuff to get to the chewy part is. If this is really how the product was meant to be, texture-wise, then let this be a heads up to other American customers: this is a radically different mouth-feel from what we're used to in candy, and you may, like me, find it highly unpleasant.

This was the perfect weight and color cardstock for my mini albums, and the price was excellent. No bends, dings, or odd cut sizes as sometimes happens (I often have to trim paper that is factory cut to 1/16 or 1/32 over what the size should be); the paper came in excellent condition. Also, their customer service reached out to me to make sure I got my product and was satisfied. Nice to know that they’re interested in maintaining customers, even through their Amazon seller’s page.
