Jeff Bezos: Die Macht hinter der Marke (German Version) (Deutsche Fassung): Einblick und Analyse des Lebens und der Erfolge des reichsten Mannes dieses ... (Billionaire Visionaries 1) (German Edition)
Jedes zehnjährige Kind in Deutschland würde an diesem Text verzweifeln.
Thursday’s Child – The Mike Kendrick Story
Thursday’s Child – The Mike Kendrick Story
This book is a hoot! Especially when you know it is all true. Mike Kendrick is one of the most driven people you will ever read about. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, keeps him from accomplishing whatever he is trying to achieve. He is extremely adventurous, witty, and just a hoot. i think he has some Robin Williams in him...all the good parts. He is hilarious but keenly driven. His accolades are well-earned and well-deserved and his direction over the last few years is to eliminate the millions of explosive mines that still exist in this world. If he can save one life or one limb, his time has not been wasted, and he has certainly been successful. I highly recommend this book as it is so funny, yet sincere, so dangerous at times that you cannot put the book down, and so delightful that you want more. I cannot wait to read the next book called "The Branson Years." I recall that Richard Branson said he had more on you than you on him!
The Eldest Daughter Effect: How First Born Women - like Oprah Winfrey, Sheryl Sandberg, JK Rowling and Beyoncé - Harness their Strengths
The Eldest Daughter Effect: How First Born Women - like Oprah Winfrey, Sheryl Sandberg, JK Rowling and Beyoncé - Harness their Strengths
Lisette Schuitemaker discusses the characteristics and possible advantages or challenges of being an eldest daughter, and also how the birth order of a child influences their developing view of themselves and the world. READ THIS BOOK to discover some of the qualities that distinguish the first born, which include an extraordinary sense of responsibility, a tendency to take the lead, a fear of making mistakes, being hit hard by criticism and caring for others to the point of exhaustion. First born children sometimes have an innate intelligence and do better at school than their younger siblings and often become accomplished leaders in whatever field they chose to go onto. We also will discover the characteristics of the second child and middle child, and how they also develop qualities which help the family to be more united. Each child offers special advantages for the family unit. Some of the eldest daughters discussed in this book are, Sheryl Sandberg, Lady Gaga, Whoopy Goldberg, and Meryl Streep. A good read for eldest children and parents wishing to know more about the uniqueness of their children, and also for understanding that the family is a unit where everyone finds the space to express themselves.

Donald Trump for President 2020 Keep America Great Flag 3x5 Feet with Grommets Plus 10 Trump Stickers
I love this country and I love our president. As soon as I installed the flag I have felt safer and more secured. As I stood back to admire the beauty that was before me, a bald eagle flew over and the high school band down the street starting playing our national anthem. The resale value of my house increased the minute a breeze picked up and caught the flag. It was truly a magnificent day indeed.
Ever since that day, life has been good to me. I got a promotion at work, I won a local raffle, I’ve slept better at night, my kids are getting straight A’s in school, my wife’s gives me back rubs every night, ...it’s really been a life changing experience. Greatest investment to date!
Love All The Hurt Away
Love All The Hurt Away
そして「It's My Turn」。

Merci Monsieur ARMSTRONG.

Revlon Kiss Lip Balm, Tropical Coconut
Love this product. I think it’s the first time I use a balm to the end. I couldn’t find in stores anymore so I’m glad I found it on amazon to purchase it again. It took me time to find a balm with spf, tint and price that I liked. Just like every chapstick it doesn’t last very long, so I always have it with me for reapplying. But even though the sheer fades away, the product still leaves a tint on my month for a longer time.

Schumacher XI14 140 Watt DC to AC Power Inverter
This 140 watt inverter promises enough power to charge any smart devices.

Pros:
- one 3 prong grounded outlet (simple is best!)
- extra 5V*2A=10W usb outlet
- yellow status light
- swivel neck

Cons:
- manufactured years ago
- fan is not loud but certainly noticeable.

Note: Most passenger vehicles have a somewhat 100W or 120W limit on their cigarette lighter socket plugs. Make sure that you check your vehicle's manual when calculating power capacity for your needs.
PILOT Precise V5 RT Refillable & Retractable Liquid Ink Rolling Ball Pens, Extra Fine Point (0.5mm) Red Ink, 2-Pack (26082)
PILOT Precise V5 RT Refillable & Retractable Liquid Ink Rolling Ball Pens, Extra Fine Point (0.5mm) Red Ink, 2-Pack (26082)
I've been using the regular Pilot V5s since the 3rd grade--argued with every single teacher I had through to the 12th because I refused to trade them in for a #2 pencil, even when I had to bubble in ScanTron forms (I don't know about other ink pens, but the machines all seemed to read my answers fine). 23 years down the road and I have never found a writing instrument I like better until this baby.

I write/sketch a LOT. My local Sam's Club used to sell the regular v5's and I would go through an entire box within a few months. They stopped carrying them for some bizarre reason and I stupidly decided to take the opportunity, stray and try to find a "better" pen. I don't know why I did that because I have been quietly stressing out this past year, trying everything from the Zebra 301, Le Pen, the Sharpie pens, Triplus Fineliners, Uniball Signo, Schneider, the Japanese Sarasa's... the list goes on and on... and hating my life/myself in the process. Finally, I gave up and decided to order a crapton of v5's from Amazon. I had no idea that Pilot had come out with a retractable version so I decided to give it a whirl, and oh my sweet baby Jesus, this pen is a game changer.

I still prefer the weight/thickness of the original v5s, and I do wish the metal clip didn't extend down as much, but the grip is more comfortable AND the retractable feature more than makes up for it (no more lost pen caps, yay!). The ink flow is the same, consistent and smooth. Just like the original, the retractable v5s produce sharp, precise lines without a lot of pressure which is great because I have some mild carpal tunnel that flares up from time to time.

Bottom line, buy these pens.
X-Men: Days of Future Past - The Rogue Cut
X-Men: Days of Future Past - The Rogue Cut
THE FILM: I'll just cut to the chase. Was it worth the wait for this longer cut of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST? Yes, and no. While not essential in terms of the overall story arc, the additional scenes with Rogue give some more time to the future timeline and restore some balance with the 1970's timeline. However, I sincerely feel like only Rogue fans (and apparently there are plenty, otherwise they wouldn't have released this) will appreciate that it's her. The most significant addition is a cool sequence which has Magneto and Iceman rescue Rogue from Xavier's school, which has been taken over for research purposes with Rogue as the test subject. Besides that, there are some additional character/dialogue snippets. Rogue's function in this longer cut is to replace Kitty Pryde when she is severely wounded during one of Wolverine's fits. I actually thought this made quite a bit of sense, although the difficulty they have to go through to procure her probably didn't. Other little changes I noticed was an alternate version of a short scene where Wolverine tells Beast he doesn't survive in the future, and a humorous mid-credits scene with Bolivar Trask in Magneto's former prison. Ultimately, I feel about the same way about both cuts. The Rogue Cut feels a little more complete, as there is more weight placed on the future timeline and therefore more events can play in parallel. However, aside from the rescue sequence, Rogue merely functions as a plot device and doesn't really add anything to the overall story. For non-Rogue fans, the theatrical cut will probably do just fine although this longer version does have its merits.

THE EXTRAS: There is actually quite a bit more material here than was provided with the "Ultimate Edition" that I reviewed last year. On the feature disc, there are separate audio commentaries for each cut of the film. That alone makes this worth a purchase, in my opinion. As for the featurettes, the 50-ish minute "Mutant vs. Machine" hit a lot of the same beats as the collection of featurettes in the previous release, although there was additional interview footage that went into information specific to the Rogue Cut. More valuable and insightful, in my opinion, was "X-Men: Unguarded," which was a 30-minute informal round-table discussion with much of the cast, and led by Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg. It was interesting to me to hear the cast candidly discuss their experiences on the films and working with each other. One thing I did notice at the end was the 2014 copyright date, so this feature could have potentially gone on the previous release, but I guess they wanted to save some stuff for this. Beyond all of the above, there are additional galleries of storyboards, costumes and concept art, as well as a mostly worthless "sneak peek" at the upcoming FANTASTIC FOUR movie.

OVERALL: The question on most people's minds is "Should I get this or not?" The answer to that is yes, regardless of whether or not you shelled out for the "Ultimate Edition" last year (which had the 3D version of the theatrical cut). With this "Rogue Cut" release, you get both versions of the film in 2D, along with commentaries for each, something that even the previous releases did not have. The special features in general are all unique to this version, although this probably won't matter to people who just watch the movie. For those who held out this long, the "Rogue Cut" is the one to get. For everyone else, there is enough new material here to warrant a double dip.
The Cabin In The Woods
The Cabin In The Woods
The Cabin In The Woods.

Certificate:15/R

Genre: Horror.

Running Time 95 Minutes.

Synopsis.
Five friends embark on a short break at a remote cabin, where they get more than they bargained for as they soon fight for survival against cannabilist zombies, but what is the facility below the cabin & what's it's connection to the mysterious goings on surrounding the cabin in the woods?

Timelord Thoughts.
How do I even begin to describe 'The Cabin In The Woods?' Well "different" is probably the best way to sum up this horror movie because writer Joss Whedon & Drew Goddard who also directs the movie play upon the concept that we horror fans know all those typical horror movie clichés & then this duo only go & pull the rug from out under us & give us a movie that is so fresh, unique & dare I say original.

The group of victims.... i mean adolescents consists of Kristen Connolly (Dana), Anne Hutchison (Jules), Chris (Thor) Hemsworth (Curt), Jesse Williams (Holden) & Fran Kranz (Marty) & for those who don't know the rules of horror here's a basic guide to some of those typical horror movie cliches.

1)The opening, five friends decide to take a short break in a abandoned cold creaky cabin in the woods because hotels are just so clean & warm & being cosy is so boring (check).

2)The five characters must include a nerd, a jock, a virgin, a stoner & popular girl (check).

3)A creepy old man at a run down petrol station who will be ignored when he waffles on about not going to the mysterious cabin because it's cursed (check).

4)Upon discovering a secret basement in the cabin the five adolescents decide to explore only to find a vast array of strange relics & artifacts where one member of the group will randomly read a ancient scripture & in doing so reawaken bloodthirsty zombies (check).

5)Facility below ground under the cabin were the workers take bets on what the group will choose to prey upon & slaughter them (Erm, hang on, what?).

6)Cabin is actually part of a facility that actually house's a vast array of creatures, monsters, vampires, werewolves, mutated snakes, a merman etc (what is this nonsense?, this ain't part of the horror cliché rules?).

Exactly, so you think you know your typical horror clichés then think again because 'The Cabin In The Woods' throws that rulebook out the window & catches audiences off guard because were then left clueless as to what is going on & instead we have to try & figure out this movie's unique mystery for ourselves.

The plot is basically 'The Dark Gods' who once ruled the Earth & a ancient ritual run by the facility of luring various groups of people which must include a virgin into the cabin in the woods to be slaughtered by whatever monster the group unwittingly choose from the various relics in the cabins basement but it's is up to the Gods to decide whether the virgin who in this case is (Dana) lives or dies but if the sacrifice is not completed, the old Gods will come to the surface & thus destroy mankind.

Writer's Joss Whedon & Drew Goddard have come up with a cleverly twisted original concept & crafted a suspenseful chilling horror movie which is well acted by the young cast that includes Thor himself actor Chris Hemsworth in one of his earlier movie roles & it's easy to see why he's gone on to bigger things because Hemsworth has that leading man charisma factor to carry a movie.

Director Drew Goddard tightly paces this movie keeping the pace moving quickly while slowly building tension by allowing the audience to piece together the clues as to what's happening which is a engaging clever idea, the movie's final pay off makes perfect sense & doesn't disappoint (good luck Hollywood in trying to pitch a sequel) while the kills are old school horror & gory, so none of that PG-13 diluted rubbish here.

'The Cabin In The Woods' is a marmite horror movie that some like myself will love while other's won't get the premise & loathe it as a silly pointless movie but with the current spate of Hollywood remakes, reboots & cheaply made found footage tripe 'The Cabin In The Woods' is a cleverly crafted masterpiece which takes a tired old well worn formula & injects something new & refreshing into the mix with the end result being a entertaining, unique suspenseful horror movie.
Top Gear (UK), Season 21
Top Gear (UK), Season 21
Top Gear has turned 21 in its series and has never guaranteed to grow up from the car antics that we all know and love. So it was by no surprise that, to celebrate the start of Top Gear’s 21st season, the presenting trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May preferred not to embrace the wisdom of being older however, these three presenters get to revisit and relive their lost youth – with shows that showcase the carefree of all car fans entertainment with high speeding, quirky sense of humor and massive explosions. So season 21 of Top Gear is business as usual. My favorite episode shares the heart of the show has the presenters’ bid to prove to their “teenage producers” that the hot hatches of yesteryear were superior to anything available in the 21st century. We see the Electric cars at their finest, A Trek through the Ukraine, A 2 episode tour in Burma, The guest are good and some say that he knows his way around any car and others say that he was an Alien on Dr Who. We call him the Stig! If you are an avid fan of Top Gear, you will enjoy this season as well.
Doctor Strange (2016) (Theatrical)
Doctor Strange (2016) (Theatrical)
The best of everything.

1st: Cumberbatch at the height of his powers giving us a seamlessly brilliant performance - physically, intellectually and emotionally. Not to mention comically. He's never looked better, been more perfectly cast, or given us a subtler or more believable character arc..

2nd: The special effects. The world-bending is impressive, of course. But the "simple" effects of astral bodies and mandalas of light immerse us in a reality that becomes our own. The Cloak of Invisibility deserves it's own Oscar.

3rd: The story. This is the origin story that truly captures the sense and tone of Marvel, that set it apart, always, from all other comic purveyors. Doctor Strange was always the most unique, because nothing came from outside. He was not bitten or radiated or alien or a mutant. He's a man, just a person, and his power was always inside him. He'd already chosen the path of serving and saving. Now, he only has to overcome ego to actualize his true power.

4th: The Cast. It's a wonderful thing to be surrounded by this deepest bench of amazing talent. Every line, movement, interaction rings true to the world of the movie and connects the audience to the characters.

It just doesn't get better than this.
The Complete Works of Henry David Thoreau: Canoeing in the Wilderness, Walden, Walking, Civil Disobedience and More
The Complete Works of Henry David Thoreau: Canoeing in the Wilderness, Walden, Walking, Civil Disobedience and More
What a nice item to have access to on my Kindle. I have various hardback copies and paperback copies of Thoreau’s work stashed here in my home; some of which I have had for years and years. These copies are fine and dandy and I love each and ever one of them but the Kindle edition gives me the mobility I seem to need more and more each year.

In my opinion the works of Thoreau are timeless. Like many others I was introduced to his work via his essay on Civil Disobedience and of course Walden. Now I will not lie to you and say that I enjoy all of his work equally. As a matter of face some of his writing makes my eyes roll to the back of my head. That is okay though because the works I do like more than make up for those that I don’t.

This edition gives me the opportunity to read what portions I want to read and when I want to read them. Some works relax me, some inform me, but I must tell you that all of them, even those I am not overly fond of, make me think and ponder. This is a good thing. This is not the sort of book you will want to start at the first page and read straight through...take it in small doses and think while you read. Hey, it works for me.

There is one thing I have observed over the years. Those individuals who were ‘forced’ to read these works via mandatory reading lists in either H.S. or early in their college career (myself included) have a dim view of Thoreau and his writing. If you fall into this category, I would suggest you give him another shot now that you are older. You may quite well be surprised at your change in attitude...on the other hand, maybe not. Just give it a try and see if it works. I know that my view has changed year after year and now that I am well into my dotage I find a new appreciation and feel I now “get it.”
Dragon Ball Super: Broly (Original Japanese Version)
Dragon Ball Super: Broly (Original Japanese Version)
01) FUNimation's BluRay has a green overlay over the video, as seen in the photo attached. This BluRay is NOT the original quality, and due to the green overlay that they filtered in, the movie now has more artifacts. They basically lowered the quality of the film from its original Japanese rendition. It seems the culprit here is the "BluRay Editor" who is credited as Jeremy Jimenez, and it somehow passed QC like that, even though they had five people doing QC. It looks like FUNimation needs to step up their quality and control game because this is just awful. I'll add media info data on the bottom of this review.

02) The Extras in the BluRay are all there except for one. There was a series in the Extras called "...Answers Your Questions," where the voice actors answer questions. Pretty standard, right? Well, "Vic Mignogna Answers Your Questions" has been removed from the release in both the DVD and BluRay. You can see the screenshot of the files included in the BluRay attached to this post. To those that don't know, Vic is the English actor for Brolli/Broly, and because he was accused of sexual misconduct allegations by the voice actor of Bulma, Monica Riel, he's now dejected from FUNimation as a whole, even without any evidence. Thankfully, he's still credited and they didn't change his voice actor, even though I don't watch the English version anyway.

03) The subtitles are done terribly using English dub terms, taking away from its Japanese authenticity. "Freeza" is now suddenly "Frieza." Yet, FUNimation adds a notice to the BluRay stating that it was an order from TOEI to keep its authenticity, as seen in the attached photo.

04) The movie itself is the best in the entire Dragon Ball franchise, hands down. The best animation and the best artwork as well. Toriyama Akira managed to fix and remake a character with no personality that a large chunk of the fanbase despised, yet only loved for his appearance and malice. This new Brolli/Broly is such a sympathetic character with background and depth. His rage makes sense. His transformation makes sense. The fact that he's so powerful is a little wonky, but just go with it anyway. It makes a great story. TOEI hit it out of the park when it came to depicting Toriyama's story and designs. Is this a good movie? 100%. Thank you, TOEI & Toriyama. But what the hell, FUNimation? I'm returning it and buying the Japanese copy of the BluRay, even though it's much more expensive. If you care about authenticity and quality, then you should too. Otherwise, this is fine for anyone who's casual or just don't care.

Twin Knights (Princess Knight)
Twin Knights (Princess Knight)
I bought The Twin Knights from a local book store at the same time as I bought the two volumes of Princess Knight.

Like the other reviewer, I'm a bit disappointed that the publishers chose to change the style of cover between the first part of the series, and its sequel. This is not a deal-breaker for me, but considering that all three volumes are the same size, I'm surprised that they did not attempt to create a more cohesive "unit" of books.

The story, however, is just as charming as ever. The Twin Knights picks up from where Princess Knight left off, introducing the birth of Prince Daisy and Princess Violetta, the ill-fated children of Princess Knight's protagonist Sapphire. The story reads sort of like a readjusted version of Princess Knight at the beginning; it eliminates the concept of "boy" hearts and "girl" hearts, but still plays with societal expectations of what boys and girls are supposed to be and do.

Without adding spoilers to the discussion, I will say that this is a nice little addition to the Princess Knight story, but not strictly necessary to find closure with Sapphire's tale. It is also not necessary to have read the Princess Knight story to be able to pick this up and enjoy it. While it has references to the original series, it still stands as its own work, and is still a worthy read.
Never Never (Harriet Blue Book 1)
Never Never (Harriet Blue Book 1)
First, I must admit I am biased against justifiably well-known writers lending their name as co-authors of books written by lesser known writers. I haven't read all that many of them, but those I have read seem to have difficulty establishing a consistent voice. That may be because I read the book expecting James Patterson, and end up getting Candice Fox. Ms. Fox has won some writing awards for her novels, and she may well be quite gifted in her own right, but neither writer should be pleased with this book.

I recently saw an interview with James Patterson in which he compared this book's main character, Harriet Blue, to Lee Child's great character Jack Reacher. Both characters are capable fighters, willing to engage nearly anyone at the drop of a hat, but there, the comparison ends. Where Jack Reacher is analytical to the extreme, Harriet Blue is driven primarily by emotion. Life has been hard for her and her brother, shuttled from one foster family to another while growing up. Harriet is suspicious and afraid of close relationships, and her brother, as the book opens, has been arrested for a series of rape/murders. Knowing that Harriet is her own worst enemy, and will not be able to stay out of the investigation of the charges against her brother, Harriet's supervisor, Pops, sends her to investigate some people gone missing from a large uranium mining operation out in the desert (the Never Never, as its called). While she doesn't want to leave her brother, Harriet takes the assignment and heads for the Never Never.

The uranium mine, to which Harriet is sent, is remote. The work is hard, and miners work a four week rotation with three weeks on, one off. It's not unusual for miners to quit unexpectedly, so the fact of a missing miner or two does not disturb the corporate directors who are most concerned about keeping costs down and avoiding bad publicity. An environmental group maintains a permanent presence at the mine, and their constant demonstrations and, sometimes, vandalism, makes them suspect.

Another complication for Harriet is Edward Whittacker, a police officer from another department that has also been sent to the mine to investigate. Is he there to investigate the disappearances, or to spy on Harriet? We meet irascible Head of Security Linebacker, charming Supervisor Gabe, and drug dealer Richie. Two more mine workers turn out to be missing.

"Never Never" might broadly be called a police procedural, but there is very little description of how police investigations go. Harriet and Whitt question one person after another without much purpose to the interviews. Because Harriet is "a female Jack Reacher" the interviews often become confrontational. There are several fights.

My problem with this book is that none of the characters come alive for me. Only two, Harriett and the killer, are given any space for development at all, but we remain clueless about why the murderer started killing people, except that he's nuts; and Harriet remains so unexplored as to be uninteresting. Because its supposedly a "James Patterson" book, the chapters are short and the story moves along, but this book could be Exhibit 1 in an argument about why well-known writers should not partner with lesser talents just to sell books. I will not read more books in this series.

Case Closed, Vol. 20
Case Closed, Vol. 20
This is the second appearance of Kaitou Kid (known as Phantom Thief Kid in the English version), and this case takes on a darker tone.

Serena is invited to a gathering of an online magic group, which takes place high in a snow covered mountain. She brings Rachel along with her as she sets out to meet her 'dream' man for the first time, but trouble soon follows as the group gets snowed in with a murder bent on revenge.

This case not only has many of the great moments that make up a good Case Closed file (interesting characters, unique methods of murder and discovery), but it also takes a deeper look into the man behind the mask of Kaitou Kid, and his relationship with Conan.

In addition, you get the added bonus of the second case, with another great returning character, Yoko Okino.

(Funimation has not yet dubbed these cases)

ANNE RICE: SERIES READING ORDER: THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES BOOKS, SLEEPING BEAUTY STORIES, MAYFAIR WITCHES BOOKS, NEW TALES OF THE VAMPIRES BOOKS, THE LIFE OF CHRIST, WOLF GIFT BY ANNE RICE
Over the years Ms. Rice has demonstrated her productivity with the number of series she has written and published. With this in mind, a "Anne Rice: Series Reading Order" became necessary, especially when I take breaks and want to continue where I left off.

I also like the feature of automatic updates when Anne comes out with a new book.

It simply is the best instrument I have found for this purpose, so far.

Thanks,

First Came a Murder (Department Z Book 3)
First Came a Murder (Department Z Book 3)
First Came a Murder was the fifth book by John Creasey and the third in the Gordon Craigie Department Z series. It opens, strangely enough, with the murder of a prominent member of the Carilon Club, perpetrated by the Club’s Secretary for no apparent reason. This murder becomes the final incident that triggers the involvement of Department Z. You see, along with other disconnected events being pursued by Craigie’s Secret Service, the murder victim is a friend of one Hugh Devenish, a top Department Z agent.
Why the murder? Why does one of the City’s richest men, Hon. Marcus Riordon, isolate himself on a large estate, including running the tenants off as their leases expire? And, most suspiciously, how did he know exactly the cause of death?
The book has aged well, even if you agree with the review of Dorothy Sayers that Mr. Creasey quoted in his preface. If moves swiftly along and doesn’t linger unduly at any stage and shows glimmerings of the style and pace that will become the hallmark of later Creasey works and series.
A great read showing the beginnings of one of the major talents in mystery and suspense.
Book of the Dead: Scarpetta (Book 15) (The Scarpetta Series)
Book of the Dead: Scarpetta (Book 15) (The Scarpetta Series)
Unfortunately having read some of the reviews here before reading the book, I was expecting it to be rubbish. Having read it, I can't quite understand some of the terrible reviews here. If you could give half stars, I'd give Book of the Dead 3.5 stars. Its certainly not brilliant and a far cry from Cornwell's best but its not that bad. Admittedly, maybe the first third isn't great and the dynamics of character interaction between Scarpetta/Benton/Lucy/Marino are unrecognisable from earlier books, but from perhaps half way through, Book of the Dead picks up somewhat. There's a good crime novel in here though it may have been better as a novella. I do get fed up with Cornwell's insistence on describing architecture or even Italian recipes, as this adds nothing to the story. Even some of the forensic details are dull. The relationship between Shandy and Marino is painful to read and several times I almost stopped reading. Even bad characters and deteriorating relationships have to keep the reader interested but these I just found off putting. I also found the ending, how the criminal is 'caught' to be totally unrealistic. Without giving too much away, I'll say that for a killer who was portrayed as being so meticulous and careful in his crimes, the way he is 'caught' had me thinking, 'Nope, the killer just wouldn't do that.' Just my opinion. Its not a bad book (although I found the language especially between Marino/Shandy off putting) and there is a good crime story there but it is far from Cornwell's best. I should say that its been several years since I've read a Cornwell/Scarpetta book and the standard has certainly gone down.
Rubie's Costume Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Child's Hufflepuff Robe
Rubie's Costume Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Child's Hufflepuff Robe
I’ve ordered this as a Xmas present for a young hufflepuff. Firstly I stress this is a kids fancy dress outfit and not a traditional Hogwarts gown that would cost five times as much but would be made with the wand pocket and traditional silk. Having said that this item is great value for money and plenty good enough for any young aspiring wizard to enter the magical world of Hogwarts. The sizing guide is accurate and the colours are as shown. The badge is also accurate and is a plastic transfer but well adhered. Now it says you can’t iron this item but it came very creased in the packaging so I did iron it under a damp cloth on a cool setting and the creases came out fine. Don’t iron the badge though. The neck clasp is I suppose the only downside as it is very tricky to clip into place . I think kids will just put it over their heads which would save keep undoing it or you could sew on some Velcro if you prefer. For the price this is good value for money and I suspect my young hufflepuff will be in Harry Potter heaven.

I ordered this in the beginning of April as I was interested in learning how to cross stitch but wanted something a little more interesting that a simple flower or ladybug. This took until the beginning of June to get to me but the seller was willing to send me a new one once I had reached out. New one was not needed as it showed up two days later.

This is a fun design and a great activity for anyone who likes to do things with their hands. I'm extremely pleased and would recommend to anyone looking to start cross stitch!

Doctor Who: The Knight, The Fool and The Dead: Time Lord Victorious (Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious)
Doctor Who: The Knight, The Fool and The Dead: Time Lord Victorious (Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious)
A new Doctor Who novel. Telling an all new story for the Doctor which hasn't been told in any other medium before.

It runs for one hundred and seventy eight pages. It has a prologue. sixteen chapters. And three interlude chapters. Considering the books in this range used to run up to seventy pages longer, the length is a bit disappointing. But getting a slip jacket cover over it does perhaps make it look neater and it may last longer. Too bad they cost more than they used to as well, but that's life.

This feature the Tenth Doctor. It is set after the events of the tv episode 'The Waters of Mars', and if you are reading this you have doubtless seen that. If not, it's eleven years old, so you've had the time. But in the unlikely event you haven't it may not prevent you getting into anyway.

Thus the Doctor has no companion here.

It is part of a series of stories all being called 'Time Lord Victorious' which see the Doctors - eight nine and ten - all fighting aliens called the Kotturuh. Who judge other beings. and impose finite lifespans on them.

You don't need to have read or heard or looked at anything else in that range, and there's a lot of it, to get into this.

The story sees the Doctor getting caught up with the fight against the Kotturuh when trying to save a young girl from them. With the assistance of a certain Ood, a quest across space and time awaits. As do some very hard decisions....

As ever with these books, the characterisation of the Doctor is spot on. With lines you could imagine him saying on tv. It also really fits the period for the Tenth, as he gets very caught up in dealing once again with the issues that he faced in the Waters of Mars. And the issues the Kotturuh present him with as well.

There's also one great little bit of characterisation with the girl early on, that's a good bit of writing.

This really does utilise the prose medium to be as they often say 'too broad for the small screen'. But in doing that, it doesn't quite have the focus of tv episodes or most of the other novels, which were short scale. After a great start, I was rather having to work at this in order for it to keep my attention. Which wasn't always the way with this.

Although it does have a plot development in the middle, or just beyond that to be exact, that does manage to get it up to the next level of plot nicely. And it does know where it is going. What happens in the final third fits everything, both the plot and the way the Doctor is behaving throughout.

And the ending is utterly utterly brilliant.

Then comes a cliffhanger.

Which will be resolved in a novel called 'All Flesh is Grass' that is out in two months at the time of writing.

So all in all worth a look. It wasn't the smoothest ride at times, but the ending made it worth the journey.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hermione's Cat Crookshanks 18 Inch Plush
My son's 24-year-old girlfriend had to leave her real cat at home with her mother when she moved to an apartment, and she misses him, terribly. However, she is a huge Harry Potter fan, and Hermione is her favorite character, so here comes Crookshanks to the rescue! I bought this cat for a Christmas present for her, and Crookshanks is now wrapped and ready to make his Christmas debut! The cat is well made with very soft fur, thick fur, actually, nice to pet. The one I got does stand on its own, and it looks pretty real. The face is kind of hidden a bit if the fur is not brushed aside, but the expression looks authentic to the movie. The cat is sturdy, life-sized, kind of ugly, but, you know, it's Crookshanks!

Claey's Lemon Drops, 6-ounce Packages (Pack of 3)
I love this candy that was a treat during my childhood as my parents were not rolling in money and bought us kids fruits when money was available instead of candy. This was a candy that I remembered being in a candy dish in my parents home and my sister and I would sneak by and grab a piece every time we could. I still remember trying my best to keep the old green glass lid of that jar quiet so we would not be found out! It was a blessed childhood of the 60’s and 70’s that I would truly love to go back to today. :-).
This candy is still just as good as it was 50 years ago and I was so happy to find it here on amazon. I’ll keep buying it and I too do not have a lot of extra money but this is one little treat I will buy for myself for the candy itself which is so worth every single penny (not overpriced at all!) and for the memories of my childhood.
The Dark Side of History: Magic in the Making of Man
The Dark Side of History: Magic in the Making of Man
While the so-called occult (i.e.`hidden') aspect of history has been dealt with much more comprehensively by the likes of James Webb, Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke, Colin Wilson etc, the book is still worth a read for Edwardes' fascinating account of the magical antics of the Tibetan ecclesiastical establishment in their attempts to counter the assaults of the Chinese. Though he gives no sources for these outlandish events, Edwardes was well-connected to Asian intelligence sources, and I have little reason to doubt the veracity of his account. Alas, as always, magical spells and rituals are no match for the mechanised slaughter offered by the AK-47 (as the Brits had earlier discovered with the Gatling and Maxim guns) and the Chinese (who also reported Tibetan child sacrifice) simply ignored such mumbo-jumbo and swept all such resistance before them. Evolve or die, as always.

WinkyBoom Balloons Assorted Color 12 Inches 110 Count Premium Quality Latex for Birthday Party Decorations
Filled these balloons with helium the night before a birthday party. By morning they were all on the floor, half deflated. Very disappointed. If you are planning on using helium to inflate then look elsewhere.

Update 1/24/19
I have to give kudos to the support folks at Winky Boom. After leaving my review I was notified that a full refund had been issued. On top of that, a few days later I received a package with 100 Winky Boom balloons (double my original order). I really appreciate this kind of support from a vendor. However, the packing list for the balloons said they were helium quality latex but this was not listed anywhere on the packaging containing the balloons. I will have to test this and leave an updated review later.

Update 6/19/19
I received a second replacement package of these balloons. So again, kudos to Winky Boom customer support. But neither replacement package works with helium any better than the first one. I test filled a balloon with helium this afternoon and it was on the floor after only 3 hours or so. These are great balloons as long as you don't plan on using helium with them.
Padmaavat
Padmaavat
This is my second full viewing of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production, the first having been GOLIYON KI RASLEELA RAM-LEELA. In what appears to be typical fashion, PADMAAVAT is just as sumptuous to look at as RAM-LEELA was, if not more so. This is also the first film I've seen featuring Shahid Kapoor, and though he's noble, brave and principled as the Rajput king, Maharawal Ratan Singh, standing against the evil Sultan Alauddin Khilji, it's Ranveer Singh as Khilji who steals the show. I've now seen Ranveer in RAM-LEELA, the dramedy DIL DHADAKNE DO, and the first part of BAJIRAO MASTANI, and Khilji is a radical departure for him; one that I hope garners him a lot of recognition and awards. He commits completely to it, and what he does with it shows how much his range has EXPLODED as an actor.

Ranveer may steal the show, but not completely. Matching him scene-for-scene is Jim Sarbh, who plays the captured slave-turned adviser, whipping boy and alleged 'consort,' Malik Kafur, whose amoral streak is only overshadowed by his more-than-obvious love and devotion for his master. Ujjwal Chopra also shines as Gora Singh, Ratan's right-hand man and chief lieutenant.

Also wonderful is Aditi Rao Hydari, as the reluctant queen Mehrunissa, who doesn't realize what kind of monster she's married to, until it's far too late. In fact, there's not a bad thing I can say about a single performance in the film.

But the main person who makes or breaks the power of the movie is Deepika Padukone, who has the title role. As Queen Padmavaati, she is literally the "Helen of Troy" of the piece - a woman whose beauty brings men to their knees and could topple whole empires. As stunning as she was already in RAM-LEELA, Deepika makes you believe that men will fight, kill and die for her, with her breathtaking looks only matched by her intelligence.

I can't pretend to know everything about the 'controversy' surrounding this film, but if people are worried that the Rajput legacy comes out of this tarnished, nothing could be further from the truth. If anything, it's Muslims who don't wind up looking very sympathetic or trustworthy in the annals of history, though the film comes with a ready-made disclaimer to make sure that no one buys this as being historically accurate, (it is, after all, based on a poem.)

Technically, there were some glitches and hitches here and there with the CG visual effects, but that's nitpicking. SLB knows how to make an epic that you don't want to take your eyes off of for the nearly three-hour running time. I love movies that take me into other worlds, other cultures, other places that I wouldn't ever be able to see without traveling a tremendous distance (not to mention going back through time), and so far, he hasn't disappointed me in the least.

The one thing I have begun to notice is a running theme through Bhansali's work: he loves tragic endings. So I guess that doesn't bode well for the climax of BAJIRAO MASTANI once I finish watching that. But these films seem a whole lot less about the climax than the journey getting there, and each so far has been an unforgettable ride.

If PADMAAVAT is going to be your first Bollywood film, you could do a whole lot worse, but not a whole lot better. I can't wait to dig into another Bhansali film soon!
Headsweats Supervisor Sun Visor
Headsweats Supervisor Sun Visor
I was trying to replace running caps for days when I didn't want to keep heat trapped on my head. I thought, incorrectly, that these were a similar design, but just minus the head. I was incorrect. While my headsweats caps fit ideally, removing the head covering necessitates a broader sweat band. This band therefore sits much lower than a regular cap, and irritates my ears immensely. In addition, you can't fit sunglasses under the band because the band has to be tighter than a cap. So, my bad. I thought it would fit just like other headsweats products, but lighter and without one head piece. I was wrong and subsequently can't wear it running as intended.
Good news: it is the same high quality as their other products and is quite comfortable for hiking, gardening and times when you need a brim, but not a whole hat. Good colour and washes easily.

evCHARGEsolutions.com Electric Vehicle Charger Portable EVSE - USA Level 1 J1772 110V 25' Residential Station for EV Charging
Shortly after purchasing a 2012 Chevy Volt, the included OEM Voltec charger gave out. Replacement for that part seemed astronomical so I searched for an alternative.
This charger is just that. This cord has some heftiness to it, I can assure you that. Even with that being said, the product is on par with the OEM (if not better). The charge is level 1, so you know what to expect for it, but the space required to keep it near the outlet is far less, not mention you do get quite a bit more length in the cord.
I highly recommend this product. Great value. Great build. The light pattern on the charger is easy to understand. Two thumbs up without question.

I bought this product to play Super Smash Bros while using my GameCube controller. As soon as I plugged in the controller I found out some of the buttons were behaving a little weird. I figured out I have to change it to GC input mode first by holding the TURBO button down for 5 seconds. I tried that and it didn't work. I tried resetting the dock by unplugging it, and tried changing the grip order via the switch settings. Still nothing works. It looks great. It displays my switch on the TV very well, even works with my phone! Unfortunately one of the feature functions did not work for me :(

adidas Womens Grand Court Sneaker, White/Black/White, 8.5 US
I am glad that I took the advice of many other reviews and ordered a half size down. I am normally a size 9 and ordered a 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I have high arches also so, I did see another review where they took the insoles out and that helped because while I have narrow feet, they did feel a little hard to put on at first because of the insoles making them somewhat "shallow", for lack of a better word. They are just as comfortable without the insoles, so you'll be fine. Super cute shoe, really comfortable and the fit is great. I think I am going to order a pair in black as well! Also, they are NOT fakes, they are the real deal, so no worries about that.
Mastering Amazon Descriptions: An Author's Guide: Copywriting for Authors
Mastering Amazon Descriptions: An Author's Guide: Copywriting for Authors
Do you want to hook readers?

Copywriting is hard.

The author wants to help. He wants to give you tools to upgrade your skills.

This book contained some useful information. It offered some inspiring anecdotes and reiterated the important idea that authors need to embrace math.

Yet, compared to the previous book, this was underwhelming. Especially for the price.

Around 500 words of the short guide had an unabashed sales pitch given for readers, who are encouraged to copy/paste and share it.

A rough guess is that at least 40% of the book is blurbs from other authors.

It is true that examples can help reinforce knowledge.

A supplemental study guide could just as easily add value- and more money for the author... without so clearly showing that one can make plenty of money as an author of books... that are mostly critiques of others' works. Works which form a substantial portion of the guide.

In the first book, data abounded. There was a lot of great information. I like the author's wit and general knowledge, but it seems he became successful and is now phoning it all in.

On another note, in the section on not listening to the noise, the author mentions price...

I can agree with the obvious statement that authors probably can't make money selling all of their books at 99 cents.

Nonetheless, coffee prices at 5 dollars is quite different than a book. The TIME it takes to read a book requires considerably more of an investment. Not to mention the more intangible factors like trust.

You drink a cup of coffee for a quick buzz.

You read a book to be informed or entertained. Or maybe for social advancement.

Ten hours to read a 300-page book... even at minimum wage, that could be $100. You could watch five movies in that time. 60+ cheesy webinars. Some authors could WRITE A BOOK in ten hours.

Price is important. It'd be great if all readers paid whatever the author wanted solely because they wanted fervently to support the arts.

But, alas, people buy books for the same reasons they buy everything else: they discovered real or potential value.

In summation, the knowledge imparted is worthwhile. It can be hard to get to- it's buried under layers of snark, unrelated personal anecdotes, and other extraneous information. The stories are inspirational at times, the wit is funny, and the numerous examples may reinforce the central ideas. So, this may just be a case where the pedagogical methodology didn't work as well for this one student.

The book basically said that you need to hook readers, write short, impactful sentences, and leave potential buyers wanting more information.

For 10 bucks, the author could do better.

I know he could do better, because I've read his other books.

I fell in love with this hoodie as soon as I saw it so I decided to take the risk and buy it without being able to try it on. I ordered a large because I wanted it to be a little loose, I figured if it didn’t fit I could give it to my sister. The large fits exactly how I wanted it to, it’s the perfect loose fit. It doesn’t look sloppy but it’s still comfortable. The sleeve length is perfect too. I would say if you want a fitted look you’d be fine to order your regular size and if you want the fit to be looser go one size up. I am 5 ft and around 135-140 pounds and a medium would’ve given me a more fitted look, where the large gives me the oversized look. This hoodie is extremely soft both on the inside and outside. In the past when I’ve bought hoodies similar to this style there’s always been an itchy liner on the inside causing me not to uncomfortable and end up not wearing it. This hoodie also kept me fairly warm on a night where it was 27 degrees out, it’s not too thick or too thin, and the pockets are amazing! I wouldn’t recommend wearing only this for warmth if you’re going to be outside for extended amounts of time but for quick trips it’s the perfect grab and go hoodie. I will definitely be ordering again in different colors because I love it so much!

iCarez Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 12 Pro Max 6.7-inch Case Friendly [Full Coverage + Tray Installation] Easy to Apply [ 2-Pack 0.33MM 9H 2.5D Black Frame]
Installed this screen protector on my iPhone 12 Pro Max three days ago. So far, everything is okay, except for the fit. It's too small for the phone & leaves a significant portion of the top & bottom of the screen uncovered (about 2mm on the top and 2 mm on the bottom). Even with a case on the phone, there is still a gap between the lip of the case and the screen protector.

If they can just get the fit right, this would be a five star review; however, having a coverage/fit issue on a product meant to protect your device is unacceptable.

You give the impression when ordering the FIRe TV device that you can access this material -- but you can only do so if you already ahve cable telev ision. You need to put your thinking caps on guys! That's why we bought Firesticks so we didn't have to go the cable route and only buy what we want to watch and not get stuck with so many channels we never watch but have to pay for. PLEASE -- FIGURE OUT A WAY TO ADD HALLMARK CHANNEL, FOOD CHANNEL, HGTV, DIY NETWORK, FOX SPORTS, FOX NEWS -- ESPN SPORTS AND LET US PAY THEM FOR THE USE OF THE CHANNEL WITHOUT HAVING TO GO THROUGH CABLE TO GET IT. THERE HAS TO BE A WAY TO BREAK THIS MONOPOLY OF CABLE ONLY USE! ISN'T IT TIME TO DO IT BETTER! I REFUSE TO BUY CABLE TV BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR THINGS i DON'T USE -- FIRESTICK LETS ME BUY WHAT i WANT TO WATCH TO A POINT, BUT YOU NEED TO EXPAND YOUR ACCESS TO OTHER CHANNELS WE WANT TO WATCH. THE BEST THING YOU COULD DO IS TO CANVAS YOUR CURRENT FIRE TV OWNERS AND SEE WHAT THEY WOULD BUY AND GO FROM THERE TO SECURE ACCESS AT SOME REASONABLE PRICING SO PEOPLE CAN ENJOY THE CHANNELS WITHOUT ALL THE OTHER STUFF THAT THEY DON'T WANT THAT CABLE REQUIRES YOU BUY TO ACCESS THE CHANNEL. I'M SURE THE PEOPLE WHO SELL THESE CHANNELS WOULD BE HAPPY TO INCREASE THEIR VIEWING AUDIENCE AND INCOME -- AND I'M SURE YOU WOULD TOO. WE JUST WANT THE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE WHAT WE LIKE AND PAY FOR WHAT WE LIKE AND NOT WHAT WE DIDN'T WANT IN THE FIRST PLACE. ARE YOU LISTENING????

Crappy app. You start with $1,000 virtual dollars and if you win the game resets to $1,000 next time you open it. But if you lose the game remembers and you start with the amount left. So if you ever go bust even once the game will not let you play again until you but some more virtual dollars using a credit card and some very real dollars. Nobody wins at poker every time, there is a degree of chance involved of couse. So you will inevitably end up having to give them money to play. Not quite as "free" as promised. Skip it.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 64GB + 4GB RAM, 6.3" LTE 48MP Factory Unlocked GSM Smartphone - International Version (Moonlight White)
I was looking for a replacement for a kid's phone, she have a xiaomi mi a2 to play games, take pics and message her friends. I thought this would be a good replacement due to the full screen and a 48mp camera to take pics. But it is not much better, in a odd way I thought it was worst. I compared this phone to my Samsung Note 10 and my daughter's Mi a2, this is what I found. To no surprise the Note 10 takes much better pictures, is faster and just better in every way. I am not taking off any stars due to this since the Note 10 is a much better phone. I am giving this 3 star because it is just a little bit better than the Mi A2. It is a better looking phone, it feels like a high end phone while in hand than the A2, it is faster (not by much), more memory, bigger and better screen, but the most important and the item that made me want to buy this phone in the first place was the camera. The camera was subpar considering Xiaomi is advertising how good this camera is.

Indoor pics - sucks - The A2 took better pics indoor
Night mode - sucks - almost useless - note sure if I am comparing this to the Samsung but its useless
Macro - sucks - A2 took better pics and it doesn't even have this option/feature

The camera was such a disappointment that I reset the phone and printed out a return label. I did not even take this outdoor to test it, since indoor sucked and might of be half the pics she will take I decided it is not even worth continuing to test it.

Good:
Faster than the A2, comparable to mid end phones
Full body screen
Loud speakers - Keyword is loud, not nice sounding
Its very nice to look at
Price
Wide angle camera

Bad:
Camera - indoor, night, macro, front/selfie camera all sucked
Speed - lags a little bit

I did not feel that it was worth upgrading to this phone from the A2 even when the A2 is already a year or two older. Thats how bad I thought it is. Either the A2 is really good or this is really bad. This phone on paper should be been easily much better. Like day and night difference. This is why it gets 3 stars.

Just perfect for what I needed. The dash set up in my SUV not really the best for phone mounts. I had a cupholder holder before, but it was magnetic and the metal plates that go on the back of my phone messed up the wireless charging. It it had no height adjustment so I had to look down at my phone or pick it up. With this holder, I can adjust it so that it's high enough to see at a glance and is almost like one of the instruments. It fits great in the cupholder and adjust just fine. It does have a long neck which may lead to some bouncing, although this hasn't been a big problem for me at all. The only drawback is that it does look a little goofy with no phone installed, other than that it's great.
Prestige Deluxe Stainless Steel Deep Pressure Pan 5 liters
Prestige Deluxe Stainless Steel Deep Pressure Pan 5 liters
The 4L Prestige pressure cooker PAN doesn’t compare to my Fagor Elite pressure cookers but I’ve been coveting a pan (shallower and wider than a pot) for years. Fagor has foolproof systems that don’t allow for opening if there is any pressure inside.

I find it quite difficult to get the lid properly aligned. In fact, the pan was (I thought) closed and on my induction cooktop stove when I realized that although the handles were aligned there were huge gaps between the grooves. It takes a lot of maneuvering to close it properly. The Amazon price was $54 but I got this from Amazon Warehouse “used like new” for $36 (perhaps it was returned for this reason?) so I’m still happy with my purchase.

This seems like the older model pressure cookers except the little top doesn’t jiggle. There are loud bursts of steam and I’m not sure when I have it down to simmer. I made black-eyed peas (pre-soaked) and they came out fine.

Despite my misgivings, tens of thousands (or more) people in India love the Prestige brand so I will continue to acquaint myself with the idiosyncrasies. I must admit that the red handi is really pretty.
Oransi Finn HEPA UV Air Purifier with 2 Free Pre-Filters (OVHT9908)
Oransi Finn HEPA UV Air Purifier with 2 Free Pre-Filters (OVHT9908)
Some of the other reviews noted that when they received their filter, they did everything right, followed the instructions and the unit would not power on for them. I received the unit and had the exact same problem and had to return it to Amazon (who are Amazing by the way, they had a new one out to me next day). I followed the instructions, did everything right and this 2nd one wouldn't power on either. It was very frustrating. I couldn't believe that so many units would be this defective. Then I figured out the problem...

The unit will not power on if the filter is not in place. The problem though is that you can put the filter in correctly, perfectly lined up, the back will close right and click shut and everything, but if the switch or whatever it is that registers that the filter is there isn't hit right, then the unit doesn't realize that the filter is in place and won't power up. This is a frustrating design flaw because the back shouldn't click closed perfectly unless the filter is in place such that the switch gets tripped letting the unit know the filter is there. That is, if the back can close with the filter in it, then the unit should register the filter and be able to power up.

What I ended up doing was really pushing the filter in. Really pressing it in kinda hard. Then when I closed it up, the unit powered on. For me, obviously by not just placing it in correctly but really pushing it in, whatever switch needed to be tripped was and I finally got my power. It shouldn't be like that but there you have it. So now my unit works.

So thats the bad. I haven't fully tested it yet, but the air already smells cleaner and its a nice looking compact unit. The highest fan setting is a bit noisy for nighttime sleeping unless you like white noise to block out other noises in which case it might be perfect. We're doing it at level 2 at night and then upping it to 3 during the day. The other thing I like is that it came with 2 extra prefilters and the big filter should last for a couple years and it all can be vacuumed clean so that means I should get some good use from this.

I think that if you can get past the filter and power on design flaw, its probably a good system. If you know what to do then you won't get frustrated when your unit doesn't power on, but really they need to fix that because I think it frustrates and confuses a lot of people including me. Otherwise, I think its probably perfectly fine at cleaning the air.

This is the best red licorice I have had since I was a little kid and the *original* Red Ropes (if you could find them) were being sold, before they became the same plasticky-textured / vaguely-fruit flavored mess that most modern red licorice (Twizzlers, Red Vines, etc) are.

The WW red licorice is soft, juicy and incredibly addictive. Try to eat one piece. Just try.

Bought this tea without reading into the company, when it arrived there was a little background story on the box, I was very pleased to read the story of the young entrepreneur that started this company, its supporting TEAch Me, a program aimed at improving education, especially with girls in the tea producing communities. It somehow made the tea taste a little more satisfying.. Will definitely be buying more from this company. The tea itself is delicious ( I have the Citrus Ginger) they come well packaged for freshness and although squeezing it all into the zip lock bag they give you is a bit tricky, its well worth the hassle, as its so full of flavour. You can see the obviously quality of ingredients, as you can recognize the ginger and lemon grass large pieces, rather than some teas I've had when there is a bag of anonymous dust. Buy with confidence - tasty wholesome tea that is doing good in the world ?
