Elon Musk: Changing The World With Tesla, SpaceX, and SolarCity
Elon Musk: Changing The World With Tesla, SpaceX, and SolarCity
It's impossible to read this book. The english is gobbledygook. This is a book that needs Amazon to have a zero stars rating.

Chapter 1 begins - "The Southern African trade book PC and Office Technology released the source code into a movie game Musk had made. Called Blastar, the science-fiction-inspired space game demanded 167 traces of instructions to operate. This was back in the afternoon when ancient computer users were needed to sort out commands to generate their machines do much of anything." Trying to work out what the author should have written tires you out.

The back cover is even worse - "He began a set of enormous dot-com successes, such as Musk was forced out as CEO and thus started his last years where he made a decision to go it alone and educated buddies by investing his luck in rockets and electric automobiles."

I know what the author is trying to say (because I've read better books about Musk and a great deal on the internet) but my head started hurting with the strain of trying to decipher the words. They are english (I can tell that), but they just don't make sense (unless I have early onset dementia at the age of 53 - the book was a birthday present). I presume that english is not the author's first language.

So why does the book get 4 and 5 star reviews? Not many admittedly. The top one on the US version of Amazon says - "The entire book is a page-turner. Book was easy to read and kept my interest to the last page. Awesome explanation of Musk's planning and execution of very difficult ventures. Highly recommended to all those interested in the man or his ambitions."

Well I struggled to want to turn over even the first page. It was definitely not easy to read. It may well be an awesome explanation, but I cannot bear to read on. Cannot be be recommended to anyone.
Tierra Americana [American Dirt]
Tierra Americana [American Dirt]
If you truly care about people from Mexico, look for another book. If the advertising had described the book as a cheap thrills novel about escaping drug traffickers, it might get a pass. But it claims to lift up the experiences of migrants from central America, and it fails. The characters are thin creations. The choice of metaphors are bizarre. It is full of stereotypes and only tries to perpetuate that we should care about the "good" migrants. If you didn't know that "good" migrants existed, you will be shocked with this novel. But for anyone else familiar with Central American experiences, the banality and hollowness of the novel is evident from the first line. It displays total ignorance of Mexico and Mexican culture from the first chapter (the account of how the family was celebrating the quinceañera is not even close and the misrepresentations compound as you read on): it edits and plagiarizes scenes and information from other novels (look up article in Huffington Post). Instead, read the works of Luis Urrea, Reyna Grande, Sonia Nazario for more effective, captivating, sophisticated, personal and genuine accounts of migrant experiences from Central America.
The Feminism Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained
The Feminism Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained
One of the latest releases in the series, although I am also interested in feminism as a modern political ideology, its beginnings, diversity and disparity of opinion, different schools of thought, keynote thinkers and the like.

This is pleasingly comprehensive, it covers A LOT of trends and tendencies which I have found are not known about, in the main, or only seem to be known about by staunch supporters/devotees or staunch opponents/detractors. So, to that end, I checked to see, for instance, if the book had anything about "Anarcha-Feminism" for instance, I was not disappointed, a complete two page spread on it with keynote thinkers, quotes, pictures etc.

Then I considered would they have anything on all but forgotten trends such as "political lesbianism" or "compulsory heterosexuality" (two significant ideas/schools of thought during the eighties, which have simultaneously been "figures of fun", ie the comic character Ali G's repeated equation of feminism with lesbianism, and hotly debated). Those are present too, comprising very factual accounts in condensed form, usually (like I say some these trends and schools of thought have been hotly debated, from almost every single conceivable angle, it will be insufficient or just barely sufficient in scope for some readers perhaps but for a DK book I think it is what would be expected. Practically a book on a modern political ideology like this one could have run to a series of volumes). There are some more niche or margin ideologies or trends which are not represented, which are interesting to anyone who has had a more exhaustive interest in modern political ideologies, associated with feminism, such as the "Amazon" movement (which stressed strength and physical prowess, campaigned for equal roles in the military, first responder units and policing).

As with all of the DK range, I would praise the structuring of the content, it is set out into different phases or waves, so there is the "birth of feminism" (18th to early 19th century), the struggle for equal rights (1840 - 1944), the personal is political (1945 -79), the politics of difference (1980s), a new wave emerges (1990 - 2010) and fighting sexism in the modern day (2010 onwards).

Of course when it comes to feminism the use of the word "wave" denotes a particular idea, hence the chapter A New Wave Emerges, which has as its first sub-chapter "I am the Third Wave". This vindicates a particular idea that feminism itself is a singular or monolithic ideology which has progressed through a series of different developments or iterations denoted as waves, first, second, third.

I personally dont think this is the best way to consider the topic and have always preferred instead other considerations of it, which without assuming any sort of factionalism or internal sectarianism, feminism as being divisible into separate ideological schools of thought, ie liberal, socialist, marxist, radical, ecological. It is perhaps a minor complaint, it is also fair that the idea of waves itself is included.

However, that said, a consistent feminist liberal (sometimes libertarian or individualist, "iFeminist") would take issue with some versions of "the personal is political" as it may not permit a private and public/social sphere of life, the limited nature of political and public life or obligations and duties is a significant part of liberalism in at least its classical iteration at least.

Also the idea of progressing in a linear fashion through a series of waves of development ignores, to a certain extent, a certain "euro-centric" or "western" or "anglo-sphere" bias, if you want to describe it as that, as there are many parts of the world in which liberal, socialist, marxist iterations of feminist thinking have never emerged and later developments, such as political lesbianism (and the heterosexual or lesbian rejection of the idea), are almost inconceivable.

One thing this kind of time line has in its favour is that it can be a useful "foil to the discussion" of whether the various developments and innovations are signs of growth and diversification or instead deterioration and fragmentation (I've read convincing consider of either accounting for changes or tendencies).

The book ends with the MeToo movement, which is perhaps a good a point as any, there is a large glossary of terms, which is useful, directory of persons and an index. I think this is a really great addition to the range, I would hope that there are other modern political ideology books, conservatism, socialism and liberalism surely would possess as much topical range and development to warrant their own books. Recommended.
Shot Of Love
Shot Of Love
"I’m still carrying the gift you gave
It’s a part of me now, it’s been cherished and saved
It’ll be with me unto the grave
And then unto eternity"

of all Bob Dylan albums ”Shot of Love” holds 2nd place behind only one album”Saved” this is not to say that you should think”Shot of Love” is a bad album – may God forbid -. Many things here are similar. The Early 80's seemed for him the perfect era to once and for all open up both his heart and soul for the listener, and attempt to be None Other than his Personal Self. We who have followed through all his stages of soul searching remember songs like ”Knocking On Heavens Door” 1973 ”Sara” 1976 or ”I Believe in You” 1979. Shot of Love like it's predecessor "Saved" sees Dylan openly breaking the ties with "staple food" protest songs, but here he truly finds himself and he is attempting a more whole-hearted, or should I say open-hearted approach - more so than on any of this 60's or 70's albums.

Shot of Love may not be his most iconic LP but content wise it is one of his best. Listen again to the brave heroics of "Propety of Jesus", this is not just a dynamite song, in the content lays an important reflection of a certain aspect of life: - to be brave enough to have faith and at the same time to keep this faith alive no matter what.
Vocally Dylan is at his most hearfelt here, and could we have suspected it to be otherwise? On "Shot of Love" Bob Dylan delievers some of the best songs he ever wrote and the way he delievers them as I said is very heartfelt and true. The main theme of the album has to do with faith and findning new ways of learning something about life. the content is full of experiences of the body and the soul and is about communicating about this with other people. All tracks stand out in a personal way, but if I must choose highlights my three track picks for making a compilation CD from my favourite Dylan Albums I choose ”Property of Jesus” which deserves an extra star for it's pathos and carisma "Watered down Love", for rewarding the listener with a fine display what love really means to humanity. The epic ”Every Grain of Sand” also touches on this subject and transmits a special feeling about the Wonders of Creation and The Creator.
other than that I would like to make an honourable mention of a few more:"Heart of Mine” which on the other hand tells us "You can't do the time - don't do the crime." It is a witty reflection of something quite serious - the negative sides of desire -, and it seems no one can handle composing of songs on these themes with the same calibre and in the same way as Bob Dylan does. All I am saying is listen to the lines cited above from "In the Summer Time" one more time feel the earthbound ethereal feel of the poem an rustic musical texture. This is Dylan in his own comfort zone and he opens up his inner soul to anyone with a will to listen. Nothing other than a masterpiece.

Air Jordan 1 Mid Mens Fashion Basketball Shoes 554724-067
I legit checked the shoes based on YouTube reviews and everything matched up so I believe they are real. A way to know is by typing in the product number from the tongue of the shoe and the box into the search bar on footlocker or stockx. The only flaw was one shoe had a a small piece of extra thread from the stitching and the box was not in the best shape but that could have happened during shipping. Otherwise I would recommend buying them here.

Dinosaur Blanket Glow in the Dark Luminous Dino Blanket for Kids - Soft Plush Blue T-Rex Blanket Throw For Boys and Girls - Large 60in x 50in Glowing Jurassic Dinosaur Fossil Dino Bones Blankets
I bought this blanket for my 2.5 year old son for Christmas thinking he would absolutely love it. First of all, I wanted to buy one of these blankets from Zulily for $12 but they sold out. Knowing my son and how he loves his blankies I went ahead and spent the extra $20 and got this one. Mistake! It is definitely NOT worth the amount I paid for this. Yes, it glows in the dark (not the issue). It is as thin as the $3 blankets at Walmart. It is soft, yes. But worth thirty some dollars? Uh no! If my son didn’t latch onto it I would have returned it. You can find better for cheaper or same price.

Rubie's Marvel Avengers: Endgame Deluxe Captain America Costume & Mask
Our 4 year old son requested Captain America for halloween. I am very impressed with this costume. It is a bit big, but that was to be expected with the somewhat "universal" toddler sizing. Once he is fully clothed with a sweater and his boots. It should be perfect. Overall very happy, would recommend!
Razer Wolverine Ultimate Xbox One Gaming Controller + Nari Ultimate for Xbox One Gaming Headset Bundle
Razer Wolverine Ultimate Xbox One Gaming Controller + Nari Ultimate for Xbox One Gaming Headset Bundle
 UPDATE 11/24/2017:
The audio bug I reported in my original review is now finally fixed. After working extensively with Razer support (who have been great) and two replaced controller it was finally determined to be a firmware bug as predicted. They issued a new firmware v1.02.00 which fixes the issue . So if you experience the audio bug I faced you should contact Razer support to get the firmware updater . I now full, 200% recommend this controller . The only reason I am not bumping my original rating from 4 stars is to recognize the existence of this initial (but resolved) issue

I'm an avid console FPS gaming enthusiast and spend a significant portion of my game time playing online competitive multiplayer games like Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1 , Overwatch, Halo 5 etc. And just like me I'm sure you will come to a point where you'll realize that the stock OEM Xbox controller doesn't really cut it. Hence I have a amassed quite the collection of 3rd party controllers including my current favourite the Razer Wildcat controller (before using the Wolverine controller that is). For this review I will compare the new Wolverine controller to the Wildcat controller, how it feels in hand while gaming and reasons why I had initially chosen the Razer Wildcat over the Xbox Elite controller ( all of which apply to the Wolverine controller as well)

WHY I CHOOSE THE RAZER CONTROLLER OVER THE XBOX ELITE CONTROLLER
When I first purchased my Wildcat I had spent an embarrassingly large amount of time researching between it and the Elite controller and in the end it came down to this :
- If you read online forums, Reddit etc you'll quickly come to realize that the Elite controller is plagued with build quality issues and cheap plastic parts that break easily and on top of that the elite controller only has a 6 month warranty. These Razer controllers come with 1 year warranty. To me the the length of warranty told me all I wanted to know about the confidence each of the manufacturer had in their product
- The second thing that really seals the deal in favor of the Razer controllers (both Wildcat & Wolverine) is MECHANICAL buttons - You see even while costing $150 the elite controller had the same rubber domed ABXY buttons as the stock Xbox or any other cheap controllers. Rubber dome buttons do not provide the right feedback while intense gameplay as they tend to bottom out / fade away and 'stick' over time . Whereas the Razer controller feature proper mechanical switch ABXY buttons that are responsive , Clicky (just like a mechanical keyboard) and feature a very short travel distance and actuation time
- Well these two reasons were more than enough for me to look away from the elite controller

DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY
- From the first moment you unbox the Wolverine controller , open its velvet lined hardshell case and hold the controller in your hand - you realize that it just oozes with quality worthy of its asking price. It is neither too heavy nor too light , the matte finish plastic construction, triggers , trigger locks all feel solid and operate smoothly without any creaks and rattles
- Unlike the Razer Wildcat controller where you have to stick the rubberized grips yourself which is hard to get right , the Wolverine controller now features a permanent rubberized dotted grip which works out much better in practice without adding too much bulk. It is very comfortable to hold/squeeze even with sweaty palms
- The trigger stops are also better built and feel sturdier than Razer Wildcat controller
- The four rear buttons on the rear of the controller ( M3 to M6) are made of plastic and are also of the mechanical switch type with very short actuation distance and clicky operation. One thing I would like to point out is that the rear triggers/buttons on the Wildcat controller are made of metal whereas they have switched to plastics for the new Wolverine controller
- Another aspect where the Razer controllers are better than the Elite controller is their built in chat & program pad. You can quickly program the 6 customizable buttons without the help of any software and quickly change assignments on the fly . It can store two profile assignments and also adjust chat and game volume
- You can swap the rubber domed metal- thumbsticks , D-pad out to match your preference whether you like the stock xbox controller feel, taller wider or dome shaped thumbsticks - there's one for every preference. While the magnets that hold the thumbsticks and D-pad is strong they can still come out if the controller falls or is kept face down . Hence i would recommend some caution there
- The reason why most of the 3rd party controllers on the market today are wired (with the sole exception of modded stock $170+ Scuff controllers) is because Xbox One uses a proprietary wireless protocol for their controllers which is probably very expensive to license, so its hard to be critical on this controller for being wired. Having said that the included 10 Ft nylon braided cable is durable and long enough for most gaming setups and can easily reach your couch

PERFORMANCE, TRIGGER LOCKS & CUSTOM BUTTONS
- Lets first talk about the trigger locks as they're one of main game changers when compared to stock controllers, as they limit the motion of the RT/LT triggers right upto their actuation point and cutting their 'dead' zone by almost 75%. If you prefer high precision or semi-automatic weapons in your FPS games, then you can get in significantly more number of shots faster than you would on a regular controller. The importance of that in a tense encounter with another player cannot be understated. Also unlike the Wildcat controller you dont have to activate a special 'Hair Trigger' mode on this controller as some games do not accurately recognize trigger locks . The Wolverine controller does that automatically the moment you engage the trigger locks. Very convenient indeed
- The positioning for the additional shoulder buttons M1 & M2 is genius if you ask me and once you get used it , you will stop using the regular shoulder buttons LB & RB . That's because when your fingers are on the LT & RT fingers are already exactly where the shoulder M1 & M2 buttons are located . That way you can operate them without having to lift your fingers off the triggers - Another advantage in multiplayer
- The four buttons at the back M3 to M6 are ideally located and easy to reach , but it does take getting some used to for incorporating into your gameplay. But the thing is once you get used to it you cant do away with it - I find it very hard going back even to my Wildcat controller now!
- By default the rear triggers M5 & M6 are configured for two modes with the left rear trigger for a mode called 'Focus' which decreases the sensitivity of the analog sticks by half as long as you keep M5 pressed (you can fine tune this in the Xbox Synapse app) . This allows you to carefully line up those headshots using sniper rifles . Pressing the right rear trigger activates the 'Agile' mode which doubles the analog stick sensitivity for faster response. Once you get the hang using these two mode - It does give you yet another very tangible advantage over your opponent
- Of Course if you dont want to use the Focus & Agile modes you can always re-assign the rear triggers M5 & M6 to any button you like. Think of of it - With the four rear buttons you could map the entire ABXY buttons to them and never have to move your fingers off the thumbsticks and the triggers ! ( as even the shoulder buttons M1 & M2 are right there)
- Now for the Chroma lighting on the controller which I first thought was mainly gimmicky as you never get to see it while you are actually gaming - But it does look cool for onlookers. What changed my view of it was a lighting mode called 'Immersive' which lights up as according to the controller's vibrations ie say when you fire a weapon it lights up or when you are running . It does look very cool- Check out the small clip i made of it in action

AN ANNOYING BUG
- My only disappointment with this controller is a firmware bug I encountered where if you use the Wolverine to turn on the Xbox it does not activate the audio on the 3.5mm jack and you have to do literally unplug the controller and plug the controller back in to get audio. Sometimes even the controller fails to turn on when you power on the Xbox
- I contacted Razer support for this and they did RMA my first controller and since they did not have one in stock in their local warehouse they sent it to me from their Hong Kong warehouse with two day international shipping ! Kudos to them for that but even my second controller has the same issue.
- I am decking one star for this bug alone. And the reason why I am not taking away more stars is because it can be fixed via a firmware update (which just happens to not be available yet) and they had the other similar issues with their Wildcat controller at launch which was fixed by a later firmware upgrade. I just hope it comes soon enough
- I have the original Xbox (not the S) and this bug happens on Xbox on both power saving and instant on modes

FINAL THOUGHTS
So there you have it the Wolverine controller is miles better than their own Wildcat controller (and by extension the Xbox Elite controller) . It is so good that I dont like using my Wildcat anymore as it does give a very tangible edge to my gameplay and has better overall ergonomics and precision. The only thing I would like to caution you about is the audio bug I faced requiring you to unplug and replug the controller every time. I will update this review once there is a firmware update available but until then you'll have to decide if its a quirk worth living with or not. And according to me - It is...See you in the battlefield !
Eugene Onegin and Other Poems: and Other Poems (Everyman's Library Pocket Poets Series)
Eugene Onegin and Other Poems: and Other Poems (Everyman's Library Pocket Poets Series)
Eugene Onegrin is considered by many scholars as one of the greatest poems ever written. Charles Johston's translation from the Russian is very readable.
The idea developed in most cultures that a person is punished for his misdeed in the same way that he committed the misdeed. Slap someone and you will be slapped. Insult another and you will be insulted. In English, the notion is called “tit for tat.” In Hebrew it is midah keneged midah, “measure for measure.” It is discussed in the Babylonian Talmud Sotah 8b, 9a; Megilah 12b; and Sanhedrin 90a, b, and 100a, b. Many call the notion superstition: it rarely happens, and when it does it is simply happenstance. Some insist that the punishment is inflicted by God. Others that it is part of nature. People can cite many examples of it, such as the life and death of the Russian Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin (1799 –1837). Who was Pushkin, what did he do wrong, and how did he die?
Pushkin was a highly respected, poet, playwright, and novelist who lived during the Romantic Era. Many, even today, consider him the greatest Russian poet and call him the founder of modern Russian literature. His great-grandfather Ibrahim Gannibal (1696-1781) was kidnapped as a child from Africa and was raised by Peter the Great. Ibrahim became the godson of Peter the Great and was made a Russian prince. He was considered Europe’s first black intellectual and rose to be a general in the Russian army. One who wants to read about him can read “The Stolen Prince” by Hugh Barnes.
Pushkin fictionalized Ibrahim’s life in “The Moor of Peter the Great,” in the book “Novels, Tales, Journeys” and other translations of the tale. The translators call this story and the other stories in “Novels, Tales, Journeys” masterpieces. “The Moor of Peter the Great” describes Peter the Great as a hands-on very intelligent leader, working to improve Russia side by side with his workmen. It pictures the very intelligent “Moor” preferring to stay in France because he had a sexual relationship with the wife of another man. But despite his strong affection for the woman, he gave way to Peter’s call to return to Russia. This short story shows the customs of the time in Russia, the backwardness of the country, illicit sexual relationships, and the prejudices against blacks.
Pushkin, like Ibrahim, enjoyed the extremes of pleasure and peril, including having sex with the wives of other men. But he could not accept that his wife loved another man, a French officer, and enjoyed being with him, even though historians could find no proof that his wife committed adultery. He was killed in a duel with the French officer because of the alleged adultery, the very crime that Pushkin committed. It was tit for tat: he committed adultery and died because of it.

I originally ordered this product because I will be headed to NYC and wanted something lightweight and small so I could wear without the concern of something being stolen. Since then I am so happy that I will continue to wear this in replace of a basic purse. The product is so comfortable I forget I have it on while doing basic errands such as shopping or even when I get to work. This item perfectly stores my small belongings such as : hand sanitizer, credit cards, cash , chap stick and other small belongings. I have a Samsung Galaxy 9 with a case and it fits as well. I have a small waist so finding a fanny pack with such a wide range of adjustments , the strap for adjusting is hidden ell and the buckle makes taking it off so easy! Since purchasing this product I have received over several compliments within the first week of using it. Could not be any happier with my purchase!
The Warbirds: "One of the best adventure writers around" - Clive Cussler (Jack Locke Book 1)
The Warbirds: "One of the best adventure writers around" - Clive Cussler (Jack Locke Book 1)
I first encountered Mr. Herman in "The Last Phoenix." Despite the age of this novel, I am very happy I bought it. The military and technical knowledge he demonstrates is amazing. The plot, and this to me is a very plot driven book, is absorbing and very well done. The characters are believable, and familiar to anyone who is military, or grew up in a military family, as I did (my father and favorite uncle were career Navy officers, and my uncle a Navy pilot who fought in the Pacific in WWII, in Korea, and in Vietnam.) Mr. Herman knows whereof he writes, and makes clear the costs of serving your country, sometimes for causes that are unclear or even, were one free to judge them, less than worthwhile. But that is the reality when you take the oath, so long as you are not asked to commit war crimes. Was I sad to see so many characters to whom I had grown attached give their last full measure? Of course. But that made the novel all the more believable. My highest recommendation.

I want to thank Mr. Herman for his service, as well. I would have fought in the same horrid war he did, because it was family tradition to do so going back literally hundreds of years. Terrible eyesight prevented that, and probably made it possible for me to write this review. But I truly appreciate those who did what they had to do. And am thankful to Mr. Herman for sharing those experiences indirectly in his novels.

VICSEED Universal Car Phone Mount Car Phone Holder for Car Dashboard Windshield Air Vent Long Arm Strong Suction Cell Phone Car Mount Fit with iPhone SE 11 Pro X XS Max XR Galaxy S20 All Phones
All of my previous experiences with car mounts involved things falling off. I've had various Garmins with Garmin mounts, and they always fell off (whether from the windshield or a disc). It got to the point that I would leave my GPS plugged in constantly while using it, so that if it fell in floorboard while I was driving, I could pull it up with one hand using the power cord. It did that a lot. Inevitably while I was driving in very heavy, crazy traffic with an exit coming up in under a mile. So that's what I have to compare this mount to.

This mount came with a disc to put on my dashboard, but I didn't want to pry off the old Garmin disc. I was afraid that would damage my dashboard, since the thing has been there for 12 years or so. I considered stacking the discs, but thought I should try the new mount on the old disc first. The mount just barely fits on my old Garmin disc. The disc that it came with is slightly bigger. But it did fit. Just have to be really careful to get it lined up, since the fit is so close. And it does NOT fall off. Honestly, I can't even pry it off. I have to get my husband to pull it off when I want to remove it, and it takes him a minute or two to get it off.

I've had this for two months now. It's had a decent amount of city and country driving, and it's been on one roadtrip so far. Lots of bumpy roads and such. And it never once fell. That's all I really wanted. Was something to not fall.

It fits my iPhone SE well. Because of the case I have, it is difficult to insert the plug into phone in while it is in the mount, so I just plug it in before I stick it in the mount. I like how adjustable it is. I was able to position it to where it was comfortable for me very easily. The air vents in my car would not take air vent clips, and those were too low for me to see easily. This one is perfect.

The one thing I can't speak to is how meltable it may be. It spent most of the hot days at the end of summer in the garage. Not a lot of chances for it to melt the gel.

For what I wanted though, this is great. It just barely fits on the pre-existing Garmin disc, and it doesn't fall. It's never dropped my phone. It was a good purchase.

I absolutely love my phone / tablet stand! It is very sturdy. You can adjust the holster so that the weight distributes as needed for whichever you are using. I use it to hold my phone at my workstation. So easy to make calls, mute as needed and text message all without having to hold my phone! And having it propped up is so much better than laying it flat somewhere on my desk getting lost in the shuffle of my papers! And with all the Facebook live news conferences in our state due to COVID, etc..., I can easily work and watch them at the same time!!!

I removed light bulbs for garage lights and put these as light source and set the timer. To set, I just push “on” once on then pushed “timer” They stay on for 6 hrs from the time u pushed “timer” and comeback on at the same time u set the timer. The video didn’t capture true color when it goes to green/ yellow and it just appears “white” but with naked eyes, u can clearly see green and yellow. Really love the timer function for this outdoor lights, so convenient. I also put those lights for mini Christmas tree that I put on top shelf of book shelves. I’m thinking getting more for office next year. With these, u can decorate work space or where u don’t have outlets.

Update 1year later:
It’s December 2018. I just changed new batteries and working great for 2nd year! Yay!
I added two more to swag. I taped them with 3M outdoor double stick tape. Omg, they’re so cute! I’m only 5.2” so I can’t really clip or nail Christmas lights along roofline but wanted outside decorations. These really did lighten up my house! We got rain and WINDY days and I was worried but they survived! Christmas is over but totally recommend this. 👍🏼👍🏼😊
Update!
It’s 2019 and still working this Christmas. Yay ( just add new battery) we had rain but still keep going. Recommended ✨
Preparing for the Fiscal Cliff
Preparing for the Fiscal Cliff
With the inflammatory title and blurb, I expected this book to be a little more over the top. While the authors repeat some pretty "out-there" advice, most of it is labelled as what others are recommending, and the authors limit themselves to practical advice to prepare for any economic hardship, along with specific numbers to help estimate each family's economic burden.
Licorice Pastels 5LB Bolsa
Licorice Pastels 5LB Bolsa
You are looking for something...something you can't get just anywhere. Licorice that's melt-in-your-mouth fresh, with a faint bite to it. A thin, crispy candy coating. You have tried grabbing boxes of Good-N-Plentys from the bargain candy bin at the local Wal-Mart, but they're not the same. You have bought pastels from the flea market where they let you shovel them into a bag with a scoop, but they're always a little stale.

You were beginning to think you might never find authentic, fresh licorice pastels with crispy candy coatings and soft, juicy licorice centers.

But your fears were ungrounded. You have arrived. This is it. The motherload. These are the freshest, most awesome candies, anywhere, ever, of all time. No kidding, they're THAT GOOD.
